About the team:
The Individual Giving department is part of the Fundraising and Marketing directorate and brings in approximately £88m per annum through regular giving, one off gifts, prize-led fundraising, community and events and legacy and in memory. They report to Regional Supporter Relations Managers and, ultimately, the Head of Community Supporter Experiences.
What you need to know:
As the role is primarily customer-facing, the SRO is based at the rehoming centre. However, they spend a portion of their time in local communities. This role involves frequent travel, both locally and across the UK, including some overnight stays, as well as weekend and evening work. A full UK manual driving licence is essential. Please note that working days for this role are Monday and Tuesday.

Responsibilities
- Provide effective coordination and delivery support to the Student Space programme.
- Working closely with the Senior Programme Managers and wider team members to ensure successful delivery of programmes.
- Be the first point of contact for Student Space Programme enquiries, being responsible for incoming and outgoing communication, fielding and distributing to other team members accordingly and responding as directed.

Home-Start is committed to promoting the welfare of families with young children to enable them to have the best start in life. We are recruiting a Family Support Coordinator to help us provide targeted, specialised support to families in Barnet, who could be struggling with any of a range of issues. This includes those with children under the age of 5, expecting parents who may be experiencing poor mental health or families with complex circumstances with children up to the age of 19.
Our Coordinators are integral members of the Home-Start team, as well as wider teams of professionals from universal and specialist services to provide a coordinated response to families’ needs. They assess need and carefully match volunteers with families. This may include instigating Early Help assessments and attending case planning meetings.
Coordinators work with their own volunteer team, ensuring they are supported and fully trained to achieve the best outcomes for families and, in particular, the children. Coordinators work with families in their own home. They are skilled in recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns, be apt in completing strengths-based assessments and conversations. They also have a deep understanding of the issues families can face and the link with childhood development and difficulties they may experience later in life.
The post holder will build on our existing work and our relationships in Barnet, to deliver a volunteer-led home-visiting service and related activities to local families. This will require a good working knowledge of the borough, community partners and agencies. You will ideally be co-located in one of the community centres or community venues but will be required to travel around the borough regularly. Coordinators will allso participate in weekly family groups in each borough, based in the children's centres and family hubs.
We are recruiting a Coordinator for Barnet to cover a period of secondment until 31st March 2025. However, there may be an opportunity for this to be extended further subject to funding. The work is largely field-based, but will require regular days in the office which is in Finchley, Barnet.

The Role

This is an exciting new opportunity to work in Clinical Help in Schools in the Brent Wellbeing and Emotional Support Team.
Brent – Wellbeing and Emotional Support Team
The Wellbeing and Emotional Support Team (WEST) is a service commissioned by Brent Council focusing on improving the wellbeing of children and young people aged 0 to 18 years (or up to 25 years with a Special Educational Need or Disability) in identified vulnerable groups including children and young people with learning disabilities, at risk of exclusion, looked after children and those who are at risk of multiple vulnerabilities such as child sexual exploitation, gang affiliation and domestic violence. The service offers brief evidence-based individual and group interventions for children with mild to moderate needs and their families.
We are currently recruiting a Wellbeing Practitioner to join a highly respected team. The role will be suited to those individuals with skills and experience of working directly in schools/community and with hard-to-engage populations who may have withdrawn from education and their local community.
Location
The work will be a mixture of face-to-face work in community settings (predominantly schools) and home-based virtual appointments. Attendance at meetings and supervisions at the Brent Civic Centre (Engineers Way, Wembley HA9 0FJ) and Anna Freud London office (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH) will be required.

Location: London Support Office (hybrid working - 2 days per week from the office) or where any MSI country programme operates.
Full-time: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday for UK based team members (for other countries the working hours will be in line with the local labour law).
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £46,000 - £59,600 per annum for UK based candidates. Discretionary bonus + benefits. For all other locations, the salary will be banded within the national context.

About the role
Solent Mind’s Training offer has grown considerably in the past few years. We take pride in delivering great training and raising awareness about mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. We generate an income for Solent Mind services from companies across Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.
In this part-time role, you will work between 13 and 15 hours per week (to be worked flexibly). You will be based in Southampton combined with hybrid working (to include at least two days per month in the office).
About you
As admin support for the team, you will be key to the smooth day-to-day running of the Training team. You will be well-organised and able to prioritise tasks to ensure training customers get a great training experience. You’ll also be a natural problem-solver and good communicator as you will be in regular contact with customers, trainers, finance and the wider Solent Mind team. Ideally, you’ll have worked in a similar role and have confidence using a CRM and a range of Microsoft tools such as Excel, Office, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.

About the role
Location: Hybrid role in our Warrington Office, covering a national telephone based service.
Our invaluable service operates seven days a week covering Monday to Wednesday 9am-8pm, and Thursday to Sunday 9am-5pm - it’s the first point of contact for anyone calling us who has been diagnosed with Dementia or their immediate families, friends and carers. The Warrington office holds a team of people who are passionate and want to improve the life opportunities of people living with dementia and those close to them.
During these calls the Adviser will assess their needs sensitively, guiding them to other services and networks in their local area where necessary. At times these calls can be emotional and challenging for a number of reasons, so patience and compassion is needed to build trust with the caller and get the best possible outcome for everyone concerned.
The service also receives calls from local community services and national services seeking support and guidance on all aspects of Dementia and those affected by the condition.
Additionally, the role involves making outbound calls and providing clear, well thought out responses to email enquiries.
All aspects of the role should be performed with the individual in mind and delivered in line with the objectives and performance measures set by the service manager.
About you
The successful candidate should be an empathetic, motivated and professional individual who wants to make a difference to those affected by Dementia. Whilst the criteria below are not essential, they will be beneficial for the advisor role:
- Previous experience in a telephone-based or customer facing role
- Ability to communicate to a wide variety of individuals and be able to adapt language stye to suit a diverse range of people
- Ability to actively listen, capture and accurately record important information
- Competent in using computers / Microsoft applications
- Familiar with CRM Systems (Customer Relationship Management)
- An understanding of Dementia
- Experience working within Health and Social Care.
This role is a hybrid role, meaning you will be visiting the office at least two days a week and working from home for the rest. Our service rota also includes evening and weekend working as part of a rota.
