The Service Manager will directly link in with both the Head of Partnerships for WithYou and the Sector Manager, as lead providers, to ensure clear communication and a mutually agreed delivery of service. As Service Manager, you will be responsible for collaboratively leading the team to ensure a high level of performance by meeting targets and KPIs set, whilst creating a supportive and inclusive environment for our staff team. This post requires excellent leadership skills to work innovatively and confidently, supporting staff in high performing recovery work, overseeing quality assurance and safeguarding and with the capacity to work within competing demands and tight timescales.
Safeguarding those we provide our services to, sharing your concerns and putting the right interventions in place is key to the success of this role. You will work with a dedicated team of people, building strong relationships with other agencies to deliver the comprehensive support needed by those using our services. You will lead your team, providing development and clear direction aligned with the organisational aims and be a strong advocate for WithYou externally, maintaining and building our profile as you go.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.

We’re open to discussions with candidates working in leadership roles outside of the drug and alcohol arena - for example, in mental health or housing. We’re most interested in your ability to demonstrate motivational leadership skills, with the drive to promote staff development and retention. You will have experience of managing a team covering a wide range of projects and interests. You will know what it takes to set up and manage a project and ensure it meets the intended outcomes.
You will be skilled in managing group dynamics and supporting your team to have boundaries with clients. You will also have experience of managing Safeguarding issues. Above all you must bring a positive, solution focused attitude.
Experience of campaigning work, with a track record of delivering innovative digital campaigns that have led to real change, would be an advantage.

Richmond AID offers 25 days annual leave plus eight bank holidays pro rata. Normal office hours are 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays. We have been part of the wider Debt Free Advice partnership for over a decade and have success in delivering high quality debt advice to local residents who are facing financial difficulties. We are seeking an experienced debt advice caseworker who has a proven track record in helping and assisting clients facing financial difficulties and providing creative solutions to help alleviate their challenges in a sensitive and supportive role. They will have an awareness of having successfully provided debt advice in a regulated environment.
The successful candidate would be expected to work a hybrid model of delivery - in an office environment, outreach sessions as well as home based. They would be expected to provide advice via omni-channels such as face to face, telephone and email advice.
Main responsibilities:
To provide over-indebted Londoners with free, face-to-face/telephone advice that is accurate, effective and tailored to individuals’ circumstances. This includes:
● Provide case work covering the full range of debt - Interviewing those that access our service using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.
● Researching and exploring options and implications so that those accessing our service can make informed decisions.
● Ensuring income maximisation through the appropriate take up of income, including those relating to water charges, benefits, tax and housing.

The Role
As the Team Manager, you will support the Service Manager in overseeing aspects of the delivery of our LXP team. About You
We are looking for a Team Manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in mental health, wellbeing, and behaviour change work with adults. You will also have experience in managing a complex service which involves multiple partners and services with vulnerable people.
You will also have:
- Relevant management qualification and or relevant management experience for the role.
- Experience in managing incidents, risk and/or safeguarding.
- Experience in managing staff and volunteers effectively.
- To work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (statutory and voluntary).
- An understanding of confidentiality, consent, and information sharing, including GDPR.
- An understanding of Safeguarding policy and practice.
- Good communication and writing skills and a commitment to accurate and confidential record keeping.
- Ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues and other professionals whilst retaining clear boundaries.
- Ability to work to all the policies, procedures and standards of the service and joint working arrangements with statutory and voluntary sector partners.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of our current events strategy & delivery model, building appropriate supporter journeys for all event participants/attendees, whilst providing outstanding customer service
- Develop and execute participant recruitment plans to meet registration targets.
- You will have a good understanding of effective marketing channels and digital advertising campaigns for driving participation
- Ensure that events remain within budget and that expenditure is monitored continuously and income targets are met.
- Manage the continual review of the challenge event portfolio.
- Selection & development of our UK & overseas challenge events portfolio
- Begin to design a strategy for creating & building our own events.
- Review and develop where necessary appropriate materials for events.
- To set the strategy and budgets for Events, short and long-term in partnership with line manager.
- Work with our Safeguarding and Health and Safety Managers to ensure events are safe.
Person Specification
- Experience of running successful challenge event programmes.
- Experience in both in person and virtual event management.
- Manage a team with multiple responsibilities to exceed KPI’s and income targets.
- Experience in due diligence of event suppliers and excellent risk management skills.
- The ability to think strategically and take data-driven decisions as well as work operationally to get things done.

The Diocese of Durham is seeking an innovative, proactive and strategic leader with a passion for reaching and discipling emerging generations to take on a key new role in the Diocesan team.
As Growing Younger Strategic Lead, you will work collaboratively to enable the delivery of the Growing Younger stream of the Diocesan Transformation programme, with a specific focus on building mission and discipleship pathways for 0-25s, growing missional chaplaincy in FE colleges and schools, and raising up new youth and children’s leaders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of the Growing Younger strategy through leading the Growing Younger team, encouraging the development of mission and ministries appropriate to context and challenge, and being an advocate for the vision for transformation throughout the Diocese.
The successful candidate must:
