About the role
The role of Change Programme Director is a new, fixed-term opportunity. The successful individual will report into the Chief Operating Officer (COO). And provide strategic leadership of the Foundation’s change programme portfolio (Our Future Foundation and Operational Improvement Programme).You will ensure cohesiveness and strategic alignment, and the effective delivery of change outcomes in accordance with best Organisational Development (OD) practices.
A self-starter you will have experience of leading organisation-wide transformation in a complex environment.And successfully deliver to competing priorities and deadlines.
This is a perfect role for a people leader who is astute, has great interpersonal skills and coaches’ multidisciplinary teams to deliver results and grow organisational capability. As well as delegating for the COO in his role, some other key responsibilities within your role will include:
- Lead on the design, scope, phasing, and approach to the change programme portfolio, ensuring they are optimal, efficient, and enabling the programme to succeed.
- Work with the wider Corporate Services team, develop change capability across the Foundation, enabling colleagues to operate more effectively and deliver greater impact.
- Lead specific organisational development and design projects and workstreams to ensure compliance, best practice, and people-focussed approach to change implementation.
- Lead on the mitigation of risks associated with change programme – including management of complex suite of dependencies.

What we’re looking for in our Associate Director of Capital, Estates and Facilities:
- An experienced, qualified Estates & Facilities Management professional with:
- Proven experience at a senior management level in a large, complex organisation, demonstrating strategic and operational leadership
- Strong background in contract negotiation, estates management, and compliance in facilities
- Knowledge of large service contracts, experience of successful contract negotiation and long-term contract management
- Specialist knowledge regarding compliance issues in estates, fleet and facilities
- Experience in capital planning and development with an ability to lead significant change management projects
- Expertise in environmental management, health and safety, and budget oversight.
- First degree or equivalent professional award in appropriate Estates and Facilities Management

THE ROLE
NEA is looking to appoint new Warm and Safe Homes (WASH) Advice Line Co-ordinator posts on a full time (37 hours per week) basis; but we are happy to receive applications from candidates who may wish to work part time hours as we would be prepared to appoint posts as job share opportunities. WASH Advice Line Co-ordinators will be the first point of contact for vulnerable householders who are contacting the charity for a range of energy related advice matters. Co-ordinators will need to be empathetic, polite and have good listening skills but may also need you to be assertive and confident in order to provide support to clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances.
Whilst call centre or customer service experience will be advantageous, empathy and an ability to understand client needs is paramount and our training will give successful candidates the knowledge to succeed in the role.
The post holder’s main responsibilities will be to deal with customer and partner emails, calls, live chats and off- line tasks. These will include:

Provision of day-to-day support to our customers and partners (referral organisations) on any queries, or issues, through answering telephones calls and emails.

Process, resolve or escalate client queries within the WASH and wider team in line with the internal process.

As a WASH Advice Line Co-ordinator, you’ll be in the front line of the provision of solutions to client queries and issues as part of a wider team.

Maintenance of appropriate client records and necessary data using client management systems to ensure the progress of work towards project targets is monitored and that project outcomes are fully recorded.
The post holders will be responsible for the delivery of a range of projects which will demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders.
The posts sit within the Communities Directorate and are part of a dynamic and caring team of professionals who go the extra mile to support their clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
You should be able to demonstrate understanding or experience of energy efficiency, you will be empathetic and be a good listener – as well as demonstrable experience of responding to the needs of clients in direct contact settings. You will have the ability to work with a wide range of people and demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable householders, low income and/or other disadvantaged groups.
You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with a range of communities and individuals.
An awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them, is desirable, although not essential.
NEA has several office locations throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and welcomes applicants from all regions. Prostate Cancer Research exists to honour the men and families who have been through things no family should have to go through, and to work for a future where no one needs to fear a prostate cancer diagnosis.
We are always working to provide resources to help, support and empower patients. Giving them the information they need to make better choices about their treatment, while working to identify and target specific unmet needs in the prostate cancer ecosystem, such as racial inequality and bone metastasis.
Our dedicated staff team is the key to our success, expanding the amount of research that we fund five times over in four years. PCR has been shortlisted for an Impact Prize and won the Change Project of the year award in 2023.
It’s been a successful couple of years for PCR’s Events & Community team with good results across the portfolio, raising over £1.4m (against a target of £800k) in 2023-24. Now’s an exciting time as we’ve recently expanded the team, whilst refreshing our structure and roles to make priorities clear and ensure the whole team can do their best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing in their careers and enjoying their jobs within our ambitious and supportive team.
We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship-building skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. A big part of this role is project managing PCR’s fundraising activities, including virtual and third-party challenges. This requires a proactive approach, an eagerness to learn and a readiness to get stuck in with a positive attitude, as well as some experience of leading a project yourself in the past. You will work closely with the Virtual & Challenge Events Manager, existing Events & Community Officer/ Executives, and the whole team – sharing best practice, learnings and supporting each other to reach and exceed our shared goals.
This role will focus on virtual & challenge events activities but will get exposure to the full range of our events & community fundraising portfolio for your development and interest – and you will receive the training and support needed to succeed!
Key Responsibilities
Event management and delivery

Lead the delivery of the fundraising activities you are working on, keeping an eye on objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure that opportunities to improve and maximise fundraising are seized.

Create and follow action plans for your projects, taking responsibility for processes and delivery of tasks on time.

Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and third-party organisations.

Ensure all fundraising activities promote PCR’s brand and have a strong connection to people with prostate cancer.

With the support of the team, analyse results based on KPIs & feedback, and proactively suggest changes & improvements.
Stewardship

Lead on delivering PCR’s supporter journeys for your projects, providing a high level of stewardship with an understanding of the connection between engagement and the income & awareness raised for PCR.

Lead on relationship management as required for the fundraising activities you are working on.

Carry out regular stewardship tasks including content delivery, the management of stewardship tools (e.g. Mailchimp, GivePanel & Kudosity) and responding to supporter queries via all channels. Plenty of training on tools will be provided!

Collaborate with the team on the upkeep of supporter journeys, using feedback & data to spot opportunities for constant improvement of fundraisers’ experience with PCR and motivating them to raise more and remain loyal supporters.
Marketing and Recruitment

Work with the Events team managers and external marketing consultants to create effective marketing plans and lead on their implementation, making best efforts to hit acquisition targets for the fundraising activities you are working on.

Create & deliver marketing plans and assets which are tailored by a good understanding of our existing & target audiences.

With the support of team managers, track and analyse marketing performance to proactively suggest improvements.
Administration and Database

Manage stock fulfilment, sending merchandise to supporters and replenishing materials as required, ensuring high quality, good value and an appropriate & creative application of PCR’s brand.

Carry out participant data processing, income processing and budget management tasks as required, including coding, database administration, paying invoices and tracking income & expenditure in logs.

Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations and PCR’s policies.

Take an active role in training & webinars to improve your knowledge of the database and compliance requirements.
Strategy and Development

Responsibilities
Impact Strategy and Reporting
- Ensure that all reporting is aligned with both funders’ requirements and the organisation's broader impact goals, while preserving its independence and vision.
- Lead the design, review, and implementation of BLP’s impact framework and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Provide support to both Business Launchpad (BLP) and Tooting Works (TW) by designing and delivering training on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) methods, ensuring teams across both organisations are equipped to confidently produce and apply evidence-based work
- Develop and oversee the implementation of monitoring tools and processes that provide actionable insights to drive data-informed decisions.
- Refine and update data collection tools, train and support team members in their effective use, and continuously evaluate and improve the tools and processes to enhance data accuracy and impact measurement.
- Ensure all programs have a well-constructed Theory of Change, including baseline surveys, KPIs, and robust impact evaluations.
- Oversee data processing and analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods to ensure accurate insights for impact evaluation and reporting.
- Provide regular and timely impact reports for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Board, and other key stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure accurate and up-to-date impact data, success stories, and insights are used for advocacy, PR, and communications.

- Support the procurement and management of contracts with external research, evaluation, and learning partners.
- Assist in the production of internal quarterly impact reports and Business Launchpad’s public Annual Report by analysing progress toward the charity’s strategic goals and proactively identifying any issues impacting performance.
- Lead the implementation of new data management systems and integration of existing systems to improve efficiency.
- Ensure best practices for data protection, ethical data management, and security are followed.
Skills and Qualifications

ABOUT THE JOB
Job Purpose
We’re looking for an exemplary administrative and people-oriented person who will be administratively supporting the two Faculty Leads: the Director of Psychotherapy and the Director of Counselling. An important role in the organisation with responsibilities towards the Leadership Team.

Main areas of work and responsibility
- Academic and Personal Administration Support to the Faculty Directors of Psychotherapy and Counselling
- Coordinate and support projects and workstreams the Directors Lead on: including overseeing and managing the Counselling and Psychotherapy programmes and faculties, quality assurance and reporting to accrediting bodies and Gestalt Centre membership and accreditation.
- Provide administrative support and coordination of the Gestalt Centre membership and membership cycles. Including UKCP reaccreditation processes: coordinate membership renewals and reaccreditation processes from beginning to end, liaise with members, maintain systems and update the membership Directory. In association with the Director of Psychotherapy and the Director of Counselling
- This role resides in the wider course\academic admin team and as/when directed is expected to support/liaise with the admissions and registration team.
- Organise, co-ordinate and provide administrative support for meetings with faculty, Gestalt Centre colleagues, UKCP, BACP, the university and exam Boards, and other external meetings as required in relation to the academic, membership or regulatory functions of GC. In association with the Director of Psychotherapy and the Director of Counselling
- Prepare meetings set up, information and any required papers in advance. Organise dates, taking and sending out minutes and coordinate follow-up actions ensuring progress and completion.
- Prepare, format, edit and update communications, presentations and reports for internal and external audiences to a high standard – including for meetings with the Faculties, the Executive, UKCP, BACP or the university.
- Work closely with both Directors on the production and content of the various Professional Training Programme Handbooks, including managing version control and ensuring accurate information within and to time.
- Provide a professional first and secondary point of contact and as and when required liaise with the Directors to respond to emails or phone calls and other communications, including the preparation of acknowledgement responses and follow-on actions.

mySociety is a small, purposeful charity which uses digital tools to help people to participate more fully in democracy, make governments and society more transparent and help people work together to address societal challenges. We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser who has the research, proposal writing and budget development experience to deliver on our fundraising strategy by securing new sources of income from grant making foundations and government programmes, coupled with the strategic planning and management skills to further diversify our income by building our individual donations. You’ll be our sole fundraiser, coordinating with our Chief Executive and brilliant, friendly, multidisciplinary programme teams to develop workable, fundable proposals, and to manage and report on grants, acting as the main relationship holder for funders. You will need to be inventive in seeking out potential new funders, and to quickly grasp how the organisation works, with a good understanding of how our technology-led climate, transparency and democracy programmes sit within and extend the reach of broader systems of impact.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator, proactive and tenacious at finding and following up leads, flexible and collaborative in approach, with good knowledge of the broader funding landscape and relevant and active connections and networks.
This is a full-time fixed term maternity cover role for 9 - 12 months, starting in February or early March 2025. Ideally this would be a full time role, four days might be considered for the right candidate.

What does the role involve?

Deliver on and refine our four year fundraising strategy, building and maintaining a good understanding of the needs of each of our programmes, priorities and desired charitable goals

Frame our current and planned activity to appropriately align with the priorities of potential funders

Identify new leads for unrestricted grant funding to support our existing and core activity

Identify relevant restricted grant funding for projects that align with our existing priorities and new adjacent areas

Lead on writing and submitting grant proposals, developing appropriate budgets, logframes, etc in collaboration with other members of the team

Maintain effective monitoring practices in order to identify new funding opportunities

Maintain our database of funders and potential funding contacts

Contribute to the development of the organisation’s wider strategy, through knowledge of the funding landscape

Produce regular reports on fundraising progress against targets

Develop mySociety’s broader income generation work, building individual giving and other approaches as appropriate

Own the relationship with existing funders and be their main point of contact within mySociety

Lead on grant agreement/contract negotiations and compliance

Ensure all relevant team members are fully briefed on the terms and conditions of funding agreements, including key deadlines

Provide regular updates to funders on progress, and share insights and news with them
Requirements
We think this position would suit you best if you have some or all of the following:

Demonstrable fundraising track record; both quantitatively in money raised, and qualitatively in organisational fit and sustainability

A proactive and resourceful approach

Great personal rapport and people skills, able to quickly make connections and build productive and effective relationships

Breadth of experience and interest in developing different income streams

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - able to capture the breadth of our experience and summarise it tailored for the needs of each proposal

Ability to develop the strategic relationship between communications, events and fundraising

Strong sector experience, ideally within civic technology or related fields

Practical and organised for record keeping and reporting

Able to assess grant opportunities and comprehensively break down proposal requirements into manageable tasks

Tech savvy with proven experience of relevant databases and applications

Benefits
This is a fixed-term maternity cover contract with a pro-rated salary in the range of £55,000 to £65,000 per year, plus pension (4% employer, 4% employee).
You must be based in the UK and you need to have the right to work in this country (sorry, but we can’t offer help with visas or relocation expenses).
Deadlines and dates
