About the role
We are seeking an experienced CEO to lead us into the next phase of growth, driving our mission forward with vision and passion. Working with the Board of Trustees and the Senior Leadership Team, we're looking for someone to provide strategic leadership, ensure financial sustainability and to oversee the charity's operations whilst preparing us for our next phase of development.
Key responsibilities
- Provide vision and leadership for the charity
- Support the charity's fundraising strategy, securing funding through grants, donations, and partnerships
- Act as the public face of the charity, advocating for its cause and engaging with stakeholders
- Foster partnerships with other charities, businesses, and community organisations
- Have overall responsibility for the financial management of the charity

- Experience of leading and managing multidisciplinary teams at CEO or similar level

- Proven experience in budget setting and financial management, reporting to funders and Trustees

The Role
The Primary Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting children affected by the Grenfell tragedy. Working closely with families and primary schools, you will help identify individual needs, develop tailored solutions, and advocate for children’s education and wellbeing.
You will:
- Conduct baseline assessments to understand children's specific needs.
- Provide advice and guidance to parents on school applications, transitions, and educational rights.
- Liaise between families and schools, ensuring teachers are informed about children's needs and support.
- Connect families with relevant external support services and refer to health organisations such as the Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service.
- Deliver trauma-informed guidance on the impact of trauma on learning and behaviour, offering strategies for emotional regulation and academic success.

About You

About the Organisation
The Grenfell Education Hub will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children, young people, their families, and local schools.
Following a consultation process in 2023 and 2024, the hub will bring together a team of professionals, including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. Their time will be split between direct work with children and families in the hub and supporting local schools.
The hub’s objectives are to:
- Provide high-quality educational support to as many children and young people as possible.
- Build the skills and confidence of children, families, and education staff in local schools.
- Develop strong relationships with those most affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

Myeloma Patients Europe (MPE) is offering an exciting position as Communications Manager (Digital and Social Media) in a dynamic European non-profit patient advocacy organisation. This role will help deliver the MPE communications strategy, providing both strategic and operational support across the organisation, and ensuring that MPE is increasing our reach and impact to improve the lives and experiences of myeloma patients.
As Communications Manager (Digital and Social Media), you will work with the Head of Communications and other key staff across to the organisation to:
- Implement MPE communications strategy, monitor and improve MPE reach, and increase impact with key stakeholders
- Develop and disseminate strong and relevant messaging for key stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate our performance and reach across digital and social communications channels
This will include working on the following core activities and tasks:
Digital communications (40%)
- Writing, editing and updating content for the MPE website (i.e. using WordPress, Elementor and other content management systems)
- Developing written and graphic content for MPE programme specific websites (such as MPE Navigator and Myeloma Access Atlas)

The Role

About the organisation:
The Grenfell 'Education Hub' will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children and young people, their families, and local schools.
A consultation process in 2023 and 2024 about the needs of the community and the bereaved and survivors led to proposals for an educational ‘hub’.
