Membership Officer
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented team in maximising income from a committed membership base.
With a healthy existing membership base, this role will support the Membership Manager and Head of Development in ensuring that membership administration runs smoothly from the perspective of both external and internal stakeholders.

Purpose of the role
- To provide excellent customer services as the main point of contact for Twins Trust's members, dealing with enquiries from new and existing members and updating membership records on the CRM database.

About the role
As the #iwill Business Support Officer, you will be helping to grow a UK wide movement of youth social action, where young people are equipped and enabled to shape change in their own lives and communities. Based in Scotland you will be responsible for maintaining our relationships with the main aplastic anaemia specialist treatment centres in Scotland as well as supporting our Scottish community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing team within The Aplastic Anaemia Trust (AAT). Our team is small, but mighty. Our current Support & Outreach (S&O) team is managed by our S&O Programme Manager and comprises two part-time S&O coordinators who have lived experience of aplastic anaemia. Lived experience is hugely important to us but is not an essential criterion for this role.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This opportunity is for a permanent contract, starting immediately, with a six-month probation period. You will work 14 hours a week during core working hours, your working hours can be arranged flexibly to suit you although we will require you to attend staff meetings which take place on Thursday mornings.

The Role
Reporting to the PR Manager, the role will help deliver key media campaigns that call for change to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Working as a team to deliver a proactive, effective and 24/7 press office, building relationships with identified media and opinion formers, and ensure timely media responses based on organisational and reputational priorities.
· Working with the Campaigns and Public Affairs team to deliver influencing activity to key health board stakeholders, Stroke Association campaigners and the general public.

About You

Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is the UK’s leading health and research charity for pulmonary fibrosis. We are seeking an organised, driven individual with excellent written communication skills to help us grow income from grant making trusts and foundations. This role will raise vital income that will help us support more people affected by pulmonary fibrosis, and fund ground breaking new research that we hope will help stop lives being lost to pulmonary fibrosis.

As Trusts & Grants Coordinator, you will produce inspiring funding applications and reports, and develop relationships with new and existing funders. As well as building on our pipeline of grant making trusts, you will also support the development of income from statutory bodies such as local authorities.
We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, and who is able to write impact-driven funding proposals and reports to inspire sustainable funding.
