The Role:
As our Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing our portfolio of corporate partners and advertisers. Your efforts will help ACEVO generate about 45% of our income, ensuring we continue to support and inspire civil society leaders. You'll be responsible for nurturing existing relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving engagement through partnerships, event sponsorships, and advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Corporate Partnerships
- Maintain and nurture a portfolio of corporate relationships and advertisers.
- Build strong relationships with commercial organisations through extensive phone work and face-to-face meetings.
- Provide relevant engagement opportunities to partners in line with their level of investment.
- Increase engagement, activity, and financial contributions from existing partners.
- Regularly report to partners on ACEVO activities, including membership, policy, and corporate partner engagement.
- Convert in-bound job advertising enquiries into long-term advertisers.
- Produce member newsletters promoting corporate partner services and ACEVO's job services.
- Identify and support corporate partner venues, managing related admin with the events team.
- Represent ACEVO professionally at internal and external events.
- Manage and drive revenue to ACEVO Jobs, our recruitment advertising platform.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in corporate partnerships, account management, or new business development.

Job Role: To promote Forces Employment Charity Ex Forces Programme across the UK and provide employability and employment support for veterans in order that they find appropriate sustainable employment, or another Preferred Vocational Outcome.
The role reports to Ex Forces Employment Manager. This position is permanent Full-time, 35 hours per week, with a salary of £28,325. The successful candidate will be Home based, with local and regional travel. Ex Forces Employment Consultant will spend an average of 30% of their time networking within their region.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Provide advice and guidance to support veterans into employment.
· Develop links with local and regional businesses and business forums to develop relationships with Corporate Mentors and to provide enhanced local level employment opportunities, working collaboratively with Employer Relationship Managers (ERMs).
· Facilitate veterans to access suitable training courses, funding and work placements.
· Post and maintain an exemplar professional LinkedIn profile and engage with appropriate content from FEC and partner organisations.
· Link with local and regional Ex-Armed Forces support agencies initiatives to create a flow of veterans requiring employment support. This will include as a minimum creating working relationships with Armed Forces Charities and DWP and regional Armed Forces Champions (including Armed Forces Covenant groups).
· Contribute to FEC’s online community engaging veterans with the self-help tools and Corporate Mentors.
· Attend all CTP Employment Fairs in your region as an exhibitor. Publicise the role of FEC in supporting veteran employment.
· Co-ordinate with partner charities and refer clients to support as identified by their needs assessment.
· Manage client caseload on our CRM system, in accordance with work instructions.
· Represent the values and professional expertise of FEC to all external audiences.
· The 30% networking time will involve attending partner meetings, employment events and collaboration with other charities/agencies that specialise in support to veterans. The time spent doing this will be captured on our CRM and will be measurable.
· Undertake other actions as required by the Ex-Forces Employment Manager.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Essential Competencies:
· Empathy with Armed Forces personnel and an understanding of the challenges they face.
· Strong networking skills and the enthusiasm and ability to create relationships that will support the work of FEC.
· Motivated self-starter with ability to work largely unsupervised within a multi-disciplinary environment dedicated to achieving successful outcomes for veterans.
· Extensive experience in blended provision of support.
· Clean driving licence and exclusive use of a car.
Desirable Competencies:
· Demonstrable experience of supporting adults into employment.
· Existing network of regional and local organisations who support the Armed Forces Community.

About us
World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to refugees in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people with experience of forced migration through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers refugees face in preparing for, and ultimately finding, work in the UK.
STEP for people seeking asylum is an exciting new specialised programme, working with people in the asylum system by providing high quality advice and guidance and delivering group pre-employability workshops. The post holder will play a pivotal role from the start of this programme in its first year of delivery.
You will prepare participants for employment (where appropriate) and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. You will work to a variety of performance targets based on the progression outcomes of participants such as successful delivery of workshops, completion of training courses, volunteering, and achieving and sustaining paid employment.
The STEP Employment Advisor will work remotely, and can be based anywhere in the UK, however you will need to be able to travel regularly for community outreach, engagement and workshop delivery.
About you
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience or knowledge within the refugee employment sector
- Understanding of the issues and challenges faced by unemployed people seeking asylum when accessing pre-employment activities or employment (when they have the right to work)
- Experience of providing advice and guidance and supervising a caseload of clients
- Experience of designing and facilitating group workshops
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good IT skills (CRM Database, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with clients with varying levels of English
- Competency in a second language desirable e.g. Arabic, Amharic, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Tigrinya, Ukrainian

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to help deliver SSAFA volunteer support to the serving community.
You will work closely with the Serving Community Manager to develop SSAFA’s support to the serving community through its volunteer delivered Serving Community Teams and the Community Volunteering Service.
You will ensure a safe and quality service is delivered by volunteers, and support them from the recruitment and induction stage through to becoming a fully trained volunteer.
You will monitor and review the service, providing feedback on progress and areas of concern as well as statistical data to the Serving Community Manager.
You will provide support and supervision to Community Volunteers and ensure robust recording and handling of beneficiary data in line with SSAFA’s policies and procedures.

You will be part of a small innovative team working together to plan and deliver SSAFA’s support to the serving community, rolling out services which will assist volunteers in helping beneficiaries. You will work with all departments across SSAFA and with external stakeholders to raise awareness of the needs and challenges of the serving community and how SSAFA can help.

We are looking for a highly organised individual to deliver volunteering support to the serving community. You will have a good understanding of the unique issues that the serving Armed Forces community may experience, and knowledge and experience of the charitable sector.
You will have experience of managing volunteers, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish working relationships quickly.
As a proactive and motivated individual, you will have good project management skills in order to prioritise your time, and plan and deliver an exciting new services to the serving community.
