We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take on the fixed-term role of Head of Programme Delivery and Operations (North of England and East Midlands) for our centres in North West England, Nottingham and Peterborough, West Yorkshire and East Yorkshire and the Humber. You will line manage the Regional Operations Managers in your regions to ensure that centres are working effectively, that the high quality of programme delivery to young people is maintained across the cluster, and that targets are monitored and met. And of course, you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people and helping them achieve their ambitions.

We are looking for a consistently reliable and organised professional to join our team in this important post. You will be working closely with the Partnership Programmes Manager to ensure our vital employer relationships and school/college activities (mainly across west London) are well coordinated and managed.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. Throughout, we enable young people to explore their choices, rights and expectations in relationships and to recognise the early warning signs of abuse. 

We have grown rapidly in recent years, and now have an exciting and varied programme of work which is funded from a wide range of sources. We have long-standing, high-value relationships with organisations such as the Mayor’s Office, Esmée Fairbairn and Clifford Chance, and continue to grow our income from a range of supporters from trusts, foundations, corporates, individuals and community fundraisers.

We now have a need for an Officer to work closely with the Development Director and CEO in developing our corporate income stream, building on strong, established corporate partnerships and developing new ones, to generate both earned income and corporate donations. You will also work closely with our Corporate Advisory Board, which includes a diverse, ambitious group of professionals who are supporting us to maximise our corporate income stream. This role will involve a diverse range of work, from identifying prospects, creating compelling funding approaches and workforce training pitches, through to successfully managing relationships with corporate partners.

The main purposes of the Development Officer role are:

• Working with the Development team to collectively achieve annual fundraising targets exceeding £2m per year
• Selling workplace training and donation opportunities to corporate partners across a range of industries, but in particular the legal and financial services sectors
• Supporting the CEO and Development Director to increase Tender’s workplace training delivery in order to achieve income targets through sales
• Contributing to applications and events in support of fundraising from other sources

Westway Trust are seeking a full-time Communications Manager who will work closely with the Head of Communications and Marketing to develop and deliver annual Communications, Marketing and Engagement plans that demonstrates and promotes Westway Trust strategic priorities.

This is a pivotal role in the organisation with responsibility for managing the multimedia and digital ecosystem at Westway Trust; generating regular, creative and engaging multimedia content whilst line managing a small team.

You will be a creative thinker with strong communication skills, with considerable experience of using Adobe Suite programmes or similar.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

Multimedia creation and management

Quality Control

• Follow brand guidelines for videos, social media artwork and written content. Including updating content for other teams before public publishing or distribution

Digital Communications Support

• Internal: Supporting other teams with external & internal communications and content creation

Experience, knowledge and skills:

• A minimum of 12 months' line management experience
• Experience and/or qualifications in multimedia production, including:

The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors at high risk of harm. IDVAs work with their customers from the point of crisis by safety planning and risk assessing using the DASH to ascertain the level of risk to the victim.

What you'll do:

Manage client referrals, completing Dash Risk Assessments and obtaining and maintaining all relevant paperwork.

What the job involves

As the leader of a flexible and multi-skilled team, a mixture of Health Influencing and Policy specialists you’ll use your expert knowledge and skills to maximise the positive impact that we have in shaping health policy and practice to effectively deliver on our strategic priority to maximise our positive impact for men with prostate cancer.

You’ll provide effective and timely analysis of a wide range of complex policy issues, identifying policy developments that we can and should influence, or that we should support the implementation of, to further our impact with our communities. You will promote understanding of the health and care system among internal staff and our external communities and audiences.

You’ll grow our ability to successfully influence key stakeholders for the delivery of our strategy, particularly NICE for approval of new treatments. You’ll ensure that the team have strategic relationships with health stakeholders across the UK (e.g. Cancer Alliances/Health Boards) so that we can proactively engage them to support the delivery of our strategic priorities and rapidly react to care issues that arise.

You’ll bring an excellent understanding of the different health services, policy and systems across the UK and how these can be influenced. You’ll be an excellent communicator and presenter, credible at senior levels with external stakeholders and partners.

BEfriend is seeking a Befriending Coordinator to join our Befriending Project aimed at combatting isolation across the London Borough of Ealing. 

We have been operating in Ealing since 1994, and are proud to celebrate our 30th anniversary this year!  Our Befriending Project supports people who are isolated and experiencing chronic loneliness. It provides a lifeline to people living alone who might go for days at a time not seeing a single person. 

Key Tasks:

• Client Assessments: You will support a caseload of clients from their initial referral through to the end of their time with us. This will involve processing referrals, conducting assessments, matching with volunteers and conducting ongoing six-monthly reviews. You will provide regular telephone contact whilst they are on our waiting list and signpost to appropriate services as required.
• Matching and Coordination: You will interview potential volunteer befrienders and work with the Lead Coordinator to successfully link them with individuals in Ealing who are experiencing isolation. You will monitor the matches through monthly reports from the volunteers and six-monthly client reviews. 
• Support and Supervision: You will provide support to the volunteers when required, particularly during the first month of their match. After that you will conduct six-monthly reviews and ad hoc support.

The Prince’s Trust is currently going through an exciting period of development. We have ambitions to grow our offer to young people by providing a blended approach of face-to-face and digital delivery and support. To help us on this journey we are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to lead our dynamic teams to work with young people either directly through 121 work or the delivery of programmes.

This role will involve leading a small team of staff working with education and referral partners to support young people in Southampton, Portsmouth and the surrounding area. We are passionate about flexible working but it’s worth being aware that this role will be based in the Solent and you will be required to regularly travel across the patch to support your team.

As part of the Leadership Team, the Delivery Managers are responsible for overseeing the delivery of our programmes. Working collaboratively to develop and implement our delivery plan and ensure we meet targets. As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for our Team and Achieve partners, supporting them to engage with young people who need our support. You will also oversee our outreach team, working with local partners to recruit young people onto fantastic programmes. You will be a role model for your team, demonstrating best practice in how we work with young people in a safe way to ensure we deliver maximum value for young people and partners.

A background in Further Education provision would be good, experience of cultivating and maintaining a broad range of partners would be lovely, the ability to build a high performing and motivated team would be excellent.

To be successful in the role of Service Delivery Manager, you will be able to engage in challenges with optimism and resilience and be adaptive and flexible – embracing change and innovation.

Summary of Role:

The ICT Officer will provide the first line technical support and ensures smooth ICT operations across the organisation. The role encompasses troubleshooting hardware/software and network issues, whilst managing devices via Microsoft Intune and maintaining Office 365 applications. Additionally, the ICT Officer is responsible for setting up and maintaining meeting room equipment, managing IT assets and ensuring security compliance. This hands-on position requires regular presence in the office to support the organisation’s ICT needs.

About the Role:

1. Provide first-line technical support to end-users.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and networking issues
3. Respond to and resolve staff queries in a timely manner
4. Ensure devices are up to dates, particularly with security patches and updates in the security centre.
5. Assist in settings up and configuring PCs, monitors and other hardware.
6. Manage office 365 applications and the admin centre.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Educated to Bachelor’s degree level.
2. Proven experience in a similar help desk or IT support role.
3. Proficiency in managing devices using Microsoft Intune.
4. Strong knowledge of Office 365 applications and the admin centre.
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.
6. Good team work skills with the ability to work with different and sometime conflicting agendas.

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, an additional service will be set up within the NHYC Youth Justice team specifically to deliver on the Alliance contract. This will include a team of Housing Caseworkers who will carry out assessments and advocacy work with young people under 25 who are fleeing violence and exploitation, in order to move them on successfully into both emergency and long-term housing options. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as clients’ homes, hospitals, care homes and within community settings across the area to meet with clients and professionals.
