In this role, you will develop and sustain partnerships, promote our work, report on social value impact, and advise partners and companies on delivering social value. Collaborate with Group functions and regional teams to integrate social value into our products and services, and guide partners in identifying and reporting social value outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the delivery of Group Social Value Strategy.
- Working with the Business Manager and Group Social Value Manager, engage with Scottish Procurement Alliance’s partners and appointed companies to understand their social impact priorities and perspectives,
- Assist in delivering the Community Benefit Fund by identifying social value projects, distributing funds, and reporting on community impact.
- Follow business's social value measuring standards to effectively report on social impact using sector-recognised methodologies.
- Contribute to developing Group policies, procedures, and standards related to social value management and reporting.
- Provide guidance and training to Scottish Procurement Alliance staff on social value principles and practices.
- Offer social value advisory services for Scottish Procurement Alliance partners and appointed companies.
What You Need:
- Relevant experience in corporate social responsibility, social impact, and innovation, with evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge of social value approaches and measurement frameworks used in the public sector.
- Demonstrable understanding of the importance of social value in securing positive change.
- Experience in working with the public sector, charities, housing, or construction is beneficial.
- Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience, with a strong academic background.
- High level of IT literacy, proficient with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work sensitively with confidential information, with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Collaborative team player with a flexible approach, able to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

About the Role
The Retail & E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for creating a seamless digital shopping experience and online customer journey that creates loyalty through best- in-class customer service and by providing a range of gifts that meet the needs of current and future members and supporters. They will effectively manage the performance of the retail operations, ensuring net profit is maximized in line with Mothers’ Union strategic objectives and values. This role will have a particular focus on developing new customer channels and will need a strong understanding of digital marketing and using data and insight to grow sales.
About you
You are an experienced retail professional with a proven track record of delivering growth of retail sales across multiple channels. Working knowledge of managing a shopify retail business is essential along with experience in retail buying. An understanding of the importance of brand management with a strong commercial focus combined with understanding of the need for Mothers’ Union to achieve its charitable objectives Motivated by a genuine passion for the work of Mothers’ Union, you bring resilience, positivity, and a can-do attitude to everything you do. Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

The NGSN Communications and Partnerships Manager role is crucial to the successful coordination and delivery of the communications for GambleAware and the National Gambling Support Network (NGSN). About the role
The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD), hosted at the UN Foundation, is a dynamic international partnership of over 700 organisations. GPSDD connects stakeholders to address data gaps and harness opportunities for sustainable development.
In 2018, GPSDD , Sightsavers and partners, launched the Inclusive Data Charter (IDC) to promote inclusive, disaggregated data for better understanding and addressing the needs of marginalised people. The IDC has grown significantly, with commitments from over 30 Champions.
Sightsavers, a co-founding champion of the IDC, prioritises inclusive data to support its health and inclusion strategies. The Programme Manager - Inclusive Data will work across GPSDD and Sightsavers, managing strategic programmes and partnerships to advance inclusive data initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee IDC strategic planning and delivery, ensuring team collaboration with the IDC Technical Advisor and Advocacy Lead.
- Manage relationships with IDC champions, facilitating their engagement through regular calls and meetings.
- Foster partnerships between IDC champions, GPSDD partners, and other organisations to share experiences and strengthen inclusive data systems.
- Lead the IDC impact and learning pillar, capturing and sharing progress through data stories and knowledge products.
- Oversee budget development, monitoring, and reporting for IDC and Sightsavers, making resource allocation decisions.
- Collaborate with the IDC Advocacy Lead to identify advocacy opportunities and plan major IDC events.
- Support the Technical Advisor in providing resources and tools for Champions to develop and implement inclusive data action plans.
- Facilitate engagement of IDC co-facilitating partners, including GPSDD, Sightsavers, the UK’s Office for National Statistics and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
- Lead Sightsavers’ inclusive data portfolio globally, engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Line manage the Inclusive Data Project Manager and Inclusive Data Operations & Planning Coordinator, overseeing workplans and progress.
- Stay informed on trends in data disaggregation and inclusive data, including the SDGs and the goal to leave no one behind.

About you
The Programme Manager will provide programme leadership for the Inclusive Data Charter initiative, ensuring the development and delivery of agreed plans. You will coordinate the engagement of co-facilitating partners and ensure effective participation by Champions in Charter management. Additionally, you will advance reporting and learning mechanisms to track progress against Champion Action Plans.
The Programme Manager will oversee Sightsavers’ inclusive data programme at a global level, offering strategic leadership across the portfolio. Strengthening relationships with internal stakeholders and external strategic partners will be key to advancing organisational objectives and enhancing Sightsavers’ leadership in inclusive data.
Jobholder Requirements
Knowledge (education and related experience)
- Demonstrable experience in strategy, project management, advocacy and/or communications in international development or foreign policy
- Team leadership and staff management experience, preferably in a decentralised environment
- Proven ability to coordinate stakeholders across sectors and geography
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with people from a wide variety of organisations, cultures, and with a wide variety of functional expertise
- Experience with the Sustainable Development Goals, international development or work with marginalised groups required
Skills (training and competencies)
- Exceptional project & programme management skills, as well as writing and communications
- Ability to work in a networked team and with partners around the world virtually and in-person
- Ability to organize and prioritise work and manage time effectively with little supervision

We have a new role available for a Romanian speaking Deputy Manager to join an exciting organisation.

About the Role
You will work with Westminster rough sleeping services, including street outreach and assessment hubs, to identify clients who wish to return and are suitable to be referred into the service. This will include participating in weekly late night/early morning street outreach shifts.
You will assess referrals to ensure prospective clients meet Acasă eligibility criteria, then help them to prepare to reconnect. This will include gathering necessary documentation, making travel arrangements, engaging with consular services and in some instances traveling to the airport.
On occasion you may also link clients up with services that could support them in Romania. You will work with a high degree of autonomy towards delivering outcomes for clients, being flexible in your approach and tailoring the service to individual client’s needs and aspirations.
A personalisation fund will be available to provide some material support to clients. e.g. clothes, short hotel stays and subsistence. This will set up clients to return with dignity and for success in their home country.
Key responsibilities include:
· Ensuring that Acasă delivers excellent performance and a high-quality service with a measurable positive impact
· Working with Depaul colleagues to continuously develop the service, including drafting reports and presentations on the service
· Creating relationships with and working closely with local authority partners, as well as building relationships with colleagues in central and regional government, as well as organisations in Romania
· Working flexibly, for example by joining late-night and early-morning street outreach shifts
· Responding promptly to referrals, undertaking in-depth assessments to assess suitability for the service and to inform support planning.
· Enabling clients to access support from a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies while they are in the UK
· You will use a personalisation fund to provide clients with material support e.g. clothes, short hotel stays and subsistence
· Managing this fund, as well as the wider budget including travel costs.
· Compiling and presenting monitoring reports for funders
About You
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
· Fluent Romanian speaker.
· An understanding of the particular challenges and discrimination faced by Roma people.
· Experience working and building trust with homeless or vulnerable people.
· Experience in taking responsibility for operating safeguarding requirements and procedures.
· Experience in working under pressure with the ability to respond to conflicting demands, find creative solutions using own initiative.
· Experience in working creatively to tailor services to individuals.
· Knowledge of the immigration and housing issues faced by non-UK nationals sleeping rough.
· Ability to administer a budget over the course of a project.

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Alton shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.
About you
You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. You’ll also need to showcase a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and have a creative eye for displays. About the role
SSAFA’s Network & Community team, operating across the UK, are proud to announce this role as part of their strategic development plans.
This is a new fundraising opportunity to help provide support for serving personnel, veterans and their families ensuring that no-one battles alone.
Supported by the Head of Network & Community Fundraising, this role is fundamental in developing, supporting and championing new and existing fundraising from health providers and local authorities. The aim is to increase income generation in this area whilst raising SSAFA’s profile within local authorities and health care provision. This initiative will require effective leadership, relationship development and a knowledge of bid writing skills to lead a team creating effective proposals for support.
SSAFA is entering into an exciting period of strategic development within this proven income stream. If successful, you will manage a small team with potential for further career development.
There will be an occasional need to travel across the UK and to work evenings and weekends at key events.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has management experience and understands the nuances of applying for local authority and/or NHS Commissioned funding. You will be leading a small, dynamic team who thrive on challenge. We are seeking a determined, highly motivated individual, with a track record of securing significant funds. A natural communicator with proven success of bid writing and presentation skills. A confident networker, who is able to represent the charity to external stakeholders, build strong relationships by communicating effectively across the region whilst working from home. An ability to self-motivate and motivate others with a can-do attitude is a must.

Job Purpose:
To develop and implement strategies to raise funds through community engagement and events. You will work with the fundraising team to identify opportunities, build relationships, and execute fundraising initiatives that support MyVision Oxfordshire’s objective of supporting visually impaired people in the county.
Duties:
- Engage with the community and build relationships with our supporters.
- Organise and support fundraising events (to include community and challenge events).
- Work with our Communications Officer and other colleagues to promote fundraising events and initiatives.

- Support our volunteer-led Fundraising Committee.

An opportunity has arisen to lead and run our Reachout Youth project, delivering weekly groups for young people aged 13-19 who are experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties. The groups are an informal, fun, confidential space where young people can meet and chat, participate in feel good activities and receive helpful information and tools. There are two groups a week, one on Thursdays in Tunbridge Wells between 4.30pm – 6pm and another in a community venue or a school in Tunbridge Wells or Tonbridge, details to be confirmed.
You will have experience of working with young people, and the ability to facilitate groups, plan and deliver creative activities that engage young people and encourage participation. You will have excellent communication and administration skills. We are looking for someone energetic, positive, warm and welcoming, who is able to deal with challenging situations with confidence.
The role is for 13 hours per week, for delivery of the groups, dealing with referrals, client support, planning, administration and supervision. Some flexibility to work from home outside of the groups is possible, although this is an office-based role.

About this role
Following the significant development of EduSpots’ income and activities in the last year, we are looking for an experienced finance and operations professional to provide exceptional support to the Chief Executive Officer, Head of Development, and Head of Operations (Ghana-based) to ensure the development of robust financial and operational systems, policies and processes.
The candidate can work from any location, but will have a strong knowledge of UK law and charity accounting in an international development charity context. You will be a self-starter, able to work independently on tasks assigned, whilst proactively suggesting improvements to our systems, policies and wider strategic development.
We are looking for a team player with a genuine desire to contribute to greater educational equity, with a strong personal alignment to our organizational values of teamwork, care, play, passion, community leadership and sustainable impact.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Work with the UK Finance Officer (volunteer) and Ghana based Finance Manager and Head of Operations to oversee global finances, so that consolidated management accounts and donor financial reports can be produced.
- Support with the roll-out of new accounting software and reviewing intercompany financial processes to ensure accountability and compliance with recognised accounting standards.
- Support with bank account management and reviewing funds transfers.
- In future, possibly manage staff payroll, including tax and pension contributions.
- Oversee the onboarding and screening of new staff, contractors or volunteers in the UK and other locations outside Ghana, including reference checks, criminal records checks, preparing contracts, etc.
- Review and keep organisational policies and procedures (including staff handbook) up to date, staying abreast of any changes in the wider external legal and operating environment.
- Monitor compliance to organizational policies and escalate compliance and operational risks to the CEO.
- Monitor and renew insurance cover.
- Support with other tasks related to finance and operations as time permits.
Personal Specification

- Qualification in accounting, or working towards one.

- Knowledge of governance requirements within a UK charity, and of working in compliance with the Charity Commission of England and Wales.
