They will drive the strategic development and delivery of our income generation (currently c.£1m pa) and marketing and communications work, working with established and new partners. 

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual with a proven track record in partnerships development and income generation and a good understanding of communications. 

The postholder will lead a small, multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with the CEO, SMT and others across the organisation to acquire and retain the funds, volunteer and pro bono resources needed to deliver and grow our work.

About you 

As our Partnerships Manager, act as the day-to-day lead manager and central point of contact for major partnerships, ensuring the full potential value of these partnerships are maximised. In this role, you will:  

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders and partners, supporting them in ethical storytelling and communication efforts.
• Achieve financial and non-financial targets by creating and implementing detailed strategies for short-term income and long-term growth.
• Monitor and manage income, expenditure, and resources, providing regular forecasting and analysis to ensure financial objectives are met. 
• Collaborate internally across Save the Children and with external markets to leverage resources and experience, ensuring partnerships align with organizational values and policies.
• Prepare and adapt various communications, including presentations, proposals, social media content, and reports, tailored to different audiences. 
• Support senior colleagues and the broader Partnerships & Philanthropy team, including potential UK or international travel and engagement with legal and marketing teams for contract and project execution. 

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• A growth mindset to drive forward progress with vision, energy, creativity and in a proactive nature. Strong communication skills combined with strong project management, organisational and relationship building skills.
• You will also have solid experience of managing complex partnerships, or within the commercial sector, to demonstrate the key elements required to succeed in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our small but mighty team in a strategically important position as manager of our flagship Fair Water Footprints Programme.  Over the past 15 years Water Witness has carved out a key role in holding governments, business, and investors to account for sustainable water management.  In 2021 this work triggered the Glasgow Declaration for Fair Water Footprints - a breakthrough moment at COP26, when twenty-eight founding Signatories committed to end the abuse of water in our supply chains and establish water stewardship as the global business norm by 2030.  With our partners we have secured significant funds to take forward and scale up this groundbreaking work which will harness trade, enterprise, and civic engagement to drive water justice and climate resilience as part of the UK’s Just Transition for Water Security.

The Programme Manager will be accountable for coordinating and delivering our contributions to the Fair Water Footprint Programme. These will include: the production and dissemination of influential water footprint assessments; pioneering new research and on-the-ground investigations; participatory planning, technical support and training with diverse partners; development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of action plans, advocacy and communication campaigns to secure improved water security for millions of people and systemic change at a sectoral and global scale.   

The successful candidate will use their exceptional organisational and communication skills, technical know-how and experience of multi-stakeholder engagement and policy influence to shape this world-changing initiative and ensure impact.  They will represent Water Witness at the highest levels, to convene and work constructively with leaders from public, private and financial sectors, civil society, and academia, to co-lead a partner coordination unit, and ensure value for money and impact through sub-contracts and grants.

Experience of living and working in East or West Africa, a track record in proposal development and applications to institutions, knowledge of livelihood development and rights based approaches are key areas for this role.

Ealing and Hounslow Community Voluntary Service (EHCVS) is a registered local charity with over 30 years of experience supporting voluntary and community sector (VCS) groups in Ealing and, since 2012, in Hounslow. About the Role

The Head of US Death Penalty Projects is responsible for overseeing Reprieve’s work against the death penalty in the United States of America.

 Background to Reprieve’s work against the death penalty in the US

 Reprieve has worked against the death penalty since our founding. In recent years we have built a particular specialism in issues relating to lethal injection, the most popular execution method in the US. Lethal injection has been touted as a more humane than other methods – a modern, clean, clinical way to execute. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Lethal injection executions go wrong more often than any other execution method, often resulting in prolonged and torturous executions, commonly known as “botched” executions. Through our work we aim to dispel the myth of the humane execution, working with allies across medicine, business and other sectors to end the misuse of medicines and medical technology in executions.

The existing portfolio of work includes litigation, investigation and analysis, corporate engagement, a wide range of public and private advocacy, and developing and maintaining world-leading expertise on execution methods, particularly the jurisprudence and science relevant to lethal injection.

About You

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies in which each of Reprieve’s methodologies—investigation, litigation, casework political and public engagement, support for and (where possible and appropriate) advocacy with affected communities—connect with one another to achieve positive outcomes in the death penalty landscape and address structural rights violations.

Location, contract and salary

The role is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £59,226 per annum less any required deductions for tax and national insurance. Reprieve works across a number of jurisdictions; as such this is a role that may require work outside of core hours from time to time. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work a minimum of 40% from the London office and the rest of the week from home.

• Retain and maximise relationships with existing trust and corporate portfolio through designing and delivering bespoke annual engagement strategies, including exclusive and personalised reports, briefings, calls and proposals;
• Promote cross-department collaboration on trust and corporate fundraising to maximise both unrestricted and restricted fundraising, leading meetings, identifying synergies, and integrating pipelines and prospecting mechanisms;
• Identify and secure new major donors and regular givers, conceptualising and running acquisition campaigns alongside the HC&G;
• Identify potential major donors and high value regular givers within Afghanaid’s donor portfolio and implement plans to develop these relationships;

Data and administration

• Ensure all phone calls, meetings, emails and other engagement with trusts, corporates, major donors and high value regular givers are logged on Salesforce, ensuring records are clean;
• Work with the Database and Insights Analyst to conceptualise and implement key CRM processes that promote efficiency, accuracy and maximise the use of automations;
• Work with the Database and Insights Analyst and other C&G colleagues to ensure all donations from these donation streams are recorded and reconciled accurately on the database;
• Ensure Gift Aid declarations are sought from all eligible donors and appropriately filed;
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure funding contract requirements are adhered to;
• Monitor the Supporter Care email address to ensure all donors are receiving the best possible experience;
• Undertake any other duties as and when required by the line manager and/or overview manager.

This is an exciting role that will be responsible for leading our brand-new Philanthropy and Partnership’s Research and Engagement Team.  This team is responsible for ensuring direct fundraisers are equipped to make compelling asks and steward donors. They cover prospect research, KPI and pipeline reporting, high value events, stewardship and engagement asset creation, and cross team operational support.

Responsibilities of our Prospect Research and Donor Development Manager:

As Prospect Research and Donor Development Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing Cats Protection’s prospect research and high value donor development programme, including pipeline development, portfolio management, supporter stewardship and proposition creation. A key focus of this role will be to identify funders, advise on their capacity to support the charity’s work and assist in the development of strategic corporate, major donor and foundation relationships that deliver agreed income targets and achieve the organisations ambition for Philanthropy & Partnerships income streams.

PiP's philanthropic income has doubled in the last 16 months and this role is the next investment in our Development & Engagement team to steward our funders, secure new funders to maintain income levels, and better communicate our impact.

The role has three main areas of responsibility:

• Managing funding partners - primarily trusts & foundations but corporate income is growing
• Identifying and securing new income – primarily partners in the £5-25K p.a. range
• Manage PiP communications – focused across audiences including non-philanthropic

We're looking for someone with experience in:

• Stewarding existing funders in the £5-25K p.a. range as part of a team including writing compelling impact & evaluation reports
• Developing and pitching concepts to funders to grow existing relationships and secure new partners
• Devising a communication strategy for an organisation and able to deploy this across channels e.g. print, social, and digital
• Being based on-site with service delivery and able to utilise this towards fundraising and communications goals
• Handling all elements of a project or delivery, PiP is a small charity so mucking in is essential
• Working across structures from senior management to delivery staff internally and externally

We're offering the following benefits:

• A salary between £29,500 & £33,500, dependent on experience
• You'll get 25 days holidays + bank holidays ever year. We're closed for Christmas but the rest of the year you may take leave whenever you wish.
• An extra day of annual leave for each year you've worked with us up to another 5 (30 in total)
• We offer a travel subsidy of £7.50 per day to help with commuting costs.

• It's an early finish on Fridays - we close once all students leave around 4pm.

CAFOD’s Major Donor Executive will play a key role in delivering our fundraising programme. They will help develop and implement operational plans, manage a portfolio of existing donors and work to identify prospective new donors and their networks. They will work alongside a collaborative and talented team of fundraising professionals who support and encourage each other to reach their fundraising and operational goals. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to make an impact on CAFOD’s growth through a sound knowledge of high-value major gifts principles, already established warm long-term and prospective donors, experience with peer-to-peer approaches and hands-on experience with this specialist form of philanthropic giving. 

Key Responsibilities

Donor relationship management 

• Develop lasting relationships with existing donors and new prospects, building and managing a portfolio of donors giving £5,000 upwards

• With the Philanthropy Manager and Major Donor Team, devise and implement online and offline communication plans with a clear focus on securing funds for CAFOD’s core programmes 

• Steward donors effectively, to ensure satisfaction and long-term commitment. Communicate, thank and report back on the work of CAFOD using donors preferred channels, ensuring the highest standards of donor care 

• Ensure systematic data input and management so that key information, donor interactions and communications are appropriately recorded  in line with organisational systems and processes, and in compliance with GDPR and fundraising best practice 

• Work with the Philanthropy Manager, the Research and Information Team, Senior Management colleagues and Trustees to carry out donor research, identify new prospects and grow the pipeline of donors. 

• As part of the team’s wider work, contribute to (and at times lead on) hosting cultivation and stewardship events – including planning event logistics; sending and tracking invitations; hosting and speaking at events; co-ordinating follow-up and completing evaluations 

 Contribute to Major Donor strategy, plans and income targets 

• Contribute to the development of team annual plans and income forecasts 

• Maintain focus on your own and teams’ income and other KPIs 

• Monitor your portfolio, prepare required analysis for monthly and quarterly reports and regular income forecasting exercises 

• Develop ad hoc reports and data analysis to improve the donor programme and communicate key learnings to internal and external stakeholders 

• Participate in regular team reviews of the donor portfolio to discuss moves management and next steps in donor contact plans 

• Identify new funding opportunities with stakeholders and develop ways of working with influential supporters 

• Attend and contribute to regular section and CAFOD-wide meetings and briefings 

• Participate in training and other activities as requested by your line manager 

About you

We are in search of a candidate with expert major donor knowledge and a proven track record in donor management and fundraising. You will have experience soliciting five and ideally six-figure donations and have the ability to develop compelling appeals to raise funds for CAFOD’s core programmes. Additionally, you will comprehensively understand the significance of prospect research and portfolio management. You will have excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence, enabling you to foster strong relationships with donors and work colleagues. 

Essential criteria for the role will include: 

• Proven experience of managing major gift relationships at five-figure giving level 

• Experience of implementing donor cultivation and stewardship plans – including online and offline appeals, tailored approaches and feedback communications; face-to-face meetings; event management 

• Achieved successful income growth strategies 

• Good written and presentations skills that would enable donors to engage with the work of CAFOD

• Good knowledge of how to input and use databases and how to follow systems and processes 

• Prospect research experience
