About the role:

This role is based at the Victim Support office in Gloucester (Eastgate House) with travel expected throughout Gloucestershire. We are looking for someone who is YPVA qualified or willing to work towards this qualification.

As the STREET DA CYP Team Leader you will:

• Ensure the delivery of excellent services to victims of crime and retain and develop contracts for services by supporting and managing operational staff
• Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and management team, in order to achieve the implementation of work force plans and the development of the service to maximise positive outcomes for those that access the service
• Proactively promote the service, raise awareness of services & work collaboratively with professionals to improve the access to and quality of services for children & young people.

You will need:

• An understanding of the Criminal justice system and the impact of crime on victims and witnesses
• Proactively promote the service, raise awareness of services & work collaboratively with professionals to improve the access to and quality of services for children & young people.
• An understanding of legislation relating to equal opportunities and diversity, inclusivity, safeguarding and risk assessments
• A practical understanding of the requirement for confidentiality and safe working practice and maintenance of records in accordance with the Data Protection Act and other legal requirements

The Team Leader is responsible for the operational management of our specialist customer focused support services across the service. Working in partnership with stakeholders, external agencies and our Commissioning Team, you lead your Team to offer high quality support to customers who experience severe mental health diagnosis to maintain their tenancies and empower people to live their best lives and move to independence. Responsible for Safeguarding our Customers, you will promote sector best practice and legislative compliance to keep our customers safe within their environment.

The role provides direct line management, leadership, coaching and support to Support Workers, Specialist Support Workers and Night Support Workers, ensuring compliance with current legislation, contractual requirements financial regulations and Look Ahead Policy and Procedures.

This role deputises for the Deputy Contract Manager when required.

This shift pattern for this role is Monday - Friday, 9.00 - 17.00

The Football Foundation are partnering exclusively with Robertson Bell in their search for a permanent Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. The Football Foundation are the Premier League, The FA and the Governments charity that helps communities improve their local football and sport facilities through grants.

This newly created Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for providing key insights to support strategic decision-making, ensuring financial performance aligns with business objectives, and embedding a culture of finance business partnering across the Football Foundation (the charity) and the Premier League Stadium Fund (PLSF). Additionally, the role will oversee strategic financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities across the organisation.

The role:

• Lead and consolidate business partnering in the organisation, ensuring close collaboration with management group, department heads, and other key stakeholders to gather insights and ensure alignment on KPI’s and objectives.
• Lead the preparation and execution of the Foundation’s long-term strategic financial plans and annual budgeting processes in an effective and timely manner.
• Responsible for monitoring and providing the relevant financial information form the various funding agreements with partners.
• Accountable for overseeing the production of the monthly ’performance packs’ and associated information – highlighting key trends, issues, and opportunities as appropriate.
• Foster collaboration across departments to streamline data gathering, analysis, and planning processes.
• Continually look for ways to simplify and standardise the management accounting and budgeting processes, automating as much as possible and avoiding the need to produce “off system” analyses.
• Provide supportive line management and guidance to the Business Partner, ensuring their ongoing development, performance, and alignment with departmental goals. This includes holding regular one-to-one meetings, offering clear guidance, open and constructive feedback, and upholding the Foundation’s Personal Development Review process.

Essential criteria:

• Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or at finalist stage.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting and analysis with confidence in managing large datasets and deriving actionable insights.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, accessible formats tailored to varied audiences.
  • Experienced in developing financial policies, guiding users with clear and practical processes to enhance financial governance.
  • Proven capability in finance business partnering, with knowledge of embedding its principles across an organisation to align financial insights with strategic goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and resolve technical issues independently, ensuring efficient outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency in extracting and analysing complex financial data, uncovering trends and correlations to support informed decision-making.
  • Strong organisational abilities, adept at managing competing priorities within a broad remit, and responding flexibly to changing requirements to ensure seamless operations.

The position will be based at The Football Foundation’s head office at Wembley Stadium and requires 2 visits per week to the office, dependent on business need, in addition to attending two-day all team meet ups each quarter. Thames Chase Community Forest was established in 1990 and covers an area of 98 square miles on the edge of east London and south-west Essex. Thames Chase Trust welcomes around 65,000 visitors per year to the Forest Centre complex. The architecturally acclaimed Visitor Centre is the information hub for the entire Community Forest and includes a cafe, shop, and public toilets. The complex also includes a 17th century barn, original stable block, refurbished Education Room, and farm cottages.

Our dedicated and friendly Forest Centre team seeks to provide the best possible visitor experience and to continue to develop and grow the complex. You will manage volunteers and five members of staff focussed on the Forest Centre complex. The staff team includes four Forest Centre Assistants and one Forest Centre Caretaker. You will be further supported by our Communications and Media Officer, Finance Officer, and Administration Officer. You will also work closely with the Progammes Team whose focus is project delivery across the Community Forest.

Role Description - What will you do?

People

You will bring this spectacular place closer to the hearts of visitors, our local communities and our many partners and you will lead on facilities, retail, catering (outsourced), visitor experience, membership, and volunteer teams. 

You will show initiative in developing the visitor experience through events, guiding, informing, and reinforcing the Thames Chase Plan, brand and values.

You will need to be able to promote the natural and cultural heritage of landscapes.

You will be familiar with the use of professional and social media and will need to be an exceptional communicator and an inspiring manager for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team of staff and volunteers.

You will know just how to get the very best out of everyone and to support and motivate the team. There are set targets for income, and you will be responsible for ensuring that your team meets these.

You will lead the development, integration and delivery of all the visitor facing elements of the Thames Chase Forest Centre complex.

Place

You will work with the Thames Chase Community Forest Director, Deputy Director, your fellow colleagues and with the support of the Board of Trustees, to create a sense of place, a destination venue and a resource that families and visitors will consider as a day’s offer.

You will sensitively maximise the built heritage within the complex, acknowledging that this adds to the sense of place, our culture, heritage, and tradition. In particular, the agricultural heritage of this landscape.

Business

You will support the Thames Chase Community Forest Deputy Director in leading staff and volunteers in developing and growing the income from all aspects of the Forest Centre, to support the work and aims of the Community Forest and provide a quality visitor experience.

To create a robust business plan for the Forest Centre complex that identifies income potential and scope for maximising the diverse facilities on site whilst protecting the built, cultural and natural heritage
