Working as part of our committed and expanding team, your main role will be supporting the advice team with triaging client contact over the telephone, online and face to face. We will provide you with full training and supervision to carry out your role.
Purpose of the role:
· Triage all client enquiries and referrals received via the helpline, email enquiries and drop in callers Provide administrative support to team advisers.
· To support clients with form completion – online or paper based.
· To support the Information and Advice Service (Later Life Planning Service / Dementia Adviser team)
You will be the first point of contact for our clients, whether that be by email, telephone or face to face.
We will provide training and support to help you develop your skills and become an efficient navigator onto other specialised services.

Responsibilities of our Deputy Centre Manager:
As Deputy Centre Manager you will be tasked with managing our established Centre in line with Cats Protection’s main aims of homing, neutering and educating. You will ensure the welfare of all cats in our care and ensure that all administrative and maintenance procedures are completed to a high standard that is in keeping with our vision. A flexible approach to working hours including the ability to work weekends will be required as all centre employees are expected to work 50% of weekends and some evenings.
What we’re looking for in our Deputy Centre Manager:
- Supervisor/team leader experience, ideally within an animal welfare environment or organisation
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of the prevention and control of infectious diseases in cats
- A driven, positive and enthusiastic individual with plenty of initiative and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Experience of managing a diverse team
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- A full UK, manual or automatic driving licence as you may on occasion be required to drive centre vans

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Worthing shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.
About you
You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. You’ll also need to showcase a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and have a creative eye for displays. What we’re looking for:
- You’re passionate about customer service with excellent communication skills both written and verbal, being resilient with a positive and can-do-attitude.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring community safety and supporting the wellbeing of residents, with a particular focus on helping vulnerable residents and families and engaging and working with them in the management of their homes and neighbourhoods.
