The Head of Operations and Visitor Experience is responsible for the day-to-day operation, ensuring the organisation delivers exceptional customer experiences to all visitors and partners. About the Role

You will be required to

• Actively seek, secure and maintain new long-term commercially viable corporate partnership sales opportunities through networking, direct targeting and via business related social media
• Develop a pipeline of corporate partner prospects in line with the business strategies, goals and objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential corporate partners, through securing and leading new business meetings
• Provide first point of contact and dedicated account management for corporate partners dealing with any queries or new requirements that may arise

What are we looking for?

Purpose of the Collections Care and Conservation Manager role:

We are looking for an experienced Collections Care and Conservation Manager to join the Museum team at an exciting time as we prepare for a major store move and develop vibrant and engaging new exhibitions.

You will manage the development and delivery of collections care and conservation projects and facilities across the three Museum sites as well as a range of activities to ensure the preservation of collections while promoting wider public access to the RAF story and volunteer engagement.

• Lead the collections care and conservation team, integrating staff and volunteers to condition assess, document, clean and conserve objects ranging from aircraft and uniforms to personal papers and art works so they can be shared with audiences on site, offsite and online.

• Ensure the safe, secure, effective and efficient management of the conservation team, volunteers, contractors, conservation materials, equipment and facilities. 
• Ensure an effective balance is made between long-term preservation, restoration and the Museum’s access and interpretation objectives.
• Manage the Collections Disaster Response and Salvage Plan, acting as lead contact in emergencies relating to collections, liaising with the Visitor Experience Supervisors to ensure effective incident management, damage reporting and to support wider emergency planning through the Museum’s Incident Management Plan.
• Support and facilitate the Museum’s commercial activities

What we are looking for in our Collections Care and Conservation Manager:

• Relevant experience in managing, maintaining and conserving museum collections, notably in relation to stored collections, collection moves and exhibition projects.
• Demonstrable experience of implemented collections care in line with professional standards and best practice.
• Communicates in a straightforward manner, demonstrating respect and acting with integrity and impartiality.
• Recognises scope of own authority for decision making and empowers team members to make appropriate decisions.

About You

To be considered as a Skilled Gardener, you will need:

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety
• Good plant knowledge, particularly around shrubs, herbaceous and bulbous plants

 Job purpose 

You will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of the organisation. Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure all financial systems are implemented effectively while ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards. In addition, you will assist the Finance Manager in maintaining a functional and safe office environment in accordance with employment and health and safety laws.

 Financial:

 Accounts Payable

• Manage the day-to-day accounts payable activity to support the organisation's short-term obligations owed to its creditors or suppliers, including but not limited to: 
• Utilise cloud-based software to manage supplier invoice activity.
• Dealing with external creditor and supplier queries. 
• Assisting the Finance Manager with supplier contract renewals.
• Manage and reconcile expense activity across all business cards utilising cloud-based software where appropriate. 
• Resolve accounting discrepancies.

Account Receivable

• Manage the day-to-day accounts receivable activity between the organisation and its clients, customers, and donors, including but not limited to: 
• Process all incoming post and utilise the CRM database to record any fundraising income.
• Ensure cheques are deposited weekly in accordance with finance policy and procedures.
• Ensure accurate billing for goods or services, not including those related to healthcare.
• Reconcile incoming payments against all invoices. 

 Month End and Period End

• Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts by performing activities including but not limited to: 
• Auditing and correcting where necessary the accounting allocation of transactional detail in accounting software. 
• Monitor and audit aged debtors and creditors- correcting errors, reconciling unallocated payments, and chasing missing invoices where needed. 
• Utilise the CRM database to calculate and submit the monthly gift aid return and perform the journal entry into accounting software.

 Payroll Administration

• Collate salary transactional data from payroll reports, update payroll apportionment sheet and prepare journal for entry into accounting software.

 Participate in Finance Audits

• Maintain records at a level which meets the needs of external auditors. Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of document evidence and be on hand to assist during the field week section of the external audit.

• Monitoring office supply levels and replenish where necessary.

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. Job Purpose: A supporting role within WIP’s Monitoring & Evaluation team with a focus on systems administration, user support, data monitoring and gathering of women’s voices

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Hold responsibility for case management user administration and routine technical support

2. Support programmes teams to effectively use the case management system by providing training and guidance

3. Support programme managers and the wider organisation with effective reporting by ensuring data monitoring systems and processes are being utilised to their full potential and data sets are of a high quality

4. Support gathering women’s voices and experiences in order to understand the women who are using WIPs services, and the outcomes and impact of our programmes

IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of special educational needs and disability (SEND) law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Trusts and Philanthropy Officer to join our small, ambitious fundraising team. IPSEA has a proven track record of successfully securing grants, and this is a new role designed to help strengthen and grow IPSEA’s income from charitable Trusts and Foundations. You will be responsible for researching new funding opportunities, preparing and submitting tailored applications and reports, and managing relationships with existing funders through thoughtful and timely stewardship. You will also support the early development of strategies in major gifts and wider philanthropy. 

This role is an opportunity to play a key role in our future fundraising strategy and help secure long-term financial sustainability for our services. 

You will work remotely, with occasional travel required for essential meetings approximately 4-5 times per year.

We are recruiting for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team to support the delivery of projects, products and services.

The Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) is the professional home for archaeologists in the UK and overseas. We set high standards and benchmark good practice in archaeology to inspire trust in, and respect for, the profession of archaeology. As well as providing training and networks for over 4000 members, we develop and deliver regulated qualifications, accredit undergraduate degree programmes in archaeology and undertake a range of funded projects aimed at supporting the archaeology sector.

We are a fully remote organisation with home-based staff located across the UK. We work collaboratively online using MS Teams, with regular one-to-one, team and project meetings. 

We are looking for a focussed and self-motivated individual to provide administrative support across the professional skills and standards areas of our work. About this job

In this role you will be providing emotional support and information to people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) that empowers them to; live to their full potential, take an active role in their treatment and secure the care and support they need. As part of the helpline team you will also contribute to the overall implementation of the teams objectives and successfully embedding new services.

Our helpline is open 9am – 7pm and therefore this role includes working a shift pattern of 9-5, 10-6, 11-7 or as the service demands.
