Job description

East Anglian Air Ambulance is a regional life-saving charity covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. With two state of the art helicopters and a fleet of rapid response vehicles our crew of critical care paramedics and specialist doctors bring their advanced skills, equipment and medicine to the scene of the incident in the fastest time possible.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday
Annual salary: Up to £61,244.58 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term Maternity Cover for 16 months

In this essential fixed term role, you will be a key player in the senior leadership of the Fundraising and Supporters Team. You will be joining at an exciting time, with recent significant investment in the team who lead on our corporate partner relationships, developing and delivering a new event strategy, and driving ambitious growth in our community fundraising activity (inc. volunteer led fundraising, third party income, support from groups clubs and societies and local and regional benefiting charity status opportunities).

Having overall responsibility for the Community Fundraising, Events and Corporate strategy and budget for EAAA, you will manage income and expenditure, ensuring integration with the wider fundraising and organisational strategic plans. Working collaboratively, and supported by your key Managers and Fundraisers, you will be responsible for the supporter experience for all community fundraising, corporate and event audiences.

Using your significant experience of leading a fundraising department in the third sector, you will lead and motivate a team of diverse and talented individuals as they deliver their objectives and provide an outstanding experience for everyone who engages with the charity.

*For office-based contracts the role will be worked a minimum of 3 days a week from our Norwich, Cambridge or Melbourn offices and up to 2 days a week from home. The exact days worked in the office will be agreed with the successful candidate, but you must live within the four counties we cover – Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. For home-based candidates you must live within region and be able to easily access the Norwich, Cambridge or Melbourn offices on a frequent basis.
