Working closely with the Head of Innovation and Assessment and our grant and venture teams, you will help ensure that Ufi is informed about and is applying new technologies to deliver Ufi’s grant funding and partnership activities.
With colleagues and external partners, you will help co-ordinate grant calls, administer the VocTech Ignite programme and become a source of internal expertise on the potential of new technologies. You will be working with colleagues across Ufi to support the early stages of the grant and support pipeline, including assessment and the VocTech Ignite programme. This will require engagement with the Ufi pool of expert support and the Ufi assessors, ensuring that the right match of skills can support each grant cohort. In addition, you will be bringing your enthusiasm for technology, particularly the technology that supports learning and skills, to the wider team and helping to strengthen the in-team expertise.
This is a responsible, fast-paced role. Creativity and enthusiasm supported by practical delivery skills are essential.

WorkWell is an exciting new government/DWP initiative to get people back to work. As well as providing work placement support, it will also address and support any physical or mental health needs via a Mental Health Provider and Physical Health Advisor who form part of the team. The pilot in Surrey will be going live in December and aims to empower people to take control of their health, wellbeing and any impacts this is having on their employment. That’s where you come in.
This front-line management role comes with responsibility for the day-to-day management of staff and supporting the Service Lead with the running of the service to ensure we provide recovery focused delivery. Seeing that operational KPIs, outcomes, utilisation and voids, etc., are met will be vital too, as will ensuring data entry to MI & reporting systems is accurate, timely and in line with quality assurance requirements. Preparing information and reports, leading on positive risk management practice within service/location(s), ensuring timely reporting of incidents and accidents and generally acting as an ambassador in representing Waythrough – all are part and parcel of this attractive new role.
To succeed, you’ll need a relevant professional qualification, e.g. QCF/NVQ minimum level 3 (or be working towards/willing to obtain one), substantial experience of working with a housing and social care background and of managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs. The Estate Officer will ensure the delivery of the regional maintenance programme, comprising routine, periodic, planned and urgent works, and the delivery of time limited maintenance consultancy and estate management projects. Working alongside the Conservation Projects Manager, the post holder will ensure regional estate compliance with CCT policies.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Delivery of Spear Programme
- As a coach you will support Spear centres in London and across the UK by preparing and coaching Spear Foundation group sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
- Quickly building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture and attitudes in the training room.

Spear Centre Support

- You will be placed where the support is needed most, working peripatetically across centres. This could look like 2 months based in one centre or various weeks working across different centres both in London and across the UK.
Trainee recruitment

· Working alongside the Director of Finance, support the preparation of budgets for tenders and fundraising.
· Ensure all our income generation activity is compliant with fundraising governance and legislation, including GDPR, PECR, and the Code of Fundraising Practice, and ensure our systems and processes (including the database and reporting) are compliant and fit for purpose in Business Development.

A little bit about the role
This role will be closing at 12pm on Thursday 14 November.
This role will sit within the Fellowship team, within the wider external relations directorate, and be managed by the Fellowship and engagement lead, supported by our chief social worker and a steering group of staff and trustees. This will ensure that we are connecting fellows – social workers who have completed one of Frontline’s programmes – to our young people’s work. The postholder will also have strong links with our communications and fundraising teams, which also sit within the external relations directorate.
The postholder will shape and grow all our work with and for young people with experience of social work, ensuring all involved have a positive experience. Our goal is to improve social work by listening to the needs of children and young people with lived experience. By involving them in all aspects of our work, we can make social work more effective and responsive for vulnerable children and families across England
We are seeking a dedicated professional who excels in youth-centred social work, with hands-on experience supporting young people aged 14-25. You will understand the unique challenges they face, especially those with care experience, and have insight into relevant social care policies. Working collaboratively with senior leadership, you will support inclusive, cohesive programme delivery.
The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and strategic relationship builder who prioritises youth voices and partnership. Skilled in managing complex workloads and securing funding, you will also bring a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and using technology to enhance impact.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Bringing individuals with care and social work experience together, helping them to have a bigger influence on Frontline's mission to create social change for vulnerable children without a safe and stable home.
- Leading and growing the young people’s advisory board, recruiting and inducting new members.
- Developing a programme of activities for the young people’s advisory board and other experts by experience which includes quarterly meetings, day sessions and residentials each year.
- Collaborating with the Fellowship team to aid the development of future opportunities available fellows, using insights, voices and experiences from young people directly.
- Developing a mentoring programme for all of Frontline’s experts by experience through our Fellowship.

A little bit about you
This role will suit an experienced leader who is passionate about empowering young people with lived experience and integrating their perspectives into impactful social work. The hiring panel will be looking for candidates who demonstrate a deep commitment to inclusive leadership, strong coordination skills across diverse teams, and a proven ability to build meaningful engagement with young people and stakeholders.
We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. The Joshua Tree is recruiting for a newly created Family Support Team Leader who will be responsible for managing a team of Family Support Workers, coordinating a full range of emotional, health and wellbeing and outdoors support to benefit families affected by childhood cancer across North Wales.

Project Officer
Salary:£18,000p.a. pro-rata (£30,000p.a. FTE)

We are seeking a dynamic and friendly project officer to oversee the day-to-day delivery of a community engagement and behaviour change campaign in Kirklees.
This 12 month project, reporting in to the project manager is a partnership between food and drink manufacturers, local government and our charity.
Working in a busy marketing and communications team, the project officer will work to understand and engage local communities through research, engage community leaders to adopt and amplify our campaign and understand the impact of our work, and work with stakeholders on the ground. You will organise events, materials, reports and updates, but first and foremost, you will be the face of our charity within the community.
This is an exciting role within a fast-paced charity. You will have a proven track record in community/ grass roots engagement, event management and all round organisation.
