About the Role

We want someone who shares the organisations core values of being child focussed, sparky, empowering, resourceful and kind and who can live by the ethos of who Roald Dahl was and what he is delivering through his legacy. We also need someone who is flexible and can react positively to a post- Coronavirus fundraising world.

The role’s main task is to maximise income from trusts by the creation of high-quality applications and

reports to funders, and by providing excellent account management and cross-team collaboration.

Supported by the Head of Development and the rest of the team, key responsibilities include:

· Trusts research - you will proactively identify trusts and research them for suitability.

· Trust applications – you will be able to gather project information, curate it, and write it up into informative, engaging, high quality applications, giving trusts the opportunity to fund the work.

· Trust relationships – you will communicate and will build relationships with funders through emails, letters, telephone calls, service visits and face to face engagements.

· Provide high quality account management - maximising income generation and relationship longevity.

· Reporting – you will gather the necessary information to compile reports that give funders real insight into what they have achieved.

· Support the rest of the team – to gain experience and maximise fundraising opportunities

· Building and maintaining team processes

About You

You will have experience working or volunteering for a charity and in writing successful bids and securing income, ideally from trusts.

You will have:

· The ability to take complex information and translate this into persuasive written communication which leads to action.

· Solid research skills, which can be applied to identification of suitable new prospects for a funding pipeline.

· Ability to operate in a highly cohesive, high performing team based on the principles of trust, mutual respect, and empowerment.

· Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting workloads successfully.

· A high level of competence in using Microsoft Office software notably Excel, Word and generic databases.

Action for Conservation is a grassroots charity with a mission to bring the magic of nature into young people’s lives, inspiring a youth movement committed to conservation, restoration and to the Earth. We use pioneering approaches to inspire and empower young people from diverse backgrounds, between the ages of 12 and 24, to become the next generation of environmental leaders. We're looking to appoint a Programme Coordinator based along the South East Coast to help us expand our work in the region and deliver our programmes for young people.

About the role

As South East Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering our core programmes in your region. Through your work, you will inspire and support young people to connect with nature in new and exciting ways and gain new environmental knowledge and skills, and will empower them to have a voice on environmental issues they care about and take action for nature.

You will plan and lead a wide range of sessions for and with young people indoors (including in schools), outdoors and online. You will also support young people to design and deliver environmental action projects that benefit nature and their local communities and create platforms for young people to share their voices and influence decision-making. You will look after all practical and administrative aspects of programme delivery as well as play a vital role in inspiring, empowering and supporting young people both during and outside of activities. You will also formally act as our Blue Mentor for the Blue Influencers Scheme, a match-funded programme for environmental youth social action, funded by The Ernest Cook Trust and the #iwill Fund. 

This role sits across programme coordination and administration on one hand and programme delivery on the other. The proportion of each varies throughout the year, with a busy spring and summer season of activities leading into a quieter, desk-based autumn and winter season as we plan and get ready for the year ahead. In total across the year, you can expect to lead or support the delivery of four to six Ambassador events (usually day-long with a 2-day residential graduation), two 5-day residential summer camps, and around 25 (half-day) sessions at secondary schools or youth groups in your regional (plus additional sessions as needed to support your colleagues with their session delivery).

To be successful in the role, you will be highly organised, proactive, self-reliant and a skilled facilitator who can engage and build positive relationships with young people in a range of settings. You will have prior experience of delivering events and activities for and with young people and, ideally, relevant experience of programme coordination and administration.

Main duties

Support young people to engage in our programmes and learn about, connect with and take action for nature

• Recruit a diverse range of schools, youth groups and young people to take part in our programmes and act as Blue Influencers, with a particular focus on young people experiencing disadvantage and marginalisation.
• Create exciting content and educational materials for young people.
• Plan and deliver events and activities that help young people to connect with nature, develop their environmental knowledge and skills and take action in their communities, with a particular focus on coastal, marine and riverine environmental issues.
• Support and mentor young people to imagine, plan and deliver environmental action projects to tackle issues that are important to them, with a particular focus on projects that benefit blue spaces.
• Support young people to partner with local community organisations to embed their projects within the community and maximise learning, connection and impact.
• Lay the groundwork for our first coastal Intergenerational Action Site, bringing together young people, conservationists, local stakeholders and community members through our ‘gold standard’ approach to intergenerational nature restoration and decision-making.

Lead on programme coordination and support with safety, evaluation and communications

• Be responsible for the general coordination and manage the logistics to deliver our programmes in your region.
• Manage risk, health and safety and safeguarding during programme activities.
• Ensure Blue Influencer projects meet the Ernest Cook Trust’s and #iwill Fund’s funding criteria and are administered in line with the due diligence guidance.
• Support the evaluation of our programmes and report on outcomes. 
• Help us to grow and manage our network of volunteers in your region.

Responsibilities and duties

Provide effective and efficient HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle for both Purposeful Ventures and its incubated ventures and funds, including: 

• being the first point of contact for the HR mailbox;
• managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes;
• coordinating all HR admin processes; 
• upkeep of the HR Information System, CharlieHR; and
• administration of all recruitment procedures from job application to appointment, using Team Tailor. 

Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Purposeful Ventures Team, by providing team coordination and administrative support, including: 

• being the first point of contact for general enquiries; 
• managing the team calendar;

Contribute to the smooth running of our finance processes, providing support to finance staff including mailbox monitoring and expenses submissions.

Youth Futures Foundation is the What Works Centre for youth employment. We exist to address the significant disparities in youth employment for marginalised groups. We want to ensure that all young people can access and keep good quality jobs.

Role and Responsibilities:
Support from trusts and foundations is our main source of philanthropic income so we are looking
for somebody with experience in grants fundraising who can quickly apply their skills and
expertise. You’ll work closely with our Development Director to report to and liaise with current
funders, manage a pipeline of prospects and submit successful applications to secure new grants.
In addition, you will support in building a major donor programme to diversify and strengthen our

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent fundraiser with a demonstrable track record of 3+ years’ experience successfully raising significant funds for charities or non-profits and managing relationships with funders (foundations - essential, high net worth individuals - desirable);
• Strong background in managing grants admin, including due diligence and processing agreements;

The Rigby Foundation is the charity of the Rigby Family and their wholly owned family business, the Rigby Group PLC.  In 2023, the Trustees appointed an Executive Director, the Foundation’s first member of staff, to support them in setting their future strategy.

The principal role of the Partnerships Manger will be to support the development, launch and management of The Rigby Foundation’s Inspiring Futures program.  This will include managing relationships with Foundation partners, leading on impact measurement for all partnerships, preparing regular partnership reports, being responsible for inspirational communications that raise the profile of the Foundation’s work, representing the Foundation at internal and external events and deputising for the Executive Director as appropriate.

About the role

We are excited to be advertising this newly created role as part of WGN’s growth. This role will be the lead on the finance function. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Resources, the role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation including executive leadership, with a specific focus on working closely with the Director and external auditors. The role will have two direct reports – Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Officer. This is a hands-on role and will have full responsibility for the finance function on a day to day and medium-term basis. Job Summary

CAAS provide an ADHD and Autism Support Service for the 8 boroughs of NW London, from our base in Eastcote, with a team of Support Workers. Our work includes offering information, advice, and support to ADHD / autistic people, their families, and professionals in NW London, with the aim of improving quality of life and developing neurodiverse-aware communities. Some of the support is offered through one2one meetings, some of the support is provided through groups and courses which aim to increase understanding and awareness, and provide opportunities for peer support, and some of the support is offered through training and workshops to educate professionals and drive for accommodations to be made to services to allow greater access for our client group.

As Finance Manager you will report to and work closely with the Finance Director and have responsibility for the operational delivery of the finance, resource, monitoring, HR and contracting work streams within the charity. The role sits within the management group at CAAS, alongside the Youth, Adult and Family Service managers and the Client Programmes Director and manages the Finance and Monitoring Assistant and the Office Assistant.

The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the infrastructure and operational delivery at the charity are effective for the more than 30 staff we employ, and the more than 11,000 instances of support we provide each year. Therefore, we are looking for a capable, calm, self-motivated, organised and hard-working accountant who is looking to move into a senior finance role, from any commercial, statutory or charitable background.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Management and Reporting

· Prepare accurate, timely and well controlled and documented monthly and quarterly accounts. Share the outcomes of your reviews with the Finance Director, and ensure the accounts are reported in an meaningful way.

· Support in the preparation of Trustee reporting

· Support in the preparation and audit of the annual statutory accounts.

· Support with the annual budget and periodic reforecast processes to ensure the timely and appropriate provision of information to facilitate necessary adjustments to operational activity and appropriate decision making around cash investments.

Resource & IT Management

· Manage our internal personnel and H&S support programmes, such as our EAP provider, our training providers and our office maintenance systems.

Monitoring Management, Reporting and Impact Evaluation

· Carry out the necessary regular reviews and support so that our CRM records are complete and accurate in respect of work performed, and prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring reports internally.

· Prepare monitoring reports for funders on quarterly basis as and when required

· Ensure best practice in monitoring collection and evaluation, including managing GDPR processes, creating appropriate forms, and communicating deadlines and requirements to all staff.

· Operate as the internal first line of support for our CRM system and consequent monitoring reporting tools, to ensure they are accurate, regularly reviewed and procedures documented and continuously improved.

· Prepare impact and distance travelled statistics for our external communications, to support our fundraising efforts.

HR and Payroll Operations

· Deliver on the necessary onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, including complying with on our safer recruitment requirements, creating contracts and contract variation letters, supporting staff with timesheets and other records of work, carrying out pension operations and supporting with interview arrangements.

· Carry out the delivery of the monthly payroll process, including preparation and review of the payroll files, carrying out calculations around overtime pay etc, providing an accurate and well controlled process, and enabling payments to be made on the pay date each month. Processing the payroll journals on a monthly basis
