Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We would like to recruit a new Team Lead for our Enfield IPS (SMI) Service who is passionate about delivering the best quality service to our clients.
Experience of team management is not essential, but you will need to be an experienced Employment Specialist or Senior Employment Specialist, with a performance (quality and outcomes) track record to enable you to demonstrate IPS principles and ways of working to your team. We would also ideally like you to have experience of driving change or improving performance, either at team level or as an individual team member. Experience of a fidelity review at any level would be an advantage.
You will be leading a team of 5 employment specialists (4.5 FTE) and a peer employment support worker. You will be responsible for providing supervision, training including field mentoring, caseload management support as well working with clinical team leads, contract commissioners and health leads. You will be also responsible for monitoring team performance, data analysis and monthly reporting. You will work with the Operations Manager to improve team performance in terms of outcomes and quality. The Operations Manager will be responsible for quarterly reporting but will need your support with this task.
We understand that this is a busy role, but you will be supported by the Operations Manager and other Head Office roles to help you and your team succeed.
The service has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people into employment.
The Enfield IPS team works alongside two IPS PC teams and a WorkWell team so there will be opportunities to share ideas and develop joint working within the borough to support a wide range of clients.
Working Well Trust also operates other SMI IPS services so you will also work with other team leads to develop high fidelity working practices across the services.

About the organisation
The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in day centre for young homeless people in Brighton
and Hove. We operate a day centre which provides practical and emotional support; confidence building activities; life skills and access to health services, volunteering, training and employment
for young people who are homeless and insecurely housed.
We work with homeless 16-to-25-year olds to help them move from crisis to stability. Our vision is that no young person becomes part of the long-term homeless population. With an increasing demand for our services, we are seeking an experienced Fundraising Officer to join our small Fundraising & Communications team and contribute to our ambitious plans for income generation, building on our strong track record of working with Trusts & Foundations.
About the role
To contribute to The Clock Tower Sanctuary's fundraising strategy by maximising income from regional and national Trusts & Foundations, with support and guidance from the Fundraising & Communications Manager and CEO. To be responsible for the effective management of a prospect pipeline, meeting annual targets and ensuring that bids and evaluation reports are submitted to deadline. The Trusts and Foundations income will support young people who are homeless in Brighton and Hove with a safe and supportive space to shape their future. Working towards a city where all young people have somewhere they can call home
Responsibilities:
Develop and secure funding from new and known Trusts and Foundations
- Undertake prospect research, ensuring all new and known funders are captured in the pipeline
- Prepare and submit agreed number of bids on quarterly basis to meet targets, tracking conversion rates and ensuring timely feedback to Fundraising & Communications Manager
- Develop funding bids to meet operational priorities, as expressed in The Clock Tower Sanctuary's Strategic Plan
- Continue to develop in-house knowledge bank on key issues relating to youth homelessness, ensuring relevant sector reports, statistics, facts and case studies are captured and updated.
Deliver excellent supporter experience for funders
- Build good working relationships with contacts at Trusts & Foundations and key stakeholders
- Ensure reports and communications are delivered to deadline to keep funders up to date with progress against grants and any other relevant operational developments
- Ensure all internal records and Donorfy are updated on a regular basis.
Monitoring and evaluation
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure evaluation reports are submitted in a timely manner, capturing data from in-house CRM systems and qualitative case studies
- Contribute to all monitoring and evaluation, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection requirements and best practice.
About You
Essential Skills
- At least two years' experience of developing funding bids for a charity
- Demonstrable track record in securing grants/donations in excess of £5k
- Experience of undertaking prospect research and pipeline management
- Strong writing skills and ability to synthesise information with good attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to forge internal and external relationships
- Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and CRM system e.g. Donorfy, Raisers Edge, Beacon.
Desirable
- Understanding of key issues faced by young people using The Clock Tower Sanctuary's services
- Experience of working as part of a small team in a charity
- Knowledge of fundraising best practice and industry standards

Job Title: Strategic Advocacy Campaigns Manager

Salary on appointment: £42,228 - £46,451 per annum

Context and purpose of role
Working closely with the Nations Directors, Policy & Public Affairs Managers, and the Communications team, the Strategic Advocacy Campaigns Manager will lead the development and execution of engaging and impactful public campaigns across England, Scotland and Wales, that inspire action, mobilise communities, and influence key decision-makers in support of our advocacy goals. The role aims to support impactful advocacy wins and bring new supporters on board while deepening connections with our existing supporters.
The role holder will focus on developing advocacy campaigns that unite issues that affect the whole of GB, positioning the Ramblers as the foremost authority on walking and as a respected political influencer. They will also support the broader communications team to implement locally focused advocacy and public affairs activities for England, Scotland or Wales where appropriate.
Key responsibilities
Campaign strategy development:
- Design and execute integrated strategic multi-year advocacy campaigns that support our shared public affairs objectives across England, Scotland & Wales to deliver meaningful impact against a common change agenda.
- Translate complex issues into engaging, accessible narratives to attract new audiences while energising loyal supporters.
- In collaboration with colleagues, identify key issues and opportunities for advocacy, fundraising, and supporter growth including where appropriate commissioning research that will create campaign engagement by addressing evidence gaps and opportunities
Campaign management:
- Work closely with the broader communications team to develop strategically aligned messaging and campaign assets and to deliver these across owned, earned and (where relevant) paid channels.
- Lead on the creation of compelling campaign assets (e.g. reports, polls, toolkits) to ensure our message reaches a wide audience.
- Project manage advocacy campaigns including managing timeframes and budgets, mobilising other teams, seeking collaboration opportunities with external partners, setting and measuring KPIs

In this role you will:
The Stewardship Manager will be a key strategic leader within Carers Trust's Income Generation and Engagement Directorate who will create, implement and manage a comprehensive stewardship programme that illustrates to supporters the impact of their giving and involvement.
The Stewardship Manager will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional donor experience, fostering long-term relationships and maximizing the retention and growth of income from individuals, trusts, and corporate donors. Working closely with all of our donor leads, they will develop an overall stewardship vision and oversee the planning and implementation of our supporter relations programmes for each audience.
Alongside our Database Manager, the Stewardship Manager will also ensure compliance with regulations, full documentation of communications and relationship milestones, and create a robust monitoring architecture for evaluating and reporting progress.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Fundraising team as the Events, Community and Regional (ECR) Manager who will lead the implementation of our national fundraising strategy, project managing a range of challenge events and community fundraising activities, whilst supporting a team of two.
The ECR Manager is responsible for designing and delivering an ECR programme focused on growth in supporter engagement and income.
Over the next 12 months, this role will review all aspects of the current ECR programme and implement new strategic ways of working. Other key responsibilities will include:
- Provide line management, motivational and developmental support to the Regional Partnerships Coordinator and National Events and Community Officer.
- Manage and deliver a portfolio of events, along with key high-value relationships within ECR.
- Work closely with other key fundraising colleagues to review and implement strategic changes across the ECR programme.
- Support income growth through the recruitment and retention of donors, whilst taking our fundraisers on an exceptional supporter journey.

The Role

About the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the Fundraising & Engagement Team.
Acting as the first point of contact for all Fundraising & Comms enquiries and in line with Mind BLMK’s Fundraising and Communications Strategy, this is a busy role and will require excellent stewardship and donor care skills as well as meticulous organisation and innovative thinking. Key Duties

About the Role
Location & Contract: This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term (maternity cover) role with a hybrid working model based in Reading, with travel required to our Reading hub at least twice per month.
The PR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation’s PR strategy, in support of the wider I&E and Brand, Communications and Entertainment Strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the PR strategy, developing plans to promote key initiatives, campaigns and products to media, effectively and in line with wider strategies.
- Have a proactive approach in anticipating media requests & reactions and have the right processes, assets and content in place to support this.
- Create impactful press releases and other supporting media materials that are consistent with the agreed strategy, goals and key messaging to secure coverage.
- Build powerful press and media relationships and partnerships to gain coverage and elevate campaigns, and identify how Make-A-Wish can optimise these.
- Working with the B,C&E Lead, manage an effective crisis communications strategy, maintaining a framework to manage proactive and reactive crisis or incidents ensuring it is fully embedded into the organisation and refreshed when needed. Lead on the preparation of responses and official statements when required.
- Develop and update toolkits to support consistent media presentation, and toolkit elements for specific fundraising activities and campaigns that can be used internally and also shared with partners and community leaders.
Essential Criteria:
- Ideally 7+ years experience within a PR focussed role within a cause driven organisation and/or charity with 2+ years experience within a similar role to advertised.
- Evidence and experience of developing and leading high-profile media activations including broadcast coverage, (ideally around fundraising) broadsheet coverage (ideally of media-backed campaigns, etc.
- Evidence and experience of capturing stories including copywriting, sensitive interviewing and story capture approaches, etc.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, best practice and ethical issues.
- Experience with insight and analytic tools and building reports to inform and develop PR strategy.
- Experience of managing and planning work strategically.
