About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Marketing and Communications Executive.

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and evaluating communications and strategies and campaigns and creating vibrant content that’s really focused on Rainbow Trust’s target audiences.

The post holder will work collaboratively across the Fundraising and Engagement team to support with the creation of news stories, press releases, blogs, campaign copy or email newsletters, website pages, social media posts.

Your role

As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Shirley, Southampton shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.

About you

You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. We are currently recruiting for a Fundraising Officer whose principle role will be to develop, support and champion Individual, Corporate and Community Fundraising activity. 

The main purpose of this role is to collaborate with the Fundraising Manager in order to drive all fundraising activity in support of the Charity.

The secondary purpose of the role is to plan, manage and execute a programme of fundraising initiatives across the area to encourage corporates and community to help generate income through well considered, thoughtfully planned and effectively delivered programmes of fundraising activities.

The incumbent will have direct ownership of specific areas to allow for independence and the ability to grow skills. Experience in Legacy/will-writing campaigns or programmes would be an advantage.

 Relationships:

The post holder is expected to foster excellent working relationships with potential, existing and lapsed corporate partners, external partners, community groups and individual supporters, and the wider Fundraising team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify prospective new corporate partners in specific sectors through research, networking, and an understanding of the marketplace with the goal of maximising sustainable opportunities for income generation to agreed budgets.

• Develop and nurture portfolio of corporate accounts, liaising with directors, CSR managers and executives to cultivate effective and sustainable partnerships with companies that are truly committed to helping Hounds for Heroes achieve its aims.

• Actively track in-year and long-term income potential, highlighting income at risk or lost, and develop plans to minimise the impact

• Act as a brand ambassador for the Charity establishing multi-level relationships which educate and inform key contacts and Charity ambassadors and encourage the growth of a dedicated supporter base.

• Maintain thorough records and plans in support of all activities

• Maintain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of Hounds For Heroes’ operational priorities, articulating our vision and creating winning cases for support

• Promote networking events in order to raise the profile of the Charity and its activities nationally but with a particular focus in southern England

• Bring fresh ideas into the future growth and work of Hounds for Heroes whilst actively contributing to a culture of innovation, resourcefulness and best practice

• Develop, implement and run a will writing/legacy campaign on behalf of the Charity, liaising with stakeholders, partners etc.

Modern Art Oxford is undergoing a £1.2m programme of redesign and refurbishment of the ground/lower-ground floor this Summer and as part of this programme, there will be a new artist-designed destination café at the lower-ground level.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, creative individual to create a menu that will reflect the design and continue to be accessible to our visitors.

Our café is an important part of the gallery, and our Chef Manager is responsible for providing a welcoming, friendly environment, serving a high quality menu with excellent customer service. This is an operational and hands on role where the large majority of time is spent planning and preparing the café food and drinks and interacting with the general public. The Chef Manager is also responsible for the supervision and the rota management of our café staff, and will collaborate closely with our Commercial Manager to maximise profits and further develop the Café in line with the Gallery’s aims and objectives.

The Modern Art café is currently open Tuesday to Sunday 10am-4pm and we work as a team to produce a clear menu offering paninis, soups, and seasonal specials as well as a wide range of cakes and pastries. Devising dishes to limit wastage and working to strict budgets is a very important part of our menu planning.

We are looking for a dynamic Head of Brand, Communications and Marketing, to manage and lead the Brand, Communications and Marketing team to deliver impactful communications and marketing assets that meet the needs of the charity and resonate with audiences. About the role:

Richmond Carers Centre, a network partner of the Carers Trust, is a registered charity providing information, support, advice and a voice for carers living and caring in London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Helping Carers to Live Well is our organisational aim. We provide a targeted service to young carers, aged 5 – 18 years. Young carers, provide vital emotional and practical support to a family member with a care need including sibling young carers. Their care role can have an impact on their wellbeing, education and social opportunities. As Young Carers Support Worker you will be part of a small, dedicated team which directly deliver a range of services for young carers, including information and advice, emotional support and mentoring, promoting awareness of young carers and delivering a wide selection of group activities, both term-time and in the school holiday programme. Using all your skills, you will work with the young carers’ team to deliver, review, and continually develop services for young carers to best meet their identified needs.

With your proven knowledge of working with children and young people, families, carers or other vulnerable groups on an individual and/or group basis, you will recognise the importance of being client focused and have a commitment to enhance the lives of young carers and their families, including knowledge and awareness of sibling young carers and vulnerable families. We’re recruiting for an Individual Giving Officer to join our team. We proudly raise money to help improve life for people with Parkinson’s and the people in their lives. About the role

This role is offered on a fixed-term contract running to March 2025. 

 You’ll be working on direct marketing campaigns that engage and inspire people to donate. And you’ll make it as easy as possible for supporters to choose the way they want to give. You’ll be part of a team that champions and supports each other, and is innovative in a changing fundraising and external environment to achieve our annual income target of over £5million. 

Focusing on high volume donations under £1000. We use analysis and insight to deliver a variety of direct marketing activities that recruit new donors and ensure everyone can see the impact of their kind contribution. 

What you’ll do

• Assist with and, when required, project manage direct marketing campaigns, both online and offline, to maximise income through one-off and regular gifts.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with external agencies and suppliers.
• Support the Senior Individual Giving Officers to achieve strategic objectives, monitor income and expenditure budgets and use database analysis to inform and improve the direct marketing programme.
• Ensure that the direct marketing programme is integrated into Engagement Directorate activities and supports the overall Parkinson’s UK strategic plan.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience of successfully managing campaigns to deliver results against agreed targets and objectives.
• Excellent copywriting, creative and proofreading skills.
• Experience using digital tools, platforms and techniques 
• Ability to review and evaluate data and campaign results and pull out key trends to inform future work.
• Ability to work well under own initiative, cope well under pressure, meet deadlines and has good attention to detail.
