The Role
The Supporter Journey Team is responsible for delivering world-class behavioural journeys for our charity partners.
You will ensure that we are continuously providing the best supporter journeys in the sector by designing, building, delivering and optimising omni-channel behavioural journeys at scale, in turn delivering value to our clients.
Working across both Social Mind and Social Sync, you will join an existing team reporting into our Campaign Manager and you will ensure all our charity partners and their supporters receive personal, bespoke communications to maximise fundraising for our charity partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development:
- Develop comprehensive, integrated journeys for supporters across multiple channels.
- Ensure these journeys are behavioural and provide a great stewardship experience for supporters.
- Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of supporter journeys.
- Analyse key metrics to assess the contribution of these journeys to overall goals, for example, email open and click through rates.
- Optimisation and Supporter Experience:
- Identify areas for improvement within existing journeys.
- Propose and implement enhancements based on testing and learning outcomes.
- React to key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint opportunities for journey improvements to help drive campaign performance and income.
- Make data-driven decisions to refine and improve the journeys.
- Commit to delivering a high-quality experience for all supporters.
- Address and resolve any issues impacting supporter satisfaction promptly.
Skills and Knowledge
- Experience of designing, creating and delivering outstanding supporter experiences that increase engagement, fundraising rates and average value.
- Ability to understand our charity partners objectives and translating that into exceptional supporter experiences at scale.
- Ability to analyse data and make recommendations that improve fundraising and the supporter experience.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience of writing stewardship copy and ability to adopt different charity’s tone of voice.
- Experience of using communication software.
- Be comfortable operating in a fast paced start up environment, working efficiently at pace with available resources.
- Basic understanding of Charity Law, Data Protection Law, The Fundraising Code of Practice, and other relevant marketing and fundraising standards across the UK

About this role:
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Communications and Policy Manager will support SIB’s track record of sector, government and media engagement, notably the high standard of publication set through its media partnerships with Tortoise and the Financial Times, its contributions to the policy landscape in the social sector, and its in-house data analysis and insight generation. This new post will contribute to SIB’s ongoing communications and policy work and its reach and influence.
Key responsibilities
1. Support the delivery of a comprehensive plan for our communications and policy activity, combining ongoing promotional communications, specific activities for funds and programmes, and proactively generated content and opportunities to influence
2. Co-ordinating with SIB partners in developing and delivering communication work, on major projects such as the Youth Investment Fund, the Recovery Loan Fund and the Enterprise Development Programme; ensuring that it is powered by data and customer insight of the highest quality
3. Keeping track of policy developments in areas of strategic importance to SIB, notably in social investment, youth, community energy and infrastructure investment. Writing briefings on key policy developments related to SIB’s strategic priorities, proactively identifying opportunities to further our policy agenda; also researching and preparing responses for relevant external consultations, using SIB data and evidence
4. Identifying, cultivating and maintaining relationships and partnerships with key policy, research and communications stakeholders
5. Attending and providing oversight to the Social Investment Forum, as part of SIB’s secretariat and hosting
6. Writing, editing and producing engaging and relevant content at pace for web, social media and e-newsletters, as well as earned and paid channels
7. Management of any external suppliers of communications and policy activities, including agencies, designers, consultants and think tanks
8. Working with the Marketing Manager, Marketing and Events Coordinator, Business Development Manager and wider team to deliver successful external events with customers, stakeholders and partners including attendance at Party Conferences.

About the Role

You will also work with our web-designer to ensure the website is kept up to date and the annual charity report and return are prepared and submitted on-time.

Main Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be a core member of the Central Team, working closely with the Marketing Team to develop and deliver the income stream for the charity with fundraising strategies that support StreetVet’s mission. This role will have budgetary responsibility and will involve building a donor database, donor and fundraiser stewardship, organising fundraising events, and securing grants and sponsorships.

The StreetVet Central Team is a small but agile team of just eleven employees, working alongside its legion of veterinary volunteers, so we expect the successful candidate to be a self-starter with a “can do” attitude, lots of energy and drive and a want to make a big difference.

Responsibilities:
Fundraising Management and Development
• Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement a balanced and realistic fundraising strategy, which builds on StreetVet’s strengths and maximises income for the charity.
• Deliver an integrated fundraising programme, which includes corporate partnerships, individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations, legacies, community and events.
• Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR and relevant fundraising regulation and that all data is accurate and maintained efficiently.
• Work with colleagues across StreetVet to proactively identify fundraising opportunities in line with our ethical fundraising policy and procedures, prioritising relationships where our values are aligned and we can achieve the biggest positive net gain for the human/animal bond and animal welfare.
• To maintain and develop the donor CRM platform including building supporter journeys to enhance donor experiences and maximise income for the charity.
• Work with the Head of Marketing to ensure that all opportunities to promote StreetVet and develop our fundraising and supporter engagement experiences are explored and maximised.
• Manage all aspects of finance and reporting relating to fundraising, including annual budgets, monthly reporting and re-forecasting. Provide monthly reports and updates on all fundraising activities and income streams
• Work with the Head of Marketing, internal colleagues and external stakeholders to create impactful storytelling and supporter engagement opportunities to maximise revenue streams.

We are currently recruiting for a Network Manager to work with girls in schools in north and central London. This role will involve working with, schools and corporate partners to ensure that we deliver impact for the girls and young women we serve.

Young people from lower income families are 40% less likely to go to University than wealthier peers (Dept for Education, 2020) which can have a lifelong impact on earning potential. Covid-19 has deepened inequalities (Social Mobility Foundation, 2022) and negatively impacted on young people's wellbeing (GirlGuiding, 2020). We believe that no girls should have their futures limited by their gender, sex, ethnicity, background, or parental income and they should be supported to realise their ambitions, to discover their self-worth, and to develop their capacity to shape their world and their futures.
We work in communities of least advantage across England to deliver two core programmes to achieve this vision. Through our mentoring programme we connect 14-19 year old girls with a mentor and a wider network of role models who are women and deliver opportunities which help them to build life skills and nurture their ambitions. Based on the idea that 'you can't be what you can't see', our mentors often help girls to broaden their horizons and create a more positive vision of their futures. After the programme, the mentees can join a free, lifelong network of support - our Ambassador Community, which offers further opportunities to reach their goals, build their confidence and to share their voices and experiences.
Our programmes help girls and young women to develop the knowledge, skills, self-belief and opportunities to thrive, and to be supported as part of a network that champions them and ensures their voices are heard.
THE ROLE
This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 13 staff based throughout the UK. There is a small team of three based in the London. You will work closely and collaborate with the other Network Managers and share some priorities across the region, working to develop the region as a whole. The purpose of this role is to facilitate good relationships between the mentors and mentees in the region. 70-80% of the role is about relationship building (with schools, mentors and partners), coordination and the tracking/ administration of those relationships. 15-20% of the role is direct delivery with the girls in the region. You will play a crucial role setting up our 121 mentoring programmes, liaising with schools, recruiting mentors and ensuring that we have the right mentors for the mentees on programme. You will also deliver our workshop programme within the area.
Mentoring programme
- Manage overall success of the cohorts (groups of mentees and mentors) in your region, including coordinating and administering events and communications for cohorts in your area.
- Deliver engaging on-boarding sessions for mentees.
- Deliver events and workshops for mentees.
- Deliver matching of mentees and mentors at in-person events or virtually.
- Work with the wider programme team to train mentors.
- Support mentors once matched through regular check-ins, monthly emails and ad-hoc conversations.
- Collect data to track the progress, and impact of, mentoring relationships.
- Support mentors with safeguarding concerns, following The Girls’ Network. process in line with our child protection policy.

Role overview
The Data and Insight Manager will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating quality and impact across our mentoring programmes. The postholder will work closely with our Programme Managers to build evaluation frameworks that reflect our partners’ objectives and support the delivery team to plan projects that deliver on the partners’ target outcomes. The postholder will lead on analysing end of project survey data, drawing insights and recommendations and using these to write and deliver end of project evaluation reports. Role overview
The Senior Programme Manager will lead our delivery team and work closely with the Partnership Manager to ensure that we’re designing and delivering mentoring projects that meet our partner objectives. The postholder will line-manage key staff in the delivery team, delegate programme activity and oversee quality across our portfolio. The postholder will be accountable for engagement across our portfolio and for ensuring we meet targets and key performance indicators set by our partners for project outcomes.
The postholder will also lead the delivery of Brightside Mentoring, our London based mentoring project that’s currently funded until 31 December 2025. Following the successful application of a National Lottery award, we are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Peer Support Group Development Officers to set up and sustain local peer support groups for people living with and affected by prostate cancer. These roles focus on building on our established networks to expand peer support in defined areas, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery through strategic outreach and resource development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Group formation and support: Oversee the setup and operation of 10-12 self-sustaining and independent peer support groups within your assigned region across the lifetime of the three-year project. We are seeking a Rehoming Operations Manager – Horse Care & Welfare Specialist to join our mission at Blue Cross, driving the development of our essential horse services within our integrated rehoming network.

As a Rehoming Operations Manager, you will provide direct line management and leadership to our Centre Managers, fostering a culture of performance improvement, development, and empowerment. Your hands-on approach will ensure that quality and standards of pet care are upheld across both on-site and off-site services through regular site visits and data assessment. By identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions, you’ll drive the highest standards of care for our horses.
In this dynamic role, you’ll drive continuous improvement in the throughput and turnaround of horses in our centres while maximising service quality and efficiency. You will facilitate the development of horse-centred care and exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with other Rehoming Operations Managers to enhance our foster and home-to-home services. Your innovative mindset will be crucial in implementing exciting new rehoming opportunities that align with our strategic goals.
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. As the role involves frequent travel, candidates must live within a one-hour commute of either our Burford or Rolleston-on-Dove sites, and be able to travel to other sites as needed.

About you

Your ability to drive performance improvements will be second nature, and you’ll know how to address challenges head-on, ensuring swift and positive outcomes. With strong analytical skills, you’ll approach problems with a clear, methodical mindset, delivering tangible improvements in both operations and team performance.
Knowledge, skills, and experience
- Significant and varied experience of practical horse management
- Horse management / welfare qualifications (BHS stages 4 / Pony club A test / Degree or relevant equivalent experience)
- Significant experience in leading and coaching small and large teams
- Significant operational leadership experience gained in an animal welfare or care environment
- Proven experience in leading teams to drive performance improvements and service development
- Demonstrable experience of leading teams to deliver high standards of customer experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence teams at all levels
- Current full manual driving licence
- The ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our Blue Cross values
Although not essential, it would be great if you also had:
- Media experience and public speaking skills
