Our client, a wonderful health and social care trust is looking for a Communications and Operations Assistant on a full-time basis (35 hours per week), running for 5-months in the first instance. The post will be looking to start as soon as possible and will be based 3 days on-site in Central London.

Key responsibilities include:

• Organise and support internal team meetings (scheduling, agendas, note-taking, action tracking).
• Assist with planning and delivery of online and in-person events.
• Provide administrative support to the Director, including diary management and travel booking.
• Maintain stakeholder lists and update internal databases.
• Support the Press Office during busy periods.
• Assist with routine team activities and larger projects as needed.
• Process invoices, expense claims, and financial records.

About the role

We’re looking for an Executive assistant with excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to join our CEO Office.

In this role, the successful applicant will provide proactive and efficient administrative support to the Directors of Young Lives vs Cancer. Their responsibilities will include managing complex diaries, coordinating travel and meetings, maintaining documentation systems, and supporting governance and leadership functions. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the senior leadership team, allowing them to focus on delivering the charity’s mission and strategic priorities.

While this position does not involve direct line management, it does require close collaboration with the CEO office and a wide range of individuals in the organisation, acting as a key liaison between the Directors and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, discreet, and confident in managing sensitive information. Strong communication skills, technological proficiency, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset are essential.

The wider team is collaborative, mission-driven, and committed to creating an inclusive, equitable environment. What will I be doing?

• Manage complex diaries and schedules for Directors, coordinating meetings and ensuring timely communication of changes
• Organise travel arrangements and support logistics for Directors.

The Programme Manager will work with Sense International offices and partner teams in South Asia (India, Nepal and Bangladesh) and Peru to support excellent programme and grant management. • Ensure that regional and country programmes are aligned with Sense International’s global strategy and country specific strategies and policies.

Key skills and experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in programme management positions in the international development sector

The Role

The Occupational Therapist at the Education Hub will provide specialist assessment, intervention, and support for children and young people affected by the Grenfell Tragedy. The therapist will work with children from early years through secondary education, helping them overcome sensory, motor, and functional challenges to enhance their learning and well-being.

You will:

• Work 1:1 and in groups to support children’s fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities.
• Collaborate with families, carers, and schools to promote children’s development and independence.

About the Organisation

The Grenfell 'Education Hub' will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children and young people, their families, and local schools.

A consultation process in 2023 and 2024 about the needs of the community and the bereaved and survivors led to proposals for an educational ‘hub’.  This will comprise a wide range of professionals including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. Their time will be divided between direct work with children and families in the ‘Hub’, and support for local schools. The activity of the hub aims to;

• Provide good quality educational support to as many children and young people as possible

The Deputy Contract Manager is responsible for the operational management of our specialist customer focused support services across the service.
