We are looking for a dynamic Strategic Funding Specialist to join our Funding, Philanthropy, and Partnerships team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of securing crucial funding for transformative projects across 45+ countries, focusing on humanitarian aid, co-financed projects, and unrestricted funding. As a Strategic Funding Specialist, you'll craft compelling proposals and concept notes that resonate with major donors, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
Your work will directly support high-impact initiatives, from emergency responses to long-term development projects. You will also play a key role in managing and reporting on strategic grants, ensuring the highest standards of programmatic quality and donor engagement.

We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Team Coordinator to join our Nursing & Quality team on a 6 month FTC basis. This role can be hybrid from our London office 1-2 days a week or remote across the UK. The ideal candidate would be able to start quickly in this role.
As a Quality Assurance team Coordinator, you will coordinate and support a broad range of activities across the Nursing and Quality team. You will assist and support the team to ensure good governance and provide organisational intelligence for improvement and learning.
You will also assist and support in planning and evidencing a trained and competent workforce, ensuring that our services provide safe, high-quality and clinically effective care, and deliver an optimal patient and carer experience.
In this role, you will:
- Collate and upload data and information from a wide variety of sources (for example, benchmarking, clinical audit results, complaints, incidents, safety and compliance data
- Assist in the writing of key reports and documents that provide assurance to the organisation, internal divisions and service teams, and external stakeholders of the quality of care.
- Support clinical teams in undertaking a range of quality activities, e.g. by supporting good incident record keeping through the incident review process, providing data and analysis, gathering and processing relevant information
- Proactively manage and disseminate relevant information, data, and records
- Support key aspects of the Associate Directors and Head of Patient and Carer Experience workload
- Provide secretarial cover for committees and key working groups. Ensure that a summary of matters discussed, and actions are recorded.
- Act as the administrator for the Nursing and Quality databases. Train and support staff in the use of these, and run regular reports from these databases.
- Maintain the Nursing and Quality SharePoint site
- Support with various administration duties, e.g., setting up meetings, booking training events, arranging travel and accommodation, liaising with colleagues in other departments, logging team training records, etc.
- Establish good working relationships with members of the Nursing and Quality Directorate, and other teams within Marie Curie that collaborate to ensure and promote quality.

- Ability to build strong working relationships across a team with a team orientated approach to working
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information in a clear and easily comprehensible manner
- Good time management skills, positive approach and an ability to take on a number of varied tasks, prioritise accordingly, and work to tight deadlines

This role provides advice and advocacy to LGBTQ+ people who contact Stonewall Housing because they are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The goal is to help people understand their rights and navigate their housing options in order that they have somewhere safe to live. People usually contact us because they are in crisis, the Case Worker’s job is to calmly assess their housing needs, provide them with immediate advice and sign posting and, where necessary, provide advocacy case work to ensure they get access to what they are entitled to.
Key Responsibilities
· To provide a high quality, flexible and responsive advice and case work service to LGBTQ+ people, supporting them to exercise their rights and get access to safe accommodation.
· To assess the individual needs of each person and provide a bespoke advice and advocacy plan.

· To ensure a high level of customer care and practice at all times.
· To develop links with relevant external agencies.
Main Duties of the Post
Casework Sessions
· To give holistic support to LGBTQ+ people accessing our advice and advocacy service and to provide proactive support to these service users who are sometimes hard to engage.
· To assess each individual’s current housing situation and form a view with regards to risk associated with their case.
· To explore all options available to the service user allowing them to make informed decisions.
· To work with LGBTQ+ people accessing the advice and advocacy to develop and review individual work plans and risk assessments.
· To have regular case work sessions to provide structured support, in relation to Housing specific issues.
· To liaise with other service providers ensuring service users receive the necessary support to sustain their accommodation, acquire relevant independent living skills, maintain or improve positive physical and mental health and access into meaningful occupation of their time.
Liaison with Landlords / Other Agencies
· To support service users to report repairs and work with landlords and advocate where necessary.
· To support service users to contact local authority, voluntary and private sector landlords to report anti-social behaviour issues and advocate where necessary.
· To support service users to present to local authorities as homeless, where appropriate, and advocate where necessary.
Other Duties
· To establish and maintain accurate and complete records in all areas of work
· To complete statistics for the collation of performance and funding information
· To maintain up to date knowledge of legislation and regulations in relation to funders and other key areas.
· To participate in individual and clinical supervision meetings, annual appraisals and training

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Experience
· Lived experience, or experience of working with homeless or vulnerable LGBTQ+ people, in a voluntary or paid employment setting
· Lived experience, or extensive experience of working with LGBTQ+ people.
· Experience of providing advice and advocacy support to vulnerable people in a professional setting
· Experience of working with and delivering services to a diverse client group with a wide range of support needs
· Experience of supporting people who have faced LGBTQ+ discrimination or hate crime
· Experience of lone working and working as part of team
Essential Knowledge
· Knowledge of Housing Legislation and how it applies to those experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness
· Knowledge and understanding of the causes and effects of homelessness, particularly in relation to LGBTQ+ people
· Knowledge of the current benefits available to single people
· Knowledge of common themes, trends and issues within supported and shared accommodation
· Knowledge of pathways into medical and social support for LGBTQ+ people
Essential Skills and Abilities
· Ability to provide a range of housing related advice and advocacy services, i.e. assessment, developing and using opening letters, support planning, case working, independent living support, welfare benefits advice and providing resettlement support
· Ability to manage challenging behaviour and complex needs, report and raise incidents and safeguarding alerts
· Ability to prioritise and maintain case work across multiple service users at the same time
· Excellent recording and reporting skills to accurately reflect work with young people
· Excellent written and verbal communication with vulnerable people

· To be resilient in regard to working with challenging behaviour from service users who may have experienced trauma leading them to be mistrustful of support providers

The role will provide generalist social welfare advice to people referred into the Centre’s Social Prescribing service. The role will focus on what matters to the individual and take a holistic approach, providing welfare benefits, housing, debt, food and energy advice.
The Generalist Advisor will work with the Centre’s Advisor and Caseworker and refer to agencies at a specialist level including immigration, legal advice and debt as well as support individuals to access a range of services and activities in their local communities.
The role will build collaborative relationships with GP practice staff, including supporting the delivery of social welfare advice training to enable health professionals to identify and connect people experiencing hardship with the support they need to improve their circumstances and prevent problems developing into crisis.
The role will help shape the Bromley by Bow Centre’s Social Prescribing service so that it reflects the changing environment and helps reduce health inequalities locally.

As a result, we have been awarded contracts to deliver Personal Wellbeing Services for North and South Wales. These services will involve a range of support to community offenders and prison leavers including families, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle and associates and social inclusion (including meet at the gates).
About this exciting opportunity
Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.
We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales. Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.
What we are looking for
• Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
• L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent
• The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
• An ability to work sensitively with clients applying trauma-informed strategies
• Impressive IT, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.

About the Role:

About the Role
The Reconnect Worker works closely with the Deputy Prevention Services Manager and the housing team at Adur and Worthing Council, you will be responsible for setting up and running our new Reconnect service. Through offering a structured support package including family mediation, you will help young people to return, or stay in, the family home, and where not appropriate we will enable young people to rebuild support networks vital to successful independent living.
You will work collaboratively with all Depaul colleagues and services across the region, as well as with external agencies, to build and maintain a caseload of clients experiencing family difficulties and at risk of homelessness. You will work with clients facing a variety of situations, including young people who are experiencing a breakdown in their family relationships and are experiencing homelessness for the first time, as well as those who have left their homes and are temporarily staying with our volunteer Nightstop hosts.

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day-to-day management of our Young Peoples Ofsted registered service, including line managing the relevant front-line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.

What you'll do:
- Lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
- Deliver effective supervision and team meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting and communication
- Responsible for the personal development of staff, identifying high performers and feeding into the organisation's succession plans
- Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) required as part of the Contract are met and recorded correctly
- Develop key business relationships with all appropriate relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities in own patch
- Participate in and monitor the initial and continuous assessment of needs and ensure that support planning is carried out in line with assessed needs of the customer
- Carry out other administrative tasks as relevant to the service and directed by the Contract/Heads of Operations

- Ensure that all safeguarding cases are managed in line with safeguarding protocols and are reported to Contract Manager/Head of Operations, as appropriate

The team is vital to the long-term income growth of the organisation; recruiting new individual givers through audience led communications across a range of activation channels.
About the Role:
As our Senior Marketing Officer (Supporter Activation) you will project lead our highly successful water bill insert campaign (managed in close collaboration with the Water Industry Partnership Team). Overseeing the delivery of these campaigns from briefing through to post-campaign analysis, as well as the development of new ideas to maximise the opportunities offered by this relationship.
You'll support the Marketing Manager and wider team in the day-to-day development, management and delivery of a number of fundraising campaigns. In particular our successful DRTV programme, managing the relationship with our telemarketing agency and support in planning and delivery of new creative.
You'll also:
- Managing our response handling agency to ensure effective conversion of response for our DRTV campaigns through regular monitoring and testing; providing training and development and analysing results regularly.
- Manage agency relationships; overseeing the management and development of any campaigns from briefing through to post-campaign analysis, collaborating with external partners, taking responsibility for resolving queries, trafficking all stages of the project and escalation of potential problems.
- Help develop and manage expenditure and income budgets. Help create the budget, to monitor monthly management accounts and key performance indicators and to undertake reforecasts as required.
- Regularly monitor, evaluate and analyse campaigns, providing regular results and recommendations for strategy development based on reviews and analysis.
- Liaise with team leaders and project managers in other departments to identify and implement new cross-working opportunities utilising specialist knowledge and experience in direct marketing.
- Remain up-to-date about developments in the external market-place and assess the suitability of new, innovative approaches for recruiting supporters to remain competitive.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that all supporter communications are consistent with the WaterAid brand, working closely with the International, Policy and Campaigns, and Communications teams.
About You:
- Successful track record of working in a direct marketing role, including proven experience of planning and executing campaigns across different channels, including digital.
- Experience of managing telemarketing, call handling and large-scale print campaigns
- Experience of managing creative development, including writing creative briefs, working with creative agencies, ensuring the correct sign off procedures are followed, and appropriate stakeholders consulted.
- Project management experience including identifying opportunities and managing through to implementation.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently, to manage varying competing priorities and meet strict deadlines with often changing priorities.
- The ability to work as part of a team and collaboratively with a diverse group to deliver cross-organisational projects or objectives.
- Excellent numeracy skills with attention to detail and experience in monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience managing external suppliers.
Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:
- Experience of working in the voluntary / fundraising sector.
- Experience of delivering supporter direct mail and communication programmes.
- Experience managing new product development and/or innovation projects.
- Empathy with and understanding of overseas development issues.

About this exciting opportunity
Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.
We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales. Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.
What we are looking for
• Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
• L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent
• The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
• An ability to work sensitively with clients applying trauma-informed strategies
• Impressive IT, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.
