As Head of Communications and Marketing you will lead the communications team to deliver a high-impact strategy to promote the work of the Foundation. Battersea is entering an exciting phase of innovation and transformation as we embark on the first year of our new five-year strategy. This is a new role working across Battersea’s Income Generation department, in particular Philanthropy, Partnerships and Commercial (PP&C), to help drive income growth and maintain strong funder relationships.
As part of this role, you will work primarily on information gathering and management, and the creation of inspiring cases for support, funding propositions and impact reports. You will keep fundraisers informed of updates and progress in key projects and areas of work, supporting funder meetings by providing up to date information. You will also help us explore more creative ways of delivering cases for support, funding propositions and impact reports, so that we stand out from other organisations.

Pause works with women who have experienced – or are at risk of – repeated pregnancies that result in children needing to be removed from their care. The programme gives women the chance to pause and take control over their lives, breaking a destructive cycle that causes both them and their children deep trauma.
Are you an ambitious, creative and influential practitioner who is passionate about reducing the number of children being removed into care by supporting women to bring about change in their lives?
As a Pause Practitioner Hackney, you will deliver a range of interventions and support measures as part of an integrated package of health, therapeutic and social support for women on the programme, under the direction of the Pause and STEPs Practice Lead.
You will undertake a creative and tenacious outreach approach to engage women and utilise a broad range of highly developed skills, alongside a high level of professional autonomy. The post holder will have the ability to adapt to shifting demands and priorities and be flexible in their approach to working with women on the programme.
You will be a big part of a small team, where everyone takes a flexible and collaborative approach to work and is committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable and marginalised groups. Like Pause, you will be passionate about changing entrenched social issues and will respond by ‘doing things differently’.
The following criteria is essential for this post:
· Relevant professional qualification/experience in a field relevant to the work of the Pause team e.g. nursing, social work, mental health, education, criminal justice, youth work, therapeutic practice, counselling, criminal justice or equivalent
· Experience of working with families/individuals who present with a range of complex needs (mental health challenges, drug and alcohol misuse, domestic abuse) and demonstrate an ability to create rapport and build effective relationships
· Experience of case management including assessments, care planning and reviews with clients with complex needs
· Highly developed knowledge of adult safeguarding, childcare legislation and local Child Protection Procedures
· Ability to use influence and evidence to improve outcomes for Pause women
· An understanding of child development, parenting capacity, risk and protective factors
· Ability to work flexibly as part of a team

They are looking for an experienced public fundraising leader to join a newly formed Marketing and Engagement department to further develop and grow their supporter base, with responsibility for individual giving, community and sporting events.
As Deputy Director of Public Fundraising, you’ll lead a talented and high-performing team (3 direct reports), with ambitions to grow income from c.£4m to £6m over the next 5 years. About this job
In this role you will be providing emotional support and information to people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) that empowers them to; live to their full potential, take an active role in their treatment and secure the care and support they need. As part of the helpline team you will also contribute to the overall implementation of the teams objectives and successfully embedding new services.
Our helpline is open 9am – 7pm and therefore this role includes working a shift pattern of 9-5, 10-6, 11-7 or as the service demands.
Please note this is a fixed term 12-months maternity cover contract. This role is full time, part-time hours (28 hours +) will be considered.

This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home with IT provided and join Team Together Days in a co-working space in London 2-3 individual days each month. About the role:
We are recruiting for a talented Benefits and Debt Worker who has a background in supporting women or children who have experienced domestic violence to make a genuine difference to the lives of survivors. We believe in empowering women and girls to lead safe, non-violent, equal lives and you will play a key role in helping us deliver vital services to those who need them the most. As a Benefits and Debt Worker you will provide service users with advice and support on finance and debt. Carrying out comprehensive assessments, via phone and face-to-face, and you will provide advocacy and support that empowers survivors primarily during crises and in the short term. You will also proactively work with other agencies on the service users’ behalf. You will hold a caseload of survivors and work as part of our duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.
About You:
To be successful as the Benefits and Debt Worker you will need the below experience and skills:
You will have the ability to encourage user engagement with the service through proactive contact. Maintain project logs and collate data from the logs for Team Managers. Proactively assess the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have. Bring your experience of providing benefit, and debt advice and successfully, managing high numbers of calls and/or cases and have a solid understanding (possibly experience) of supporting women who have experienced domestic violence, forced marriage or ‘honour-based violence.

This part-time role is an enhancement to the existing One-Stop-Shop (OSS) with a specific focus on families, which brings together a range of organisations to work together in one location to offer advice and services to victims and survivors of domestic abuse. Currently the service operates 1 -2 day per week, offering specialist multi-agency support and with this enhancement of provision, this will enable an increase in the days the OSS is open and available, including the OSS Co-ordinator also being based in a greater variety of locations such as family hubs.
The One Stop Shop Coordinator will coordinate a range of organisations e.g. solicitors, housing, by-and-for organisations, DWP to work together in one location to offer advice and support service to victim survivors of domestic abuse. Their interaction with families will include being the first point of contact for families when they are entering the OSS, advising mothers of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies and direct them to the most appropriate service and, proactively assessing the needs and safety of children and women to ensure that any risks/needs identified are addressed.
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential
About You:
To be successful as the One Stop Shop Co-ordinator you will need the below experience and skills:
A thorough understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence (physical, emotional and sexual violence, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families and communities.
Knowledge and understanding of the needs of women and children who are or have experienced domestic abuse and the practical and emotional support needs specific to this group including, education, confidence and relationship building.
Experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a
range of stakeholders as well as experience of working within in multi-agency environment.
The ability to build and maintain a welcoming and safe environment where women, young people and community representatives can access support and make new connections.
Ability to develop and implement efficient administration processes for the smooth running of the OSS.

thrivin’ together is a UK women-only organisation led by lived experience of gambling. We offer space and time to women who actively gamble, are in gambling recovery or are impacted by someone else’s gambling. Set up as a CIC in July 2022 we have consulted with our community and co-produced support and activities for women to support a recovery with dignity, not apology.
Our approach is choice, voice and change and we seek to inspire and instil hope, ensuring that no woman in the UK impacted by gambling feels alone. We provide one to one support, group support and activities, access to counselling and Helping Hand evoucher payments. We involve our women, and they shape what we do. Currently all our work is online.
In this important role, you will manage our team to empower women by delivering responsive care, activities and support. The role will directly line manage our team through supervisions and fortnightly team meetings including the monitoring and reporting of progress and wellbeing. The role will ensure day to day administrative and operational processes are up to date and run smoothly.
The Project Manager will lead on our quarterly Advisory Board and Professional’s Network meetings and coordinate workshops and activities in collaboration with our team. The role will take responsibility as a Safeguarding Lead and will ensure policies are up to date with support from our Directors and Administrator.
Administration tasks, promoting the organisation and developing partnerships (within gambling recovery and beyond) are expectations of this role.
