Ruils is a user-led charity based in the Richmond and Wandsworth boroughs that supports disabled children and adults and the elderly to live independently, be part of their community and to live life to the full. We support disabled people to take control of their care and support, by helping them to employ their own Personal (care) Assistant (PA). A PA may help someone to get up in the morning, get ready for work or leisure activities and/or help around the house.

We are looking for an enthusiastic results driven person who is eager to learn and develop.

Main Duties include:

• Helping disabled and elderly people to live independently by employing a PA to support their needs.
• Helping clients to set up and manage their social care budget.
• Encouraging, supporting and advising clients with any issues that may arise when they have a PA.
• Facilitating the DP Peer Support Group to ensure clients feel supported.
• Developing links and professional relationships with Social Work teams.
• Working with agencies to set up support for clients who may not wish to employ a PA directly.
• Assisting in the development of training and other resources to support employers to manage their DP and PA relationships.

This is an exciting and challenging position, which will be pivotal in growing the acquisition programme as part of our 5-year strategy. Working closely with the rest of the A&W team and wider stakeholders, such as the Communications team, media and creative agencies, you'll help to optimise acquisition activity as we scale up investment in this area. This is an opportunity for someone to help make a real difference to a varied programme using a test and learn approach.

In addition to leading DRTV, this role also involves delivering a variety of other important activity as required, such as inserts and welcome journeys. There are opportunities to turn your hand to a range of channels and product promotion as we aim to scale up channels such as inserts.

Criteria

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. You’ll enjoy looking for ways to optimise all elements of campaigns from creative, content and media testing and able to act as a key point of knowledge in this area. Experience of DRTV is required, with an understanding of individual giving fundraising KPIs, including in relation to: DRTV, print, telemarketing, email and landing pages. You will be confident working with data with attention to detail and accuracy, from briefing data criteria for emails to using excel to review and share results. You will also be able to engage wider stakeholders in our acquisition testing plan development, providing clear regular communication to update on progress and learnings.

Most importantly, you’ll be keen to deliver insight and audience-led, best in class fundraising campaigns to help Brooke realise an ambitious acquisition growth programme.

Purpose of the role

As a member of the Business Support Team, the post holder will work closely with our leads and their teams to understand and support organisational and programme requirements across our diverse and exciting areas of interest.

The post holder will work closely with others to plan, anticipate and deliver high-quality support across a range of NDTi projects and work areas. They will pro-actively contribute to organisational life and maintain NDTi’s reputation for excellence with our clients and stakeholder.

Key Activities

• Liaise and work with leads with confidence, replying to external and internal queries where possible and escalating others as needed. Keep in regular contract with team members ensuring that they, alongside external stakeholders, understand the support the post holder can provide.
• Gather the necessary information to complete key contractual paperwork throughout the project lifecycle, including contract set up and the prompt receipt and processing of client contracts. Work with the Finance Manager and relevant lead to ensure that invoicing schedules and billing particulars are up to date, that client specific activity reporting is completed accurately, and NDTi’s schedule for delivery is maintained.
• Maintain a schedule of project outputs and work to ensure reports, events and other deliverables are planned and delivered on time, liaising with colleagues across other work areas where needed.
• Plan, organise and effectively project manage regular events of both online and residential including at scale.
• Use existing and emerging technologies and established practices to set up and plan events, ensuring prompt co-ordination and confirmation of arrangements with venues, participants and presenters.
• Lead the process for delegate and stakeholder sign up, liaising with leads to ensure good representation and attendance levels are achieved. Work with the lead to ensure any specific requirements, for example, allocation of places and accessibility needs are managed and met.
• With the project coordinator, work to deliver the event on time and within budget. Keep leads updated, alerting them to potential overspend or other issues, such as take up/attendance levels that could impact the success of the event, as they arise.
• Actively update website and other source information about our team, our work, our events and our resources, ensuing they are up-to-date, and are in keeping with in house and project specific branding guidelines.
• Assist the Marketing and Communications Manager and wider team to connect with partners, stakeholders and groups with an interest in NDTi’s work via online platforms.
• Organise and lead on the booking process and internal organisation of CLS Network workshops and other Network-wide meetings.
• To manage all CLS invoicing ensuring data from contracts is transferred to an invoice and ensuring invoices are logged within the database.
• Collect data in relation to attendance across the CLS sites at Network wide events and workshops and provide regular reports to Network members and CLS team members as required.
• Attend large gatherings in person, lead the setting up and liaison with the venue and provide the welcome and any support to participants to ensure they get the most out of the experience.

Our mission is to help children and young people have a fair chance to be who they want to be. We do this by providing a safe home, increasing life skills and self-confidence, and improving emotional wellbeing and mental health.

This is an exciting opportunity to join two well-established teams, YMCA Dialogue and the Single Point of Access (SPoA) service. We are looking for a Dialogue Project Administrator to provide vital administrative support to the SPoA team in Worthing, whilst also providing an important link between YMCA and SPoA and ensuring that both services work together effectively to provide wellbeing and mental health services for children and young people. 

In delivering the role, you will provide efficient administrative and organisational support for YMCA Dialogue. This role will sit alongside colleagues from West Sussex County Council and Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust in the Single Point of Access (SPoA) for emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children and young people across West Sussex.

Hybrid role - working for a minimum of three days on site with the SPoA team in Worthing and the remaining days from home (Some travel across West Sussex may be required from time to time). Your expected working pattern will be Monday to Thursday, 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm.

About the role

Our volunteers and tutors are fundamental to TAP’s work and the sessions provided by our volunteers and tutors are key to the impact we have on our students’ outcomes. The volunteering and group tuition function is responsible for all stages of the volunteer and tuition process including recruiting volunteers and group tutors, training and onboarding them and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience.  Volunteers and tutors work online with students in one-hour long sessions, supporting them with either academic studies or providing skills-based coaching.

The role 

We are seeking a Director of Business and Income Generation to join the team at an exciting and ambitious time for the hospice.

You will be a vital member of the St Richard’s Hospice Executive Team to lead the teams that generate our income and build and develop relationships across supporters, donors, fundraisers, customers, employees and volunteers.

You will develop, shape and deliver the Income Generation strategy to ensure:

· we grow sustainable income streams to underpin our services

· the people in Worcestershire know how they can offer their support to St Richard’s, helping us to ensure our care and support reaches more people in the future and is sustainable.

This role is perfect for a leader who is keen to advance their professional career whilst leading the development of our highly valued income generation functions. This is a challenging but exciting time to be joining St Richard’s.

About You

About Us

Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) is a registered charity with offices in Cardiff and Swansea. We provide Independent Mental Health and Mental Capacity Advocacy Services across most of South Wales, employing 44 employees.

About You

You will have significant experience working with vulnerable adults and/or children, either within health or social care setting, or indirectly, for example as a carer. You will understand and have experience of working effectively in an intra-agency context with Health and Social Care Professionals.

Previous direct experience in the role would be preferred but training will be provided.

This is a Specialist role to provide support to adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. The post holder will ensure the person feels empowered, their voices are heard and human rights are protected, in line with the context of Independent Advocacy as set out in the Advocacy Charter and Code of Practice.

The role

This is an exciting time for us and a rare opportunity to join a “new” charity that has the profile, assets, and mission of an established one. Person Specification - 

Knowledge and experience
We are looking for candidates with demonstrable strategic financial leadership spanning organisational planning, budgeting, risk, and reporting. You will have:
• A recognised financial qualification. Excellent knowledge of charity financial management, procurement and contracting at a senior level is ideal but not essential.
• Experience of effective budget setting and implementing controls and processes to manage and monitoring budgets.
• Advanced understanding of risk management.
• Experience of improving policies and processes in comparable organisations.
• Success in delivering increased cost effectiveness.

Role Summary

The Videographer/Editor is a member of the Into Film Production Team and is responsible for filming and editing content for the Into Film website, training courses, social media and, when required, for advocacy, broadcast and press.

Due to the nature of the role and the need to collaborate on projects face-to-face, the Videographer/Editor will be mainly based at our London N1 office, although it will be possible to work from home when schedules allow; please note that occasional weekend and extended working hours are required, along with occasional travel across the UK.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with the Video Production Manager and Production Lead to plan, shoot, edit and deliver video content for a range of Into Film products, including in-school events, educational/careers resources and training, screenings and Q&As, the Into Film Awards, and the Into Film Festival.
• Work collaboratively with the Video Content Manager to enrich all future content.
• Provide sound creative and technical advice in response to creative briefs to ensure high quality, creative films are delivered on time and to brief.
• Work with the Production Officer to develop their skills in shoot and edit work, as required.
• Ensure all produced content is compliant and cleared for use.
• Advise Producers with regards to safety matters on productions/events and contribute to risk assessments, taking action to mitigate against identified risks where necessary.
• Work with the Production Lead and Video Content Manager to create content that meets an agreed brief covering diversity and representation.
• Be an integral and supportive member of the Production Team.

General Responsibilities:

Person Specification:

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lead film shoots as a single camera operator with a good understanding of lighting and sound recording in a variety of situations.
• 2+ years' professional experience of filming and editing short and long form content.
• 2+ years' professional experience of working with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience of producing short form content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
• Experience of colour correction and sound mixing. 
• Working knowledge of rights clearance for audio-visual production.
• Ability to work with colleagues and respond to feedback to produce content that meets the needs of the target audience.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable:

• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud programmes, such as After Effects and Adobe Audition.
• Experience of colour grading using DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience of creating content for an educator audience.
• Experience of working with/in the charity sector.

JOB PURPOSE

The Programmes Assistant within Programmes will provide efficient, flexible and proactive administrative and organizational support to the Director of Programmes and to the two Deputy Directors (Programmes and Advocacy). He/ She will be responsible for the Director of Programmes’ diary management, for organising various internal and external meetings, including meeting agendas, setting up translations and minute taking, as well as, providing follow up summary notes and action trackers. This will include the Programme advisory group meeting, countries Board meetings, Programmes regular meetings and many other various meetings within Programmes.

Examinations Coordinator (Clinical)

As Examinations Coordinator (Clinical) you will support the Overseas Examinations Manager by coordinating the operational delivery of all aspects of MRCPCH clinical examination activity, engaging clinicians to deliver examinations to the required standard, on schedule and to budget.

This is a crucial role within the Clinical Assessments Team as you will undertake routine forward planning to work with the Overseas Examination Manager to support hosts for exams and related exam preparation whilst also supporting the recruitment, training and performance review of MRCPCH examiners.

With line management responsibility for two administrators, you will provide input into monitoring and evaluating each clinical exam delivered, to ensure standards are maintained and candidate and examiner feedback is captured, whilst identifying and reporting on key concerns for future improvement, development and delivery.

In addition, you will provide committee administration support, including developing schedules for committees, ensuring they adhere to RCPCH Governance arrangements.

Educated to A-level standard or with relevant experience in a similar role, you will have outstanding communication skills and be adept at managing stakeholder relationships.

With an awareness of the principles of effective project management, risk mitigation, risk management and governance, you will be able to find pragmatic solutions, seek improvements and adapt to changing situations.

You will also have the ability to act to minimise errors and inaccuracies, whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and correctness in dealing with information and data.

Your excellent report writing skills will enable you to present information in a fluent and persuasive manner to people at a range of levels.

A good knowledge of topics relating to assessments and exams along with previous experience in exams and/or assessments would be desirable.

The College offers two qualifications: Membership (MRCPCH) and the Diploma of Child Health (DCH). The Clinical Assessments team supports candidates to register, apply for and sit their clinical exams - whether in the UK and Northern Ireland, or in a growing number of countries internationally.
