An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our training team for an enthusiastic individual who is able to manage their own workload and interested in working as part of a small team, supporting people across Lancashire to increase knowledge and understanding of mental health and wellbeing. Your role will help us manage some of the exciting projects that the WW&T Team has on, including a national project around self-harm.
You will have knowledge and understanding of digital platforms and managing the schedules of a team. You will also be managing our exciting new on-demand platform where you will be developing and improving our offer.

Appeer is a Community Interest Company (CIC) set up to deliver services that support autistic girls and women (and those assigned female at birth) to connect with peers, to develop their life/work skills and to support their wellbeing. We provide in person and online activity groups and programmes, alternative provision, events and resources for those in the community that we serve, their parents/carers and other professionals. We are not a therapeutic setting and as such do not offer clinical support or 1:1 supervision. We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.
This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.
You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver an excellent experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.
The North & East of Scotland is an area filled with some of our most committed supporters but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from hospitals across the region, and our Home from Home, ‘Ciaran’s House’ in Edinburgh, enables families to stay close to their loved one for free during treatment, so building relationships with these teams are a must.
Candidates should live within North & East Scotland, in one of the following counties: Aberdeenshire, Angus, Clackmannanshire, Dundee, Edinburgh & the Lothians, Fife, Highland, Inverness, Moray or Perth & Kinross. This role is an opportunity to develop your fundraising skills and gain experience across a broad range of incomes streams while also providing essential administrative support across our small charity. You will support the Director and Fundraising Manager with fundraising from grant makers, individual donors and corporate partnerships. You will already have strong digital skills and will take the lead on developing our digital fundraising through expanding the effectiveness and reach of our social media. You will oversee the administration of our Peak Partners scheme for businesses and lead on signing up new bronze and silver level partners. You will also lead on community fundraising - supporting individuals and groups who want to fundraise for the Foundation. The role will also include helping to distribute much-needed grants to projects across the National Park.
This role would be ideally suited to someone with a digital communications background who wants to develop skills in fundraising, or an individual with some fundraising or sales experience who is looking to move into the environmental sector. You will be a confident communicator and willing to muck in and be a key part of our small friendly team.

About the Role
The Head of US Death Penalty Projects is responsible for overseeing Reprieve’s work against the death penalty in the United States of America.
Background to Reprieve’s work against the death penalty in the US
Reprieve has worked against the death penalty since our founding. In recent years we have built a particular specialism in issues relating to lethal injection, the most popular execution method in the US. Lethal injection has been touted as a more humane than other methods – a modern, clean, clinical way to execute. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Lethal injection executions go wrong more often than any other execution method, often resulting in prolonged and torturous executions, commonly known as “botched” executions. Through our work we aim to dispel the myth of the humane execution, working with allies across medicine, business and other sectors to end the misuse of medicines and medical technology in executions.
The existing portfolio of work includes litigation, investigation and analysis, corporate engagement, a wide range of public and private advocacy, and developing and maintaining world-leading expertise on execution methods, particularly the jurisprudence and science relevant to lethal injection.
About You
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies in which each of Reprieve’s methodologies—investigation, litigation, casework political and public engagement, support for and (where possible and appropriate) advocacy with affected communities—connect with one another to achieve positive outcomes in the death penalty landscape and address structural rights violations.
Location, contract and salary
The role is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £59,226 per annum less any required deductions for tax and national insurance. Reprieve works across a number of jurisdictions; as such this is a role that may require work outside of core hours from time to time. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work a minimum of 40% from the London office and the rest of the week from home.

The role of Dose of Nature’s Development Manager is a permanent, high-level role which will continue to evolve as the work of Dose of Nature grows over the coming years. The post involves creating and implementing a fundraising strategy, supporting the Chief Executive with financial planning, and providing clear long-term direction to income generation.
The Development Manager will work directly with the Chief Executive to devise a long-term development strategy, identify and secure funding partners, and produce relevant and compelling funding proposals. Currently the main sources of funding are from trust and foundation grants and local council health care grants. Going forward the Development Manager will grow the funding stream from trusts and foundations and look to solidify the donations from locals. As the charity develops there will also be opportunities of securing funding from the corporate sector, helping to secure Dose of Nature’s future.
The role requires a focused and detail-oriented mindset, entrepreneurial flair, business development experience, excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, good time management and the ability to juggle several complicated tasks at once. It provides a fantastic opportunity for someone with a “can-do” attitude, someone who is passionate about supporting the aims of Dose of Nature and also who wants the freedom to make this role their own.
As with any small charity we hope to find someone who is multi-faceted in terms of their fundraising skill set, and within this, without being a communications specialist, we anticipate that the Development Manager will have experience of charity communications (although this is not the main focus of the role). Ideally the Development Manager will be able to help with creating a communications strategy, support communication tools such as newsletters and social media, and identify any opportunities that may help Dose of Nature grow.
Dose of Nature has an annual turnover of approximately £400,000, of which 75% is currently raised from trust and foundation grants along with donations from individuals. The Development Manager will be responsible for maintaining this income and also securing significant new funding during 2024-25. With a good network of local support, the Development Manager will have the advantage of having a database of supporters to work with and there is the potential to create an individual appeal or giving scheme. Currently the Chief Executive makes all funding applications to trusts and foundations and these relationships will be passed on to the Development Manager who will be expected to nurture these and secure grants from new sources.
