The Area Service Manager will be responsible for the operation of specialist services that support customers who experience severe, enduring mental health problems based across London Borough of Newham. The role will be providing line management for Team Leaders and Deputy Contract Managers ensuring that compliance with organisational, local authority and legal regulations are adhered to and the quality of services is pushed to the highest standards as possible to ensure excellent quality of life for customers and a good working environment for colleagues.

What you'll do:

Service specific responsibilities:

Proactively pursue development of the service to ensure financial sustainability.
Work closely with Deputy Contract Managers, Team Leaders and Head of Services to understand local priorities and quality of care provided by support workers, jointly addressing issues.
Supervise a management team to deliver Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led services across the borough.
Effective reporting of incidents and safeguarding to Commissioning Team and Mental Health Services
Using sound financial and accounting principles, understand and manage the funding arrangements for the contract ensuring viability and seeking to ensure sustainability
Continuously monitor the performance of the contract using Look Ahead's reporting tools.

General responsibilities:

Plan, organise and prioritise operations within your contract to ensure maximum efficiencies/utilisation of all resources
Develop key business relationships with all relevant customers/carers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities in own patch
Lead quality visits, using Look Ahead's local indicators to monitor quality/performance, set targets and lead action plans to ensure highly rated services that reflect requirements of local funders and local and national standards

Community Fundraisers are remote/hybrid based, with some presence expected at your local office or Hospice, for this role the post holder will work from the Bradford Hospice 2-3 days a week. This isn’t a role where you will be behind a desk every day, a good Community Fundraiser has a willingness to be out and about within your region meeting and supporting fundraisers.

Role Overview: 

You'll be the go-to person for transforming our unique venues – from the Pump House Gallery to the Battersea Park Bandstand and Bowling Green, and the Wandsworth Civic Suite – into dream settings for weddings and private events. The role will also be responsible for proactively selling our wedding spaces and managing enquiries all the way through to event delivery and ensuring that health and safety procedures are adhered to when on-site.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

Sales

• Generate leads, convert enquiries into bookings through quotes and site visits and build strong client relationships along the way
• Collaborate with the Deputy Head of Events and weddings team to create fresh event packages and initiatives that complement existing income streams
• Actively build new sales pipelines by leveraging networks and community connections
• Manage all enquiries in Priava, keeping track of venue availability, quotes and site visits
• Drive revenue growth by exceeding income goals set by the Head of Events
• Occasional evenings and weekend site visits for prospective clients across our venues 

End-to-end Event Management

• Support the Weddings Team in managing customer queries, feedback and delivery
•  Oversee event management ensuring all event paperwork complies with Event Policy requirements
• Ensure events are properly staffed, and staff are fully briefed on client needs
• Liaise closely with the Events Team and other park services to ensure seamless coordination of the entire events program
• Line management of Events Coordinators within the Weddings function and the Events Support Assistant

Event Production

• Support the Head of Events and team with the delivery of Enable-produced events throughout the year
• Assist with the physical setup and dismantling of events. Including managing contractors, suppliers and event equipment
• Create, manage and deliver a program of Community Events Admin and Finance
• Log venue bookings, budgets, and all recorded income in Priava
• Create client invoices, liaise with the Finance Team, and follow up on invoices
• Seek quotes aligned with Enable's Procurement Code and raise purchase orders
• Achieve targeted income through smart booking selection and balancing the needs of public use venues

The International Programme Officer will report to our Global Operations Director and will work closely with personnel and partners in different countries where WW supports development programmes, to ensure the work we support is aligned with WW’s strategy, and that the delivery of our work has impact, is on track and is in line with donor agreements and budgets. 

Specific responsibilities will include:

1. Programme coordination, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning

• Support organisational and programme planning, ensuring alignment with agreed delivery targets, outputs and outcomes.

Purpose and Scope of the Role

The Refugee & Migrant Centre (RMC) are renowned for our work in assisting refugees and migrants through crisis and disadvantage; we remove barriers to integration and help our clients to become equal citizens. · Support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in ensuring strategic workforce planning and change management in alignment with RMC’s overall strategy.

Service Management

· Advising the SLT (CEO, Deputy CEO and Head of Services) and other senior managers on human resources matters and ensure all people managers in the organisation have the necessary skills and support to address complex employment issues e.g. in relation to sickness, performance and disciplinary and grievance processes.

· Leading on ensuring that all human resources policies and processes are adequate and reviewed regularly.

· Overseeing RMC’s performance management framework and advise senior managers on any remedial actions required.

· Ensuring timely and accurate workforce information is available as required for trustees, senior managers and the Finance team (e.g. for payroll purposes).

• A CIPD diploma (Level 7) in HR management

• Numerate, with excellent written skills and experience of producing HR documentation to a high standard, with good attention to detail.

What's in it for you?

Location: Birmingham

Pension: RMC will contribute 3% of gross basic salary

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Reprieve’s small, collaborative and dynamic fundraising team to help manage and grow our grants income, with a focus on trusts and foundations, and statutory donors.

You will be responsible for securing new grants, facilitating grant management in line with donor requirements, and leading on the preparation of accurate and compelling reports and communications.

You will also be responsible for prospecting and cultivating new donor relationships, expanding our grants income in a sustainable and considered way. You will join the team at a hugely opportune moment. We are currently developing an income strategy for 2025-2028, which will include new strategies for increasing and diversifying our income, including grants. Reprieve has an extremely healthy mix of restricted to unrestricted income, with only approximately 40% of our income being restricted. This means there is great scope for you to make impact by packaging up existing programmes into new grant applications.

Location, contract and salary

This is a full-time role, permanent contract. The annual salary is £40,964 full-time per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. After 2 years of service, the post-holder can expect to progress to a higher salary in line with Reprieve’s pay scale and salary increase for those on the Officer level.

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 2 days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have theright to work in the UK currently and for the duration of the contract.

The Artswork Professional Development team contributes significantly to Artswork’s income generation and successful reputation. We provide in person, online and asynchronous training for organisations and individuals working within the creative industries and beyond. First Step Trust (FST) is a charity that provides work experience, training and employment opportunities for people excluded from working life because of mental health problems or other disadvantages (workforce members).

Our approach is about giving workforce members the chance to overcome some of the difficulties facing them by getting them involved as colleagues. We provide ‘on the job’ training, advice and support to enable each person to improve their basic skills and knowledge of the various work undertaken. This will include supporting workforce members to gain recognised qualifications and access to work placements with our customers and other organisations.

We are in the process of developing a more formalised training and employment support programme (SMaRT Pathways) particularly, but not exclusively, in the area of the Automotive trade.  SMaRT Pathways will include the delivery of vocational training through the use of various technologies including video, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and other mediums making the learning process more accessible to those who struggle with traditional learning methods due to issues around literacy, numeracy and low levels of self-confidence/anxiety.

Job Role:

The main objective of this post is to enable people with mental health difficulties and other disadvantages (workforce members) to engage with and access open employment.  The EDTW will achieve this by taking responsibility for proactively recruiting people to the project, overseeing their development whilst at the project, including delivery of training courses as and when required and supporting them to move on to employment or further training.

Main duties:

Networking with other services in the area to raise awareness about FST, promoting work placements and training courses as well as promoting the business services.

Recruitment and development of potential workforce members - being proactive in following up on enquires regarding work placements, interviewing potential workforce for work placements at the project.

Employment support – assist workforce looking to move on to paid employment by providing support in job search, CVs and interview preparation. To develop a network of appropriate work placements by building contacts with local employment agencies and employers to ensure access to work for all workforce preparing to move on from FST.

Training – assisting when required, in delivering a variety of courses both in house and recognised qualifications to people with common mental health problems both workforce members and visiting trainees utilising the various technologies as they are developed.

Monitoring and reporting - complete, manage and provide regular, accurate, appropriate and timely reports to agreed deadlines in order to monitor progress.

Office duties – working with workforce members as colleagues ensuring that daily tasks are completed in a timely fashion.

The role is varied and interesting, with some regular routine tasks and some unusual requests that will require problem solving skills. You will support IPEM’s day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes. This role involves administrative tasks, coordination, and communication to help optimise the operational workflow. You will need to be organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy.

The role will primarily be based in our offices in York, but some travel within the UK may be required from time to time. IPEM promotes flexible working for staff.
