Reporting to the Director of Frontline Services, the Impact Specialist Lead will take the lead on the development of monitoring, evaluation and impact measurement across Your Place services, systems, quality assurances and processes. The role will involve the management and analysis of internal and external data to inform strategic decision making, provide contractual, regulatory and fundraising accountability to support the charity monitor and develop the quality of its services.
To be successful, you will have experience of developing and implementing monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks. You will be highly proficient in the use of statistical analysis packages including MS Excel and PowerBi, with high attention to detail. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, and be communicative and approachable, with an ability to deal with numerous different stakeholders. It is desirable, but by no means a necessity to have a working knowledge of a housing association of social care setting.

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Philanthropy Officer to join our growing team. Working alongside other team members, you will play a key role in enhancing the long-term sustainability and growth of Mary’s Meals. You will play a key role in supporting our National Affiliates and relationship managers, producing proposals and resources for philanthropic opportunities, corporate partnerships, foundations and HNW donors, to meet the needs of our existing donor base and capitalise on growth opportunities that arise.
You will be responsible for developing compelling funding proposals and philanthropic fundraising materials for a range of income streams. In this fast paced and varied role, you will build and develop strong relationships both internally and externally, with a view to supporting the research and development of philanthropic opportunities for funding.
Other key duties include:
- Assisting National Affiliates in establishing a portfolio of long-term partnerships that provide sustainable income for our school feeding programmes.
- Writing high quality donor proposals, applications and reports for a range of philanthropic bodies.
- Support the development of global fundraising materials that support National Affiliate growth, particularly in the corporate partnerships space.
- Supporting the communication of the impact of our work through compelling written stories
- Supporting the development of the Mary’s Meals suite of products and materials that communicate our strategy and attract funding and promoting their use across the network.
- Contributing to the development and coordination of organisational systems and processes that support National Affiliate growth in philanthropic giving.
With exceptional organisational skills, you will be comfortable working across multiple projects and coordinating contributions across all parts of the organisation and will bring relevant experience of designing and developing compelling funding proposals and reports. You will have strong writing skills with the ability to tailor your approach to a variety of audiences and bring the impact of our work, and our story, to life. You will be confident in your communications and will have the ability to engage in a variety of interactions with colleagues across the movement. - Proven evidence-based business development skills, with experience of delivering concepts that are commercially viable.
- Proven knowledge of business development and sales processes

About the role:
Communicating what the charity does is critical to their success, and this role will lead on this for three specific audiences: current and prospective donors; the local community; and the press. - Proven Marketing & Communications experience
- Experience of developing and executing a marketing and/or communications strategy

About the Team
We recently launched a new 3-year partnership with a leading UK bank, with a strategy centred on building the UK’s financial resilience. Together we aim to break the vicious cycles that leave people with poor financial health which may negatively impact their housing situation. The project aims to improve and challenge financial resilience by delivering specialist advice and intervention and gaining evidence and insight into the issues.
Our three Communities Teams are responsible for identifying, investigating and intervening in housing and homelessness practice issues. We engage with our local communities to understand the issues people are facing and apply expert housing knowledge, insight and analysis to identify solutions to them. As well as providing advice and advocacy for individuals, we also use our insight, relationships and influence to drive systemic change, always ensuring that Lived experience is at the heart of everything we do.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for providing money and debt advice, advocacy and casework to clients, including homelessness prevention and financial resilience. We’ll also rely on you to deliver housing and financial health/resilience workshops to a variety of audiences, including clients and their families, local professionals and volunteers.
About you
To succeed, you’ll need to be used to working with, and influencing, a range of internal and external stakeholders and enjoy collaborating with people from other teams and organisations. You’ll also need great time management skills, an enthusiasm for delivering workshops and presentations and a willingness to challenge practice and hold people to account. Adept at engaging with individuals and communities, you enjoy gathering evidence and identifying insights, issues and trends. What’s more, you present information and arguments in a clear and compelling way and have excellent problem-solving skills. About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity be in at the start of a new service funded by St Andrew Holborn, a local charity keen to support the provision of high quality advice services to meet the needs of people living within their area of benefit. The project is funded for three years which gives the opportunity to make connections with local partners and make a real impact on the advice needs of local people.
Our service will meet the needs of local people by offering a flexible model providing advice face-to-face in community locations and remotely by telephone. Advice areas will range between welfare benefits, housing, employment, consumer and more.
This role is hybrid working with the exact split between remote/onsite working being by agreement with the line manager to meet the needs of the project which could change over time. This role is not suitable for remote working only.
We offer this as either a Trainee Adviser or Generalist Adviser role depending on your current advice work experience. If you are not currently an experienced generalist adviser, you will already have experience of delivering Adviceline or similar services and be looking for an opportunity to train as a Generalist Adviser. You will follow an accelerated training programme to develop the adviser skills and experience needed to complete the Citizens Advice adviser training programme within the agreed timeframe and provide high quality, holistic generalist advice. You will be supported to provide the high quality advice needed to meet auditing and funder requirements whilst delivering to funder targets. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate that they meet the requirements of the role as set out in the person specification.

About the role
Project Scotland, part of the national charity Volunteering Matters, supports young people to get on in life through the power of volunteering. Brighter futures work with pupils (aged 13-16), we offer disadvantaged pupils struggling to engage with the regular school curriculum the opportunity to undertake a volunteering placement as well as the option of having a mentor. We support and empower pupils to gain skills and confidence in a new environment within the wider community, promoting a sense of belonging, whilst extending horizons and aspirations.

This role will be working in partnership with St Thomas of Aquins R.C High School, we have been delivering Brighter Futures here for two years and have funding till June 2025.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- To build relationships with secondary school pupils, particularly those on flexible timetables, who have complex and challenging barriers, acting in a non-judgemental way to support them through their Brighter Futures journey

The Disability Inclusive Development (DIDIF) programme started in July 2018 and is a six year, £29.5m FCDO funded commercial contract managed by Sightsavers DIDIF Fund Management Team (FMT). The DIDIF programme is managed using a payment-by-results and New Engineering Contract (NEC3) contracting model. It is also adaptively managed. The DIDIF consortium consists of ten partners who work on innovation and scale projects across the programme's four thematic areas: health, education, livelihoods and negative stereotyping and discrimination. We work in six countries: Bangladesh, Kenya, Nepal, Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda. The FMT is responsible for the programme's management: finance & risk; monitoring, evaluation and learning; adaptive management; reporting and quality assurance; governance; contract management; consortium management and donor relations.
The Senior Learning Advisor leads on the implementation and continuous development of the DIDIF programme's Learning Strategy (also called "the Learning Architecture"), a component of the DIDIF programme's MEL Strategy.
The Senior Learning Advisor leads on establishing the learning priorities for Learning Architecture's four operational areas (project, programme, consortium and organisation) and ensure those learning priorities meet the programme's strategic objectives. At this stage of the programme, the focus is upon delivery. Key duties include:
- Providing technical direction to all Learning Architecture projects and oversee implementation and delivery.

YMCA England & Wales is the national body of the YMCA in England & Wales, supporting, developing and representing just over 100 local YMCA’s, ranging from small community based organisations to nationally relevant specialists.
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure that YMCA England & Wales is able to mobilise the public, our federation, external organisations and young people to support our campaigns calling for political or social changes to improve the lives of young people across the country. This will include building relationships with local YMCAs and young people to ensure our work is informed and driven by those we represent, creating advocacy actions for them and the public to engage with and giving our young people a platform for their voices to be heard.
Scope and Limits of Authority:
The Campaigns Officer will report into the Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager. The post will have no line management or formal budgetary responsibilities.
The post holder must operate at all times in accordance with the approved policies and procedures of YMCA England & Wales and act in accordance with the values and ethos of the organisation as outlined in the Code of Conduct. In addition all employees must adhere to the performance management processes and systems approved by the Board of Trustees.
The post holder will support the Safeguarding, health and well-being and safety of staff, volunteers and supporters we work with, some of whom may be classed as vulnerable people or adults at risk. ● Contribute to the development of YMCA England & Wales’ national campaigns strategies.
● Project manage and deliver the public mobilisation elements of our campaigns and influencing strategies.
● Create online actions to support the campaign strategy on Engaging Networks, our advocacy software, from petitions to emails to MP.
● Lead the content and development of our online campaigns community, ensuring that they are active and engaged on the issues we are working on.
● Create and develop campaign materials such as videos, images and toolkits - including the recruitment, curation and stewardship of our case studies.
● Manage the production process of campaign materials from copywriting and design to printing and delivery.
● Engage with local YMCAs to ensure that they are active in supporting our campaigns.
● Develop materials, training and deliver one-to-one support to local YMCAs to engage in our campaigns.
● Manage the recruitment and onboarding of our YMCA Youth Ambassadors.
● Plan, deliver and evaluate a programme of training and activity throughout the year for Youth Ambassadors, including an annual residential.
● Ensure the voice of young people is central to our campaigns.
● Work collaboratively across the organisation with other teams to ensure our campaigns are fully integrated.
