About the role
Imperial is looking for a Regular Giving Officer (Mid-value and Telephone Campaigns) to join their successful Regular Giving and Legacy Giving team. This is a diverse role with plenty of opportunities for development and learning in a higher education setting, excellent experience if you currently work in the charity sector and would like to expand your knowledge.
The Regular Giving programme seeks philanthropic support from alumni and friends and this role will focus on raising money from telephone campaigns, and donors who are able to give at mid-level. Regular Giving mainly raises money to support students who struggling financially through hardship funds, the bursary and scholarships.
What you would be doing
The Regular Giving and Legacy Giving team at Imperial is a high-performing team, with a well-established, successful programme that is looking to implement new strategies to keep growing. This role is vital to continue that success by focusing on two key areas of growth for the team – telephone campaigns and mid-level giving. The post-holder will be responsible for implementing the strategy for these areas as well as the day-to-day work.
In this role, you will also represent and promote the mid-value giving programme across Advancement building relationships with Faculty fundraisers to ascertain giving opportunities below £25,000.
You will partner with the Regular Giving and Legacy Giving Manager to manage a large portfolio of mid-level supporters using mail and email as well as face to face fundraising. You will be responsible for managing the newly-rolled out mid-level giving club, Imperial Ionic.
What we are looking for

Accountabilities
DAY TO DAY DELIVERY OF EVENTS
- Responsible for the overall administration of all student events, ensuring student communication is exceptional. Including event management (covering agenda creation and resource/activity development), student and partner communication/coordination, along with posting opportunities and roles in the weekly newsletter.
STUDENT MANAGEMENT & QUERY HANDLING
- Responsible for the relationship management of the students - including the ability to understand needs, resolve issues, and anticipating and creating a strong relationship on behalf of SEO-London
- Responsible for managing student query escalations and to identify where there are opportunities to improve communication, marketing, or the type of events
- Responsible for managing the programme inboxes (where applicable)
- Responsible for identifying creative and innovative ways to connect, educate and train students
- Provide oversight of higher education applications, CV support, screening, and recruitment preparation
- Responsible for attending campus/school careers events and representing SEO-London professionally with knowledge and enthusiasm
- Organise mentoring and buddying allocations
QUALITY ASSURANCE
- Responsible for ensuring that all information relating to the events and student data is managed within the GDPR guidelines and is updated in Salesforce effectively for tracking purposes.

About the role:
In this role you will help identify potential donors to our academic research projects on pressing issues such as climate change, early years education and social inequality. About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a creative and ambitious Fundraising and Communications Officer.
As our reach and impact has increased significantly in recent years, so has our income, and this new role has been created in response to that demand. This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraiser who wants to widen, or consolidate, their knowledge and experience of fundraising, in an international context, as well as gain communications experience.
We are a very small team so the role will cover a breadth of funding streams, with a particular focus on Trusts and Foundations, High Value Donors, and Events, both special and community. It is therefore important that you have excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and solid experience of crafting successful funding applications. You will also need excellent planning and organisational skills.
The role can, to some extent, be shaped by the skills and experience of the successful candidate, but it is likely to include the following responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Steward, retain and grow the support of our existing donor portfolio: KHULA has an existing portfolio of donors including trusts, foundations, corporates, major donors, individual and regular givers, the majority of whom are based in the UK or South Africa. Alongside the Director of Fundraising and Communications, the post holder will be responsible for managing these relationships, including bespoke reporting for trusts and major donors and taking responsibility for their own portfolio of donors.
- Donor prospecting and new business: researching and generating new donor leads as well as acting on opportunities provided by our Board and others, converting prospects into supporters of our programmes.
- External communications: working alongside the Director of Fundraising and Communications, assisting in the creation of our quarterly e-newsletter and the Annual Report, managing our social media channels, in addition to other ad hoc external communications.
- Events: supporting our community and events fundraisers and assisting with the organisation of occasional special events, alongside Board members.
- Fundraising innovation: assisting in the development of creative campaigns to increase donations/recruit lapsed donors, developing products and offerings.
- Financial management and admin: maintaining our donor database and contributing to fundraising budgets and forecasts.
Person Specification
Experience of working in a smaller charity and team is beneficial as this is a very hands-on role, covering a wide range of responsibilities.

- A proven, demonstrable track record of submitting successful funding applications.
- Experience in successfully fundraising from one or more of trusts, foundations, high value donors and corporates.

Accountabilities
There are three main activities within the France team:

The Programme Coordinator will serve as the administrative officer for the team. We are looking for a Casework Administrator to work as part of the Casework Support Team offering excellent
customer service to stakeholders and cover administrative functions within the organisation.

Location: Reading/hybrid

About the Role
The primary focus of the role is to provide casework support. This will include being the point of contact for students and will require the successful applicant to maintain accurate records on the progress of complaints through our review process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Casework administration, including handling emails and telephone enquiries from complainants and educational institutions, determining what response is required and responding where appropriate
- Logging complaints forms
- Conducting an assessment of eligibility of complaints for review and notifying students of the outcome

About You
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including on the telephone. Customer Service experience including dealing with a volume and variety of telephone enquiries and a general understanding of complaints handling would be beneficial.

Salary: £26,400
Job Location: 3 days based at a School in Greenwich, 2 days working from home.
The charity’s mission is to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds to access top universities, through a unique combination of tuition and in-school mentoring. The University Access Officer mentors GCSE students, delivering group workshops, mentoring and coaching them on how to access and transition to university.
This is an exciting opportunity to foster mentoring relationships with students who will likely be encountering such support for the first time. This allows for early intervention, guiding the students to make decisions which will lead to successful and fulfilling choices at a top third university. The University Access Officer is in a position to open up a world of opportunities to the students which is extremely rewarding.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with students in school and enrolling them onto the programme
- Matching students with volunteer tutors
