The London School of Economics Students Union is looking for a highly organised, efficient, and motivated individual to help provide high level executive and administrative support for the unions chief executive officer, officer team and senior leadership team. 

You will provide high level executive support, including diary, meetings and agenda coordination, inbox management, minutes and note taking, creating briefing notes and reports, and managing actions trackers.

In addition, this role will provide administrative support for special projects for the senior leadership team. 

You must have a proven track record in delivering excellent project management skills, able to work across teams and to drive projects forward.
 

In particular this role will support the Head of Communities and Partnership coordinate the partnership and department delivery programme of work with LSE academic departments.

METRO, in partnership with Turning Point, NAZ and London Friend, deliver a model of sexual health support throughout the three London boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. Turning Point is the lead partner for the contract, and a matrix staffing model is in place. The post-holder will work within

the partnership and be line-managed by METRO SASH Counselling Manager, and work alongside staff from other agencies. The role will also be clinically supervised via an independent supervisor arranged through METRO.

The post holder will deliver high-quality person-centred service within a busy inner London environment. The clients are from diverse communities affected by sexual health and mental health issues. The role will support staff to work with people from diverse communities such as LGBTQ and Black and Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) people.

Job Purpose: To provide Information & Advice to older people. The service is primarily office-based but may also include outreach or home visits; providing support to the Volunteer I&A Advisors, providing office cover as required and supporting the I&A Advice Case Supervisor in keeping our information resources up to date.

The IT Support and Logistics Associate facilitates the deployment of Jangala's Big Box and Get Box systems globally, supports equipment logistics, and provides crucial support to our projects team. This role is crucial in helping partners get - and stay -  connected in remote contexts worldwide

We are now looking for looking for an experienced and dynamic Pan-London Specialist Housing Caseworker to join our highly successful Advice Casework Service.

The Advice Casework Service provides trauma-informed, intersectional, woman-centred, rights and strengths-based advocacy and advice that supports survivors on their unique journey of healing and growth. The work is delivered through a commitment to an anti-oppressive, feminist framework that strives to address additional barriers and meet the diverse range of survivors needs, understanding the specific support needs of each survivor. We are passionate about social justice and being part of dismantling systems and structures which oppress survivors, and Caseworkers play a key role in identifying current issues affecting survivors in London and opportunities for change.

As a Caseworker you will work with young women (18-30) who have experienced any form of violence against women and girls (VAWG), providing medium and long-term practical, emotional and advocacy support. You will amplify young women’s voices and create a non-judgemental and creative space where survivors are free to be their authentic selves, safely explore their rights, options and impact of their experiences, and make informed choices about their future. You will manage a caseload of young women, as well as lead in delivering our one-off drop-in specialist practical support to sessions to young women as part of the Voice and Choice Project.

About you

The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing specialist advocacy support to young people, have an excellent insight into the needs of survivors of VAWG and to be passionate about delivering creative face-to-face sessions to young people. We are an ambitious hospital charity with an exciting opportunity to join us on our team as a Fundraising & Events Assistant.

We currently raise between £1-2m a year for East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust which has four sites local to Hertfordshire: Lister Hospital (Stevenage), New QEII (Welwyn Garden City), Hertford County Hospital and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (Northwood). About you

Ideally you will already have experience in an administration or customer service role and looking to start a career in fundraising. Ideally you will be looking for 37.5 hours a week and can work flexibly including some evenings and weekends to support at fundraising events. Main duties of the job

· Provide support to the department on a range of administrative tasks including, dealing with enquiries (postal, telephone, email, face to face), opening and sorting post

· Represent the charity at internal and external events which includes attending third party and charity owned events, school presentations & promotional activities, this will include some evenings and weekends.

· Manage all event bookings for the Hospital charity corner area. Ensuring area is booked and that stallholders are sent guidelines and relevant certificates sought from suppliers and provide support on the day

· Process one-off and regular donations from both online and offline sources ensuring procedures are followed and information is recorded correctly onto the database

· To assist the fundraisers with administration of staff lottery, gifts in kind, raffle and prize led promotion and fundraising as required including managing gift drives.

· Create an equipment inventory, monitor stock levels and liaise with suppliers to order/receive goods necessary for carrying out team fundraising activities (using oracle)

· Support the team with staff initiatives and giveaways including setting up ballots on the charity website

· Visit all our hospitals regularly to support the team with fundraising activities and ensure our branding is visible and up to date

· Ensure the database is kept accurate and up-to-date by recording changes including mailing preferences, address details and financial information

· To manage all collection boxes in the community, ensuring they are logged in and out correctly and recorded on the database. To work with the fundraisers to increase income in this area

· Thank individual supporters and organisations timely and courteous manner and record these communications on the database. This includes sending out fundraising packs, event invitations and event confirmations.

· To recruit and manage volunteers, ensuring they undertake rewarding tasks which are both motivational for the volunteer and cost effective for the charity

· To support the Marketing and Communications Manager by generating content for marketing purposes including social media and producing basic marketing materials
