Location of work: Flexible. This post holder will be based at home. The role will require irregular travel throughout the UK with minimal overnight stays.

BACKGROUND
Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. Over 300,000 children and young people are on roll at Primary, Secondary, ASL / Special Educational Needs Schools and Pupil Referral Units that the charity works with, in disadvantaged areas of Scotland and England. Providing breakfast ensures that children start their school day with the energy and nutrition they need to be able to make the most of their morning lessons. Magic Breakfast also undertakes research, and campaigns for long-term solutions to end hunger as a barrier to learning.
JOB PURPOSE
Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The Service Delivery Support Coordinator will support the growth, membership and data management of our Service Delivery footprint across the whole of the UK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To ensure membership renewals of supported schools are processed each year including contract renewal and payment as well as disengaging schools.

To ensure accurate impact and performance reporting for each school is reviewed and sent to the relevant Engagement Partner including Local Authority Impact reports.

To ensure our expression of interest list is up to date with all relevant information captured.

To recruit schools through either our expression of interest list or through commissioned income contracts ensuring discussions on provision type and set up including advising engagement partners and operations of new schools and requirements.

To ensure all service delivery general enquiries are picked up and responded to.

To support with the booking of meetings and travel and any other required administration and coordination tasks across Service Delivery.

Leadership & Collaboration

The Director of Resources will be a member of the Executive Team, reporting to the CEO, with a membership consisting of the Director of Services, Director of Resources, Director of Fundraising and Director of Communication and Strategy. The Clinical Director will have a standing invitation to attend the Executive Team Meetings when deemed necessary.
The Director of Resources will also be a member of the Operational Executive Team, reporting to the CEO, with a membership consisting of the Director of Services and Clinical Director.
Lead the implementation of transformational projects which are Resources Directorate led, input to the implementation of transformational projects which are led by other Directors as required.
Finance
Develop medium term financial plans to support the delivery of Combat Stress's strategy and ensure financial sustainability.
Lead the management of Combat Stress's balance sheet and financial reserves, ensuring that the general reserves are maintained at an appropriate level to manage the charity's financial risk and designated funds are managed so that capital is available when required to meet strategic development needs and other requirements.
Lead the investment strategy, ensuring that effective investment management and monitoring is in place.
Lead the pension strategy, ensuring that this continues to support the recruitment and retention of a skilled and committed workforce. Lead the management of the legacy Defined Benefit Pension Scheme, liaising with Trustees as required.
Lead the management of the charity's tax obligations including VAT and corporation tax and oversee the completion of returns.
Oversee the production of budgets, management accounts for the charity and the trading company monthly and the provision of financial services for the charity including treasury, payroll, expenses, pensions and general, purchase and sales ledgers ensuring that those operate efficiently and in accordance with agreed standards and performance indicators.
Deliver continuous improvement of process and systems across finance delivering digitally to reduce cost and increase internal customer service wherever possible.
People
Oversee the development of people within the charity including appraisals, performance management, training, recognition and succession planning.
Oversee the implementation of changes which affect staff numbers or reporting lines within the charity.

Company Secretary
Act as the Company Secretary, ensuring that the organisation fulfils all statutory and other requirements in relation to its financial statements, Annual Report and Accounts and all other necessary compliance.
Lead the risk management process for the charity, working with the Directors to identify risks and mitigating actions.
Ensure that proper insurance arrangements are in place to cover potential risks and liabilities.
Oversee the setup and recording of committee and board meetings.
Oversee the project management processes for the charity.
Hold the responsibility for statutory regulations including the Data Protection Officer and Money Laundering Officer.
Property
Lead the provision of suitable office, community, consultation, storage and training space to meet the charity's needs.
Lead the portfolio management of property to optimise its value to the charity.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the charity's property including managing leases, maintenance, gardening and cleaning.

The Role
The team are determined to increase the prominence of legacies both internally and externally in order to grow and protect this important income stream, which accounts for over half of donated income.
To be successful in this role, you will be an exceptional team player, a strong communicator and an excellent relationship builder. • Event planning and management of legacy stewardship events

About You
Your experience in legacy fundraising / community fundraising / direct marketing / stewardship or running events will stand you in great stead, but most of all, we are looking for somebody who excels at building relationships and who shares ouar vision to make the Association the charity of choice when it comes to gifts in Wills.

About You
We are seeking an exceptional major gifts fundraiser to join one of the UK’s most cherished nature charities at an exciting time in our 112-year history. You will be instrumental in expanding our network of high-net-worth individuals. About Forest Farm Peace Garden
Forest Farm Peace Garden is a unique mental health and environment project. Our garden in Hainault is an oasis of beauty and tranquillity offering an inspiring and welcoming space for people to connect with nature and meet other people.
We run an ecotherapy programme, involving activities in nature, to support people with mental health recovery. We also run workshops, events and volunteering for the wider community.
Activities in our garden include gardening and food growing, caring for our large fruit orchard, growing medicinal plants, caring for wildlife, woodwork and arts and crafts.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Director to lead and develop Forest Farm Peace Garden’s work and impact. This is a new role which is central to leading the organisation, shaping our plans and enabling us to grow. You will oversee a small team of 3 staff, who are responsible for our Ecotherapy programme and Garden and Site maintenance and who support over 25 buddy volunteers and 30 supported volunteers each year.
We are looking for a confident and collaborative leader with experience and expertise in leading and developing teams, fundraising and financial management. Experience and awareness of community-based organisations and mental health services would be advantageous, as would experience of horticulture or creative activities.
The right person will be passionate about mental health, able to build strong relationships across the sector and be an enthusiastic and dynamic ambassador. They will be organised and effective, able to ensure the maintenance and development of funding streams and to work with and be accountable to the Board of Trustees.

GroceryAid has been the charity for the grocery industry since 1857, offering free and confidential welfare support to over £2.6m in the industry from the first day of their employment. More than 450 of the most well-known grocery retailers and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands support the charity, enabling us to help more than 70,000 people in the last twelve months. D&I in Grocery Programme:
The programme is delivered and facilitated by GroceryAid, with the support of the Strategy Steering Group and three workstream steering groups, it is a programme created for the industry by the industry. With over 100 FMCG partners, it is the largest collaboration of FMCG brands, working towards the common goal to accelerate a truly diverse and inclusive grocery industry. In 2023 the programme provided over 12,562 learning hours across 64 D&I topics. The programme benefits its partners through:

- Shared learning activity across monthly learning labs and cross industry Employee Resource Group (ERG) forums. Resources within The Partner Hub (programme platform) including podcasts, policies, toolkits and learning content
