About Us:
Since 2006, ROLDA has dedicated itself to aiding vulnerable stray animals in Romania, one of Europe s poorer nations. Our mission includes rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Our EU-standard shelters, inspired by British designs, can house up to 700 stray dogs, providing them with complete veterinary care and preparation for rehoming.
We have supported over 48,000 animals and built two dog shelters and one for disabled and senior cats. Additionally, we offer small grants to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We primarily rehome animals in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. By addressing the root causes of animal homelessness through neutering programmes and educational initiatives, we have significantly reduced overpopulation, helping over 40,000 cats and dogs in Romania and Ukraine.
Job Overview:
As the Volunteer Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and impact of ROLDA through volunteer engagement. This is a remote position that requires strategic thinking, people management skills, and a commitment to achieving our charity’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Volunteer Recruitment and Management:
- Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers to support ROLDA’s various programs and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a volunteer database using CRM systems to track volunteer activities and engagements.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, building strong relationships with volunteers and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and necessary resources for successful completion of volunteer initiatives.
Community Awareness and Fundraising:
Promote community awareness about ROLDA’s mission and activities through public relations and public speaking engagements.
Organise fundraising activities and events to support ROLDA’s financial goals.
Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager to support income generation growth.
Operational Support:
- Maintain effective communication with the UK and international team of ROLDA and its partners, collaborators.
- Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to volunteer management and charitable activities.

This position is offered as an FTC for up to 6-months, in which you can choose to conduct this full-time or part-time and will report to the Executive Director of Services & Support.
As the Head of Services (Helpline), you will lead the operational delivery and strategic development of the charity’s portfolio of information, emotional, financial, and other support services to people affected by a chronic disease of the central nervous system. To be successful in this role, you will have a track record of successfully leading and managing a large, geographically dispersed services function in the voluntary or public sector to deliver high quality results. You will ideally, have experience running or overseeing a national helpline, together with an impressive track record of delivering innovation in service design, development, and measurement. You should have experience of implementing quality standards, including the Helplines Standard, as well as experience of managing the development, delivery and continuous improvement of public facing, multi-channel information and support services across the UK to a diverse audience.

Welsh Programme Coordinator
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Welsh Programme Coordinator to implement the fundraising strategy for an important charity.
Position: Welsh Programme Coordinator
Location: Remote working with some travel required for in-person meetings and events when appropriate.

About the role:

Engagement Lead Health Inequity

The Role
The project has recently been through the research and design phase and is now ready to implement a number of tests to address health inequities experienced by Stroke survivors following their stroke. The project exploration and design has taken a collaborative approach with our NHS colleagues, the Engagement Lead will continue with this approach.
Reporting to the Associate Director for the South West & Channel Islands, the Engagement Lead will:
· Lead and oversee the project tests, measuring the impact with an ability to adapt and flex as the project develops.

The client is currently working with 33 schools and 33 churches in developing discipleship pathways for children and young people in Bolton. One key aspect of this project is the ‘Shades Project’, which focuses on racial justice and faith, supporting schools and churches in developing a culture for all children and young people, regardless of racial background, to thrive and flourish. In response to the exciting growth of the Shades Project, they are looking to appoint a Shades Schools Worker, to support the growing opportunities for Christian discipleship, and to embed the Shades ethos, in primary and secondary schools and parishes in Bolton deanery.
The Shades Schools Worker will work with the Shades team, in primary and secondary schools, delivering Shades Collective Worship and Shades ‘Safe Space’ workshops. The Shades Schools Worker will also work with Bolton parishes and mission communities to promote the Christian message of God’s love for all of his children, encouraging children, young people and adults to celebrate their God-given identities and to grow spiritually.
The Shades Schools Worker will have many opportunities for training and development, as well as the creative freedom to develop initiatives for children and young people. The post holder should have experience of volunteering with children or young people in a church and/or school context. They will have a good knowledge of anti-racism and racial justice and a strong passion for a combined focus on the Christian faith and racial justice as well as experience of working with diverse communities.

We are seeking a Mission Enabler, Regional Mission to work in partnership with key staff across the Movement. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Associate to provide programmatic support to a portfolio of Internews’ projects in the Europe & Eurasia (E&E) region. The role will be part of the Internews’ headquarters E&E Project Management

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, the Digital Experience Lead will help to make a mark on the transformation and future proofing of all Stroke Association websites and microsites whilst helping the digital marketing team to maximise income, supporter recruitment and retention too.
Key responsibilities include:
· Ensure a consistent user experience across all sites.
· Work with the in-house website manager, UX manager, SEO, Content, agency as well as design and development teams to embed our brand and digital guidelines
· Set the standard for website journeys through UX, content production, SEO and website management.
· Support our website experience managers to edit and approve submitted website designs and content within an SLA.
· Be responsible for website governance
· Champion Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) ensuring our website content follows best practise and considers our Search Engine results pages (SERPs) position.
· Provide guidance and technical support to help internal users make the most of existing digital platforms and adopt changes to digital solutions and processes.
· Bring together and manage the optimisation of all sites including our main website and third party microsites
· Lead on the organisation’s analytical and tracking tools
· Lead on the development of digital partnerships
· Line management of your allocated team members
· Set standards for design, development and delivery of digital products and services
About You
You will have experience of:
· Advising on the effective strategic development and utilisation of digital products for marketing and communications.
· Development, delivery and management of digital products and strategies which support organisational goals and objectives.
· Actively championing continuous improvement and data-informed
· Decision making, test-and-learn.
· Successfully developing digital strategies which support organisational objectives and increase traffic and revenues.
· Line management and cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teamwork.
This role requires some travel for team away days.
