WLT has developed its modus operandi without losing its vision, integrity and transparency.
Our Development Department is responsible for growing a diverse and loyal supporter base which will enable the Trust to scale up its work. Within the Department, the Fundraising & Engagement team develop and deliver effective stewardship journeys for WLT’s individual donors, regular givers and fundraisers, deepening the commitment of existing supporters and inspiring new supporters to contribute to WLT. We are passionate about ensuring that all donors feel supported, valued and informed on their contribution to WLT’s work.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for applicants with strong stewardship skills and experience of nurturing on-going relationships, having worked in either a fundraising or customer stewardship role. You will be an excellent communicator, confident in engaging a wide range of audiences to enhance the stewardship experience, particularly communicating in written format. You will be passionate about sharing our work around wildlife conservation and committed to furthering the mission and ethos of WLT.

Job purpose:
To develop and deliver a strategic approach to increasing the land area committed to large-scale rewilding initiatives which deliver nature’s recovery alongside thriving local communities. The focus will be on engaging, inspiring and empowering others to adopt and apply rewilding principles, models and approaches.
Main responsibilities:
In collaboration with senior staff and the Rewilding Manager you will be responsible for leading and project managing the development and delivery of a plan to expand landscape scale rewilding across Britain, including:

Providing support and advice to targeted existing larger scale rewilding initiatives.

Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders — including landowners and managers - in key potential rewilding landscapes and influencing them to integrate rewilding into their management plans.

Researching the potential for rewilding — including its opportunities, cost and benefits and financial viability - in key areas and presenting this in a compelling way.

Inspiring, influencing and supporting new initiatives and partnerships focused on upscaling rewilding across larger landscapes and a diverse range of ownership and management types — community-led and multi-stakeholder partnerships, private, public, corporate and NGO landowners, commoners, crofters etc.

Working with the Rewilding Manager to ensure that our annual Challenge Fund award acts to catalyse and enable the development of large-scale 'exemplar' rewilding initiatives.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits
This is a full-time role at 35 hours per week, but we're open to applications from those looking to work 28 hours or more per week.
The salary is £40k - £48k per annum (depending on relevant experience).
There will be some freedom for the person to determine their own working arrangements each week, within limitations, providing the work is delivered.
Rewilding Britain employees benefit from 25 days annual leave per year (pro rata for part time roles), rising to 30 days over five years. A generous employer-matched pension scheme is also available.
We are a virtual team who work from home and/or co-working spaces. We'll support you to achieve a suitable virtual working environment. Some meetings are held face to face across Britain, so a willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays is desirable.

The Director of Development will take a pivotal role in the future of ZSL’s future expansion; the role will work as part of ZSL’s Executive Team to lead the delivery of a newly launched organisational strategy and develop and implement an ambitious international fundraising strategy to deliver income growth and diversification across high-value and mass fundraising streams both in the UK and overseas.
The position will provide leadership on all ZSL fundraising including efforts focused on corporate, philanthropic, institutional and public funding, and will be responsible for building and nurturing a high-performing fundraising team, as well as embedding a strong culture of philanthropy across the organisation.
The successful candidate will also play a key part in bringing a range of exciting projects to life, including a Centre for British Species Recovery, a Nature Campus as part of the redevelopment of the London Zoo site, new scientific facilities, and a range of ambitious conservation programmes in the UK and around the world.
The ideal candidate will bring an innovative approach and track record of driving growth and fundraising transformation at leadership level. We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate to join a leading Nature programme in this newly created team, supporting emerging international work.

The Role
As a key member of the Institute’s growing nature team, you will be working specifically international nature markets. You will be working on a funded project of work, to support COP15 signatories to understand and implement models and markets that unlock private sector capital into nature restoration and conservation and help them meet their Target 19 commitments. This role will be part of a three-person team within the broader nature team.
You will gain exposure to a range of stakeholders including policy makers, project developers and the private sector across multiple countries. Your responsibilities will include organising stakeholder convening, undertaking research and analysis, developing content, and managing sub-projects autonomously.
Collaboration with industry, government, civil society and academia internationally is a key element of this role and we are looking for team members who will thrive in a dynamic environment where creative thinking, communication and time management skills are essential.
About You
This is an exciting role for someone who has already gained relevant experience within the international development and/or environmental or sustainable finance sectors, looking to continue a career in the emerging area of nature-based investing and natural capital.
The Institute’s nature team is in growth mode and as such this role would suit a versatile project manager who is focused on timely delivery. You are expected to have some stakeholder management skills and strong research and writing skills.
You will be expected to grow your project management and stakeholder management skills and be confident in taking initiatives to manage relationships with potential and existing partners. Ability to co-ordinate multiple projects will be important, and you must be comfortable working in a flexible way. You will grow your expertise in selected areas regarding the content and structure of nature-based revenue models. You will manage one junior role with possibly short-term consultants to oversee from time to time.

Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR) exists to relieve the suffering of British wildlife, to encourage respect and tolerance for wildlife and to further its conservation. SWWR strives to do this by:
· providing a public rescue, rehabilitation, and release service for injured, sick and orphaned wildlife.
· providing a learning and outreach programme, public education, and access to a unique wildlife experience.

To maximise the potential funding available for Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR), particularly through obtaining grants from trusts, foundations, local authorities and other sources.
This role will also be responsible for enhancing the reach and value of legacy fundraising at SWWR and building strong relationships with corporate supporters to help secure the financial sustainability of the Charity.
Our Fundraising Manager is responsible for planning and preparing all fundraising and grants working alongside all departments to ensure projects are fulfilled from inception to fruition. The post holder takes care of medium- to long-term activities, budgeting, planning and strategy, as well as being responsive to emerging opportunities and adapting to change. The Fundraising Manager is also the main point of contact for new and existing supporters, providing support and stewardship to the amazing individuals and organisations who want to help wildlife.
Alongside the above, the Fundraising Manager will also provide support to the current fundraising personnel and activities at SWWR, coordinating and supporting a range of tasks and functions to aid in the smooth running of the Charity.
Fundraising is integrated into every part of SWWR’s operations. The Fundraising Manager works closely with colleagues in Education, Retail, Events, Finance, Volunteering, and Wildlife Care to understand their needs and provide support to aid in the smooth running of the Charity.
SWWR’s annual operational costs are approximately £900,000. The majority of funding is raised through supporter donations, fundraising events, trading activities and legacies.

The Greater Gola Landscape, located on the border between Liberia and Sierra Leone, comprises over 460,000 hectares of Upper Guinea forest, protected areas, community forests, and agricultural lands. The Data Management Administrator will support two conservation projects, PROBIO and GEF FOLUR, within the Gola Liberian Landscape. Their responsibilities include managing the SMART database for the PROBIO project, collaborating with the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) and partners, and supporting sustainable financing, land use planning, and restoration activities for the GEF FOLUR project.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree: Data Science, Computer Science, Natural Science, or a related scientific/technical field.

About You
What we need from you:
· A passion for conservation (no prior knowledge required);
· Ability to work to targets;
· A driver's licence valid for use in the UK;
· Happy to work 3 out of 4 weekends;
· Happy to travel (on average) an hour away from home each day;
· Willingness to work outdoors and independently;
· Fundraising/Sales and Customer Service experience (desirable).
Whether you're from a hospitality, customer service, sales, or volunteering background, we're more interested in your negotiating/storytelling skills and enthusiasm than your previous experience.
