About the Role:

This role is a hybrid working role and is based at our Old Street offices, Islington, London for a minimum of one day a week and at our hospital co-location St Helliers Sutton subject to operational demand. As a Domestic Abuse Service Manager you will be:

• Effectively managing and developing a high quality, innovative and pro-active domestic abuse service for victims and their children, including those at highest risk.
• Managing a team of IDVAs providing regular supervision, case review and support.
• Demonstrating strong leadership and management skills/ experience with a resourceful pro-active attitude and ability to use own initiative.
• Ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with the service specification and performance targets set by the services funders, as well as in line with SafeLives criteria for delivering domestic abuse services. The services will also be in line with Victim Support's policies, IDVA procedures, business process and plan.
• Ensuring that the service prioritises the safety, security and dignity of service users and their children.
• Taking the lead in crisis situations and providing advice and guidance on risk, safeguarding issues and information sharing GDPR concerns.

What the job involves

As the leader of a flexible and multi-skilled team, a mixture of Health Influencing and Policy specialists you’ll use your expert knowledge and skills to maximise the positive impact that we have in shaping health policy and practice to effectively deliver on our strategic priority to maximise our positive impact for men with prostate cancer.

You’ll provide effective and timely analysis of a wide range of complex policy issues, identifying policy developments that we can and should influence, or that we should support the implementation of, to further our impact with our communities. You will promote understanding of the health and care system among internal staff and our external communities and audiences.

You’ll grow our ability to successfully influence key stakeholders for the delivery of our strategy, particularly NICE for approval of new treatments. You’ll ensure that the team have strategic relationships with health stakeholders across the UK (e.g. Cancer Alliances/Health Boards) so that we can proactively engage them to support the delivery of our strategic priorities and rapidly react to care issues that arise.

You’ll bring an excellent understanding of the different health services, policy and systems across the UK and how these can be influenced. You’ll be an excellent communicator and presenter, credible at senior levels with external stakeholders and partners.

We’re looking for someone experienced in developing and managing influencing strategic programmes, working across team and organisational boundaries ensuring the ranging evidence collected is used effectively to provide a strong analysis. 

You’ll have experience of influencing significant service improvement or policy change at a national level, including the approvals process for new treatments. You’ll be familiar with identifying, interpreting, and critically appraising a wide range of evidence and data to provide sound analysis of policy issues.

Job role
We are looking for a creative and passionate communicator who can help us tell the story of Fight for Peace, and amplify the voices of young people and our brand across a variety of media and formats. This role is vital to Fight for Peace’s work in engaging young people and supporters, raising awareness of the talent and potential of young people, and keeping the team of staff informed of what’s happening across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be proactive and creative, have excellent interpersonal and storytelling skills, proven experience in content production, and a passion for supporting young people to thrive.
While they will be based at our Academy in east London, they will also have the chance to work on projects highlighting Fight for Peace’s work around the UK, in Jamaica and in Brazil.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Content and Storytelling
● Develop social media content capable of engaging Fight for Peace audiences and
raising awareness of the organisation’s work and mission, working alongside
colleagues and young people.
● Research, write and publish regular website articles aimed at telling the story of

Fight for Peace’s work and approach.
● Work with local and national media to amplify Fight for Peace messaging and
reach wider audiences.
● Work with young people and the Creative Lead, supporting the production of films
and other creative content.
● Manage social media channels and website, monitoring analytics to inform digital
strategy and making updates where required.

Brand
● Promote and elevate Fight for Peace brand by managing design projects, creating
communications assets, and shaping messaging and collateral (working with internal
team and external designers).

● Monitor the use of brand internally and externally to ensure Fight for Peace, our
community and young people are represented appropriately in messaging and visual
assets. Support training and guidance of colleagues in use of brand where necessary.
Internal Communications
● Work with colleagues and utilise a range of tools and techniques to ensure that the
Fight for Peace team of staff and young people are informed of what’s happening at
the organisation, as well as key initiatives, changes, messaging and news.
Management of self
● Develop knowledge, personal skills, time management, being an advocate
and representative of the organisation.
● Be effective within a role: learning, well organised, excellent communication.
● Provide line manager with updates on progress of work as well as challenges faced.

THE ROLE

The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for leading the London team’s overall fundraising strategy and activities. The role requires the postholder to motivate and support their team, and ensure regional and individual fundraising targets are met, in alignment with Islamic Help’s fundraising strategy. Tempo Time Credits started 15 years ago and is an ambitious movement that empowers, encourages, and engages people from all walks of life, from communities across the UK, to get involved and volunteer. For example, befriending or helping to improve outdoor spaces. Volunteers earn Tempo Time Credits as part of a reward and recognition which can be exchanged for a range of services and activities provided by our local and national partners.

In these challenging times, community support is more crucial than ever. Tempo stands at the forefront having engaged with 40 commissioned programmes, collaborated with 1,500 charities, empowered over 15,000 volunteers, issued over 1 million Time Credits, cultivated 750+ business venues offering rewards, and pioneered the world's first national Time Credit network.

Funded by Heritage Lottery, the project you'll work on focuses on working with heritage organisations across Neath Port Talbot to increase the number and diversity of their volunteers and to recruit and retain them in a sustainable way.

Key responsibilities:

• Building and Maintaining Relationships: You will build and maintain relationships that support Tempo objectives, seek to understand stakeholder requirements, and support organisations face to face providing advice and guidance around Time Credits.
• Communicating & Influencing: communicate openly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, create local social media content and newsletters, persuade others using evidence-based knowledge.
• Volunteer Management: You will manage a team of local volunteers in each locality that provide on the ground support and add capacity in the local community.

The Community Partnership & Network Coordinator will have proven experience in managing and building relationships with stakeholders from third, public or business sectors, and monitoring business plans and budgets. The successful candidate will be able to work with senior executives and Government officials, plan and juggle multiple projects at once, and have knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will have attention to detail, planning and organisational skills, and will be able to negotiate both internally and externally.

You will have strong account management skills and have experience of managing or working with volunteers. You will be experienced in working within a role with a varied, demanding workload with the ability to adapt to change, deliver results, and work independently, as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will be proactive and passionate about communities and creating positive, lasting change, with an awareness of the voluntary sector and its opportunities and challenges.

The role is part time and could either be 3 or 4 days (between 21 and 28 hours) with flexibility on when those hours are done, such as 21 hours over 4 days. The role will be subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check.

Job Purpose: 

The purpose of this role is to project manage the WAGGGS European Guide Conference (EGC) and the Europe Guide and Scout Conference, jointly with the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and the Vienna Scouts.

More about the event:   

The EGC and the EGSC are delivered together as a 4-day event with some elements online. The event will take place in Vienna, Austria in July 2025 in partnership with the host organisation, the Vienna Scouts. This is the main platform for decision makers in our 42 European Member Organisations to gather for networking and consultation on the direction of travel. The International Commissioners (IC) Forum will take place from 5-8th December in Malta and is the platform for stakeholder engagement prior to the conferences.   

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Project manage the delivery of the in-person EGC to ensure that the event fulfils the objectives and is delivered on time and within the WAGGGS budget.

2. Manage relationship with WOSM and the Vienna Scouts to ensure communication is smooth and that WAGGGS’ input to the EGSC is provided within agreed timelines.

3. Build and manage relationships with WAGGGS staff, volunteers, partners and Membership Organisations, including working closely with volunteers around the Conferences.

4. Manage the budget for the EGC. 

5. Manage logistics and coordinate the content of the EGC in collaboration with Europe region staff team and volunteers.  Support the EGSC with these elements.

6. Support the development of the event risk assessment. 

7. Oversee the conferences’ circulars in collaboration with communications colleagues. 

8. Coordinate and monitor conference planning team in collaboration with the conference Lead. 

9. Ensure the conferences comply with WAGGGS visual identity.

10. Support with the registration process and conference inbox where needed. 

11. Create an evaluation survey and draft the final EGC report in additional to providing input into the EGSC report. 

12. Support the organisation of the IC Forum in partnership with the lead organisation, WOSM and the host organisation, Malta Guides and Scouts.  This will include final logistics & final content planning arrangements, input into post-event evaluation.

You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. You will join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the people living with muscle-wasting conditions, and their families, in Scotland. The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.

Key Activities:

• Support the delivery of the internal communications and engagement strategy 
• Coordinate the day-to-day requirements of the organisation's SharePoint:-
  • Content – publish content that aligns with publishing standards

The Website Manager role:

An exciting role as we take our organisation forward with a new website with improved UX and UI. Main Purpose of Job

The Young Carers Project Worker will be responsible for planning, orgnaising and delivering sessions for young carers in the Northolt and Greenford areas of Ealing. They will provide individual and group support in a variety of settings in the local community as well as working closely with schools to identify new young carers and drive referrals to the project.

About You

You will have experience of working with young people, and building postive relationships with them. You will also have knowledge in working and setting up youth clubs.

The postholder will have a good understanding ofproject management, meeting deadlines and planning and delivering on sessions. 

Good communication skills is essential, with the experience of building positive relationships with young people. You should also have an ability to deal calmly and effectivelly with emotional and challenging situations with participants, as well as having a commitment to equalities, and challenging discrimination and creating environments of respect and trust. 

This role will invovle working evenings (once a week), school holidays (daytime) and occasional weekends (ad-hoc e.g. chaperone football matches).
