Role Mission:

Key Duties:

· Ownership of the finance function.

· Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.

· Evolved the financial reporting to provide better financial information to the team and streamlined the processes involved.

· Reviewed & improved the grants income tracking and reporting processes

· Successfully managing the charity’s cash flow in line with its Reserves Policy.

· Completely accountable for all aspects of the HoF JD by now.

As a Carers Hospital Support Co-Ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and supporting carers who’s relative, friend or neighbour is in hospital or receiving treatment at the Homerton Hospital. You will be responsible for coordinating vital services, offering guidance, and creating a supportive environment to help carers cope with the challenges they may face whilst their cared-for is in hospital. 

Responsibilities: 

• Identification and Support: Proactively identify carers of patients admitted to the Homerton Hospital in Hackney, and provide them with tailored support, ensuring their well-being is prioritised. 

• Information and Guidance: Offer information about available hospital resources, support services, and community networks to assist carers effectively. 

• Communication Liaison: Facilitate communication between clinical staff and carers, ensuring they are kept informed about the patient's condition, treatment plan, and discharge process. 

• Emotional Support: Provide compassionate emotional support to carers, listening to their concerns and offering a caring presence during difficult times. 

• Training and Education: Organise workshops and peer support groups to equip carers with essential skills for their caregiving role.

Children and young people with SEND struggle to develop relationships, build friendships and connect with their local communities.

We are seeking an additional Support Network Coordinator to cover the South Central region (Beds, Berks, Bucks, Herts, Northants and Oxon).

Each of the Support Network Coordinators have the responsibility for delivering, maintaining, and expanding the support services available to SCI people and their families in their region of the UK.

About the role

We’re looking to recruit a Senior Campaigner within the Public Engagement Campaigns team at WWF-UK.

As the Senior Campaigner, you will be politically astute, with a practical understanding of parliament and how to influence via a range of routes (public, advocacy, business advocacy). You will develop and launch campaigns that mobilise and engage our supporters, the wider public, and businesses to create the conditions for leaders to act on climate and nature. You will bring your experience of campaigning in both political and public contexts to the role, using their creativity to engage target audiences with a clear strategy and tactical executions.

The salary for this role is £42,573. We also offer a full benefits and rewards package including:

An exciting opportunity to support young people at Jamie’s Farm.  This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and contributing to a vibrant farm community. You will lead engaging activities based on your experience and skillset, helping  the team to deliver life-changing farm visits, ensuring young people receive the support they need to build resilience and personal growth.

What is Jamie’s Farm?  Jamie’s Farm is a charity that supports young people by combining therapeutic work, farming, and purposeful activities to help them thrive. Through residential visits to our working farms, we provide a nurturing environment where young people can reflect, build confidence, and develop the resilience they need to overcome personal challenges.

At an exciting time of growth for our charity, we are recruiting several delivery roles to support the opening of our 7th farm, set in beautiful woodlands and parkland adjacent to our existing Bath Farm.  This role may be based at either farm, as part of our new hub model.

Known within the organisation as ‘Sessional Worker’

More about the role:  You will plan and deliver engaging sessions, creating opportunities for young people to develop new skills and build confidence. Depending on your experience and interests, you could lead activities such as farm maintenance, cooking, horse work, or creative projects. In addition, you’ll contribute to the wider life of the farm, supporting feeding rounds, meal preparation, and other daily routines. You will collaborate closely with the Bath team to ensure the smooth delivery of each visit, helping to create a safe and supportive environment for all.

About you:  You are a skilled and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with young people, especially those in vulnerable situations. You may have experience in therapeutic, educational, or practical settings and you are confident in leading sessions and sharing your skills and experience. You bring strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills to everything you do, and you thrive in a collaborative environment.
