At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer.
We are looking for a Fundraising Performance Analyst to support on the reporting and analysis for some of Cancer Research UK's most high-profile fundraising products. You will work closely with the Senior Performance Manager to analyse data, develop reports, and help form insight which will be key in shaping the future of activities such as our Facebook social challenges, DIY fundraising events and Stand Up to Cancer, raising ~£40m annually.
This role is not a traditional Performance Analyst role, as it sits within a Product Team. We are looking for someone who has strong data and Excel technical skills but wants to use them to improve the performance of products which are so vital to raising funds for our life saving research.
You will be a strong communicator who enjoys building relationships with a variety of stakeholders and has demonstrated strong business acumen in whatever sector you have experience in. You do not need previous fundraising or marketing experience, and this role would suit someone from an insight or quantitative market research background who is looking for a new role which makes a difference.
What will I be doing?
Maintain and develop reports, dashboards and visualisations to track key fundraising metrics to monitor in campaign performance and longer-term trends, developing data-led recommendations for product optimisation
Analyse campaign performance data to understand supporter behaviours and income trends and model campaign projections
Be an active member of the product workstream meetings - updating on the performance of fundraising campaigns and using this to provide evidence-based recommendations to functional delivery teams.
Support Product colleagues in making key decisions and develop longer-term product strategy by sharing insights gathered from stakeholders, market insights and in-flight testing
Ensure that reports and insights are communicated to stakeholders in a way that drives impact and influence.
Hold a thorough understanding of the relevant databases for each product area and oversee dashboard reporting, working closely with the Insight and Analysis team to facilitate accurate product performance

A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.
Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.
We are seeking a capable Peer Supporter who will support parents at Homerton Hospital and at various community settings in Hackney. This role will mainly be based between Homerton hospital and out in the community (expenses will be reimbursed).
About the Role
You will be responsible for offering infant feeding support for parents within Homerton Hospital and the community. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Providing breastfeeding support to families on the wards at Homerton hospital and community settings within Hackney.
· Support in delivering inductions for volunteer peer supporters.
· To report any concerns or additional support needs of women to the NCT management team and/or Infant Feeding Lead for referral onto partner agencies as appropriate.
· To attend regular supervision/support sessions.
· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hackney area and ensuring all support is accessible and inclusive.
· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.
You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.
Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires experience of giving breast milk. The training can be undertaken within your working hours.
The role is 21 hours per week which will be predominantly Monday to Friday within the working day, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This role is mainly based at Homerton Hospital and at community settings across Hackney.

The Philanthropy and Partnerships team at Impetus is a friendly, driven team that is passionate about building fantastic relationships with a variety of funders that lead to meaningful outcomes for the young people we serve. The Head of Engagement role sits within the wider Philanthropy and Partnerships team, working alongside colleagues driving forward philanthropic income generation and donor retention. About this role
We’re looking to recruit an experienced individual who will lead on the donor engagement for all Impetus donors. This person will bridge the gap between our funders and the work we do with organisations in our portfolio and other partners to transform the lives of young people.
They will be primarily responsible for leading and delivering engagement through volunteering activities, and through this securing ongoing support for Impetus’s work. The role is strategic, working in close collaboration with our Investment team to first identify suitable volunteering opportunities via our portfolio partners and then working in close collaboration to deliver opportunities which closely align with the aims of our funders. Our volunteering activities span online CV workshops through to in-person Insight Days, work experience and beyond. The volunteering programme is a vital component of our stewardship offer to our donors, who seek opportunities to meet and support the young people that Impetus serves through the organisation in its portfolio.
The postholder will also support the Head of Engagement (Pro Bono) to enable Impetus to source pro bono support from corporate partners. The role line manages a Philanthropy Officer who facilitates the day-to-day running of volunteering events with partners.
Key responsibilities
Volunteering
- Manage and deliver c.50 online and in person meaningful volunteering activities a year via Impetus portfolio partners.
- Through this delivery of c.50 activities, support the management of Impetus’s funding partnerships, including Corporates, Individuals and Grant Making Trusts, to ensure donors are engaged with Impetus’s work and continue to support.
- Lead meetings (online and in person) with funders to identify their volunteering needs and drive forward engagement opportunities.
- Liaise closely with the Impetus Investment team and organisations in our portfolio to build relationships and craft the planning and delivery of a high-quality programme of volunteering sessions.
- Deliver new strategic opportunities to advance our volunteering programme, including the set-up and initial delivery of a new mentoring programme.
- Identify other new donor engagement opportunities through relationships with our portfolio, expanding the range of opportunities available to donors in response to need and availability.
- Craft relevant communications and collateral for the volunteering programme, alongside Development Directors and the Communications team.
- Ensure all communications with external stakeholders are prompt, clear and compelling.
- Work closely with account managers to ensure effective stewardship over the course of donors’ annual giving cycles, strategically advising on when to hold and host volunteering opportunities.
- Lead on the data analysis of the volunteering programme, regularly feeding back to the Development Director and Investment team in written, verbal and presentation form.
- Ensure the systems and processes around volunteering are maintained and up to date, as well as ensuring the effective use of Salesforce to hold key data.
- Line manage the Philanthropy Officer and oversee their work plan and development.
- Be prepared to travel across London to deliver volunteering events at corporate partner premises.
- Come into the London office two times per week.
- Attend Philanthropy team events outside of work hours including our evening Summer Party; our Saturday Triathlon; and our evening Transforming Lives Dinner. These are in London and outside of London.
Pro Bono
- Support the Head of Engagement (pro bono) in delivering new pro bono partners, including supporting the research of new partners and attending meetings (where necessary) to build new Pro Bono relationships.
- Working alongside the Head of Engagement (pro bono) and the Investment team, to source external support for pro bono projects. You may also support in monitoring the delivery of these projects and reviewing the quality of execution.
- Support in the stewardship of existing pro bono partners including leading appropriate meetings or Lunch and Learn sessions.
- Record all pro bono contacts and projects within Salesforce database.
Other

Essential
- Experience of running a volunteering or membership programme and familiarity with the fundraising landscape, including a good understanding of the corporate donor marketplace.
- Exceptional project management experience, with the ability to devise donor engagement plans and use project/account plans, budgets, and other financial information.
- Proven experience of maintaining and developing excellent relationships and partnerships with a range of stakeholders, each with different needs.
- Ability to proactively seek and originate new business and activities whilst maintaining and developing existing networks.

About the Administrator
At the National Garden Scheme a small central office with a team of 13 is the hub for a wide range of activity involving hundreds of volunteers, thousands of garden owners and a large audience of beneficiary charities, suppliers, supporters and partners, and members of the public who want to visit gardens and engage with the charity.
The administrator is the first point of contact for many of these, being responsible for answering the main telephone line and managing the general email inbox. They are also responsible for managing the office environment on behalf of their colleagues.
In normal years, they also carry out the administration of certain annual events and projects including our annual lecture and presence at the Chelsea Flower Show.
The right candidate ideally will have some experience as an administrator or receptionist and will be comfortable in a busy, hands-on and varied role. The Fundraising Officer - Events role sits in the Events team. This team is responsible for a portfolio of third party organised sports events - such as London Marathon, Tough Mudder, Cardiff Half and skydives - that will raise more than £4.5 million in the next financial year.

Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
-Steward event participants; this could include undertaking welcome calls, sending supporter communications, providing ongoing fundraising support, following up non-payments, personalised thanking, and supporter surveys. This can be done across a range of channels including mail, email, and telephone, online and face to face.
-Attend events to help enhance our supporters experience and deepen their relationship with Mind.
-Work with the Senior Fundraising Officer to deliver events fundraising activity. Who we are looking for
Ygam is seeking an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser, or individual with transferable skills, to join our tight-knit and ambitious team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to use your communication skills and initiative to manage and develop a pipeline of trusts and foundations income, spotting. fundraising opportunities and developing relationships with potential donors. By writing proposals and managing a calendar of applications to trusts and foundations, you will not only hone your communication skills, bid writing experience, and administrative abilities, but also make a tangible impact on our mission to Safeguard our Digital Generation.
You will:

manage and grow a portfolio of small to medium trusts and foundations, increasing income by identifying new prospects and through the stewardship of existing donors.

write high quality applications and communicate accurately and transparently on the progress made with donors’ funds.

work with our programme experts to develop expertise in key programme areas and build your knowledge of Ygam’s work.

support with applications and reports to large funders, corporates and other associated fundraising activity.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, professional, and organised, with a knack for research. This role suits an ambitious self-starter with excellent IT, research, communication, writing and administration skills. Main Role & Responsibilities
The overall purpose of this role is to support the Head of Fundraising in establishing a robust trusts and foundations income stream as part of Ygam’s new Income Generation strategy, which underpins the organisation’s ambitious aims and objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in diversifying our range of income streams to ensure financial health for the future of the charity, underpinned by sustainable and ethical fundraising models.
You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of organisations, including trusts and foundations. By developing and maintaining a calendar of applications, submitting compelling applications and managing successful grants, you will gain invaluable experience in strategic fund development. You will also play a key role in developing cases for support and building relationships with funders to strengthen the chance of bid success in both the short and medium term.
