FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. Together, we take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to nearly 9,500 frontline charities and community groups.

The role

We have recently set a new 3-year strategy, leading to a major transformation of the organisation. To support this, we are building a new Project Delivery function and investing in key capabilities, including project management and business analysis. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead large, complex projects from inception through to delivery, and mentor colleagues managing smaller projects. A key part of your role will be to introduce and champion new project management methodologies and governance frameworks, supporting colleagues to adopt these practices in a supportive, non-bureaucratic manner.

This role is a hybrid role, based in London or Sheffield but will require regular travel across the UK to visit different FareShare sites.

About you

You are an experienced senior project manager with a strong background in delivering large, complex projects, particularly those involving technology. You have a track record of delivering project benefits and influencing stakeholders at all levels. As a self-starter, you can quickly build relationships and drive projects forward. You are patient and supportive, able to guide colleagues through new project management methodologies and governance frameworks. Experience in business analysis and change management is beneficial.

About the CORPORATE FUNDRAISER role:

This is a remote role with occasional travel.

This role will provide both account management and new business support within the corporate partnerships function of the relationship fundraising team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Relationship Fundraising (which consists of corporate partnerships, community & events and philanthropy) the successful candidate will have responsibility for the account management of our small/medium corporate partnerships as well as supporting new business income for the team.

We have ambitious growth plans for corporate partnerships at Royal Voluntary Service and this role will provide crucial support to the team to help make this happen.

• Provide best in class account management to our current small/medium corporate partnerships.
• Play a key role in supporting the team to drive our new business pipeline – writing proposals, building relationships and inspiring corporates to support Royal Voluntary Service.
• Provide support to the Head of Relationship Fundraising and Corporate Partnerships Lead to manage and help secure high value partnerships.
• Lead on the use of Raisers Edge within Relationship Fundraising.
• Link with colleagues across fundraising and wider departments in order to provide the best possible support to our corporate partnerships.

About the role

Alongside the Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service.  You will support the Service Manager to manage and ensure the delivery of the service’s key quality and safety priorities by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the residential activity/service. You will also have delegated responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of a team of support workers. As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and their colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an exemplary role model.

As a Deputy Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service.  You will be required to do on-call shifts during out of office hours. You will be expected to work 20% of your total weekly hours on shift across your assigned services and will be able to role model all aspects of a support worker role duties and responsibilities. Following your time on shift, and in general practice at all other times, you will have responsibility for reporting back to the Service Manager and for maintaining a continual dialogue loop of feedback that focuses on quality, and continuous improvement and learning and ensuring the smooth operation of the allocated group of services.

A full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, is essential for the role.

• You will have significant, recent experience at a front-line management level in field of learning disabilities in regulated services which may have included being a Registered Manager

• You will have knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, CQC regulations and Health and Safety issues.

• You need to hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or hold a level 3 diploma and be willing to undertake this level 5 apprenticeship qualification within an agreed reasonable timescale of 18 months as part of a development plan

Horsham Matters - Overview

 Horsham Matters is a local Christian charity that works to prevent and relieve poverty throughout our district.  We do this by the provision of essential services such as food, fuel and household goods, providing advice and guidance to households in need, and working with partners to address the root causes of poverty. Our work is funded by income generated through donated goods which can be sold in our shop or online, by grants and donations and through public fundraising.

 Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is a critical role to ensure the smooth running of all our operations.  Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for leading a team of staff, volunteers and 3rd party contractors.  You will strive to continually improve systems and procedures across the Charity whilst maximising opportunities to increase income.

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), which will also require some weekend working (approx. 8 Saturdays/year).

Core Responsibilities:

Operational leadership:

· Line management of Logistics Team including performance management, building capability and training etc.

· Ensure smooth communication and excellent links across Charity buildings

· Ensure the optimal use of the vans for delivery, collections etc., including the planning of routes which are cost effective and time efficient

· Work with the Office Manager team to ensure that the needs of clients requiring household items are met by the Logistics team

· Work with the Store Manager to ensure that the Charity store is stocked appropriately, including arrangements for stock rotation

We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join our Delivery Leadership Team as Programme Lead: Education. You will have a strong background in education, curriculum development, and stakeholder engagement, as well as a keen interest in promoting the wellbeing and resilience of young people. Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities 

The Director of Programmes, Policy and Advocacy is a senior leadership and strategic role within CIUK.A key member of CIUK Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with overall responsibility for the programmes, policy, and advocacy.The role is responsible for providing leadership to the directorate, contributing to the development and implementation of organisational Strategy, raising income from FCDO and other institutional donors, contract delivery and compliance, and safeguarding focal point on the leadership team. The postholder will provide expert support and advice to the CEO, the Board and the Impact and Transformation Sub-committee of the Board across programme, policy, and advocacy. Together with fellow SLT members the Director has collective responsibility for the delivery of the CIUK strategy, ensures effective cross organisational work to this end, and ensures CIUK becomes a great place to work, supporting an anti-racist, feminist, diverse and inclusive organisational culture.

Within the confederation, the post-holder is an important voice in shaping and influencing organisational thinking, policy, and operations within the CARE International confederation, being a member of the Global and European Programme Directors working groups.

CIUK’s restricted income from donors is significant and is CIUK’s largest income stream. As such, the post holder must be an expert in the delivery of restricted-funded programming and in particular in the ways of working of FCDO as a donor, and have the ability to influence senior donor counterparts. They must have significant experience of working for an INGO like CARE to deliver complex programming in challenging contexts. Our largest programmes are complex multi-partner consortia in fragile contexts with budgets of up to £60m.

As a leader of a large team, the role-holder requires strong people leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate strategy into action, motivate colleagues and demonstrate to team members how their role links to organisational strategy and objectives.

Your experience of leading a significant programme function within the international development and humanitarian sector is essential.You will also have experience of working with FCDO, growing institutional income, and overseeing a significant portfolio of grants and contracts.You will have deep knowledge of feminist and locally led approaches to development, some experience of advocacy and policy making, and a passion to put women and girls at the heart of development.Your strategic leadership, inspiring people, effective financial, and change management experience, will come together to make you a strong candidate to lead this circa 50 person team with over £200m under management. Previous experience within the CARE confederation would be welcomed.

The Director of Programme, Policy and Advocacy is a senior and strategic role and a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with overall responsibility for providing leadership to the directorate and contributing to the development and implementation of organisational strategy and effective cross-organisational work.

The role provides expert support to the CEO, the Board and the Impact and Transformation Sub-committee of the Board. Within the CARE confederation, the post-holder is an important voice in shaping and influencing organisational thinking, policy and operations within the CI confederation, being a member of the Global and European Programme Directors working groups.

CIUK’s restricted income from donors is significant and is CIUK’s largest income stream. As such, you must be an expert in the delivery of restricted-funded programming and in particular in the ways of working of FCDO as a donor and have the ability to influence senior donor counterparts. You must have significant experience of working for an INGO like CARE to deliver complex programming in challenging contexts. Our largest programmes are complex multi-partner consortia in fragile contexts with budgets of up to £60m.

As a leader of a large team, the role-holder requires strong people leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate strategy into action, motivate colleagues and demonstrate to team members how their role links to organisational strategy and objectives.

Role Summary:

• The Communications and Marketing Officer post is in the Communications and Marketing team, within SafeLives’ External Relations Directorate. 
• The Communications and Marketing Officer supports the delivery of our key messages to advance our mission of transforming the response to domestic abuse.
