You will develop and deliver an area plan that captures the importance of volunteer engagement, recruitment, support, enabling and succession planning to ultimately achieve branch growth and sustainability. You will work collaboratively with other CP regional teams where appropriate, identifying where there are opportunities to achieve more by working together.

About the Role

The Head of this team will recruit and look after all fundraisers and donors giving up to £10k. Key Tasks & Responsibilities

People Management

- Be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operations relating to the people side of retail.

- Act as the first point of contact for the volunteer administrator in relation to volunteering matters and queries for retail.
- Effectively communicate any relevant information to all shop teams regarding updates, charity activities, incentives, and performance.
- Work closely with management and employees to embed changes and ensure solutions are realistic and sustainable.
- Be able to work closely with the retail management team including the retail sales manager to ensure the people side of the charity is not impacting sales.
- Overseeing the retail portfolio sickness and absence management including allocation and approval of annual leave throughout the year, forward planning contingency strategies ensuring shops are covered all the time even at short notice. Ensuring staffing hours do not exceed there’re banding allocation.
- Be competent in assisting with grievances, supporting with investigations and assisting with disciplinaries.
- Act as deputy safeguarding lead as and when required. Be able to act in an advisory capacity demonstrating a higher level of experience and understanding when dealing with safeguarding issues that arise.
- Be responsible for overseeing and leading with probation placements across our retail sites, acting as point of contact and ensuring that the relevant paperwork is up to date including the risk assessments for each placement.

People Development

- Ability to mentor and support staff through regular one to ones ensuring that they feel fully equipped to achieve optimum success in their work.
- Collaboratively with the HR team review and update the volunteer induction and training programme ensuring all aspects are relevant to the retail portfolio.
- Support staff with capability and performance issues including the management of their own staff issues such as, sickness, disciplinary, grievances and concerns through probation periods.
- Work closely with the retail management team on the delivery of innovative and interactive internal and external training to help staff develop their skill sets and achieve career satisfaction.

Recruitment & Onboarding

- Work closely with HR developing and implementing strategies to improve recruitment, attracting suitable staff, and retaining them.
- Ensure suitable and sufficient coverage of volunteer support in the retail portfolio.
- Lead on the recruitment of new staff members, being able to assist shop managers in developing better teams and building strong foundations in line with the people strategy and recruitment and selection policy.
- Ensure that new staff members are fully trained and placed in a suitable training store.
- Monitor and track performance throughout staff probation periods alongside the retail sales manager.

The Associate Director for HR Operations is an exciting and new role at the College in which you will work collaboratively with all Divisions to support a range of operational and strategic HR activities, as well as embracing and contributing to College wide projects and the enhancement of the People & Culture Division.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an administrator to help us achieve real impact by providing administrative support to the Director of Fellowship, including strategic calendar management, inbox triaging, team operations, improving workflows and supporting with draft correspondence.

This role is based from RSA House in London for at least three days per week, with hybrid flexibility for the remaining days.

About You

What we look for in a successful candidate:

• Two-years of experience in managing a complex inbox and diary, including travel arrangements, and meeting logistics.
• Ability to prioritise conflicting priorities and tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

They are seeking a Practitioner Psychologist, CBT Therapist or Psychotherapist to become an integral part of their Dorset services. Here, you will work alongside an exceptional frontline team dedicated to supporting individuals facing problem substance use and the challenges of difficult and traumatic life experiences. As a Practitioner Psychologist, CBT Therapist or Psychotherapist, you will also be a key member of their expanding national Psychology Team.

This is a role working face to face with the opportunity to take some hours working from home. However, the right individual in Preceptorship would also be a good fit. Clinical supervision and CPD oversight would be given by the organisation’s Head of Psychology.

The post holder will also benefit from working alongside the two current psychologists in Reach, working on complex needs and mental health treatment requirements

In this role, you will:

• Support complex casework through assessment, formulation, and intervention, including highly specialised psychological assessments and trauma-responsive interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions addressing both problem substance use and concurrent mental health challenges.
• Contribute to reflective practice groups, team formulations, and psychologically informed approaches for clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Develop, pilot, and co-facilitate training, group work, and reflective practice sessions.
• Provide clinical supervision to a skilled multi-disciplinary team.
• Offer local clinical leadership, coordination, and supervision to staff, trainees, and volunteers associated with the psychology service.
• Foster a positive and supportive team culture.
• Lead aspects of service delivery and contribute to audit and evaluation efforts.

About You

They are looking for a community-focused professional who shares their values and is enthusiastic about engaging with individuals who have experienced challenging circumstances and may have struggled to access traditional forms of support. To excel in this role, you should possess the skills to provide creative and flexible individualised support, clinical supervision, consultation, and participation in reflective practice groups. You'll need to understand the importance of a holistic approach, be naturally curious, an excellent listener, clinically proficient, and adaptable.

Skills and Qualifications

• A higher education qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology accredited by the BPS.
• Registration as a qualified practitioner Psychologist by the HCPC.
• Experience in delivering highly specialised psychological assessments.
• Experience in therapeutic work with individuals who use drugs and alcohol.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience in delivering workshops, training, group work, and reflective practice.

You will be working within the Dorset offices on a Face-to-Face basis.

An experienced Utilities Administrator to lead and be responsible for the management and administration of the utilities in Nacro Housing’s residential properties including gas and electricity, water and council tax accounts along with managing other accounts.

This will include problem solving, devising and implementing solutions through the postholder developing new processes and good practice to improve efficiency and reduce expenditure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Trouble shooting on problems in relation to utilities management, especially gas and electricity supplies, changing ineffective ways of working to deliver effective and sustainable processes.  
• Establish and lead on regular meetings and develop an effective working relationship with Nacro’s contracted energy management company to hold it accountable and to maximise benefits to Nacro in relation to gas and electricity supplies.
• Provide progress reports for the Head of Housing on utilities management issues as required.
• Ensuring an accurate list of properties is maintained and updated, reconciling existing property databases, ensure changes are appropriately communicated.
• Liaison with energy companies to manage and administer, meter changes/replacements
• Ensuring gas and electricity meter readings are collected by local operational teams, then collated and passed to energy companies.
• Directing and liaison with energy companies on queries and issues relating to energy accounts and meters.

They are now looking for a Grants Officer, to join their team, on a temporary basis, initially until October 2024 with the potential of extension.

As their Grants Officer, you will work in a team of grant management professionals, alongside a manager and an experienced programme coordinator to ensure the smooth running of one of their high-profile programmes. You will be responsible for a range of tasks across the project/grants management cycle, including assessment of funding applications, undertaking due diligence procedures, processing and managing claims, making payments, monitoring projects, analysing programme data, and liaising with project staff, grantees, and funders.

To be considered for this role, you will have significant experience of working in capital or complex grant management, ideally within the charity sector or similar. You will also have experience of working on a variety of partnerships, contracts and grant programmes involving a range of stakeholders, project types and grant sizes, with the ability to manage your own workload and support colleagues in a busy team. Lastly you will have strong customer service skills and be able to understand the needs of Funders and those receiving funding.
