About the Role

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is responding to the largest emergency in our 40-year history. Over the last year support for our cause has seen significant growth in income as tens of thousands of supporters have joined MAP. Our challenge now is to retain this interest and ensure we sustain income as we respond to the ongoing emergency and the longer-term health of Palestinians over the coming years. With an ambition to be a £50m organisation in the next five years, our fundraising operations team, consisting of database and supporter care functions, will play a key role in enabling over one million Palestinians to access improved healthcare annually by 2028.

The Head of Fundraising Operations will enable fundraising operations to keep pace with the growth in income, futureproofing systems to ensure effective co-ordination and organisation to underpin fundraising activity, as well as delivering on an incredible supporter experience. With a new CRM in place, the role will design and implement a range of systems/processes, maximising the capabilities of the database. Working closely with internal teams including finance, the role will support external-facing fundraisers to achieve their targets, through excellence in data quality and the highest standards in supporter care.

About You

You will use your excellent interpersonal and motivational leadership skills to develop and support team members to deliver their best work. Your exceptional communication skills and the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines will be valuable.  You will have experience of thriving in a fast-paced fundraising environment, with experience of creating and implementing systems and processes for others to use. With excellent Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of how databases work in a fundraising environment, it is desirable that you have experience of MS Dynamics. Having worked with finance teams, you will be confident in delivery of income and activity reporting.  Knowledge of relevant legislation and fundraising regulations for all forms of fundraising is essential. 

Duties and key responsibilities

Leadership, Strategy and Planning

• ​Build and inspire a high-performing, results-oriented team focused on delivering fundraising operations and supporter stewardship
• Lead the development of the data and supporter services strategy
• Lead the implementation and ongoing management of efficient fundraising operations, including MS Dynamics processes, finance and activity reporting and making sure that the Fundraising Team have easy access to accurate information at all times.
• Collaborate with the Director, Deputy Director and Heads of teams to develop team plans aligned with the Fundraising strategy. 
• Working with the Head of Technology, integrate systems and proactively stay ahead of emerging trends and horizon scanning to ensure MAP’s fundraising operations takes forward the latest developments.

Budgets

• Create and manage annual and three-year rolling budgets for fundraising operations.
• ·Lead on the tender and appointment of suppliers who will partner on our fundraising operations and supporter services function.

Compliance and reporting

• Ensure all our fundraising operations remain compliant, following guidance from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, Information Commissioner’s Office (Data Protection) and the Fundraising Regulator, as well as embedding best practice.
• Establish and maintain effective systems for donor and prospect pipeline management and provide regular management reports to the Fundraising Heads to enable them to assess fundraising progress, reallocate resources and ensure we meet our income and activity targets.
• Support the Director and Fundraising leads in KPI reporting to the Senior Management Team and the Board of Trustees. 
• Develop and maintain documentation on processes.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, proactive and imaginative fundraiser to make real impact and drive growth in the Peak District. The Foundation is at a step change in its development, and as such is investing in growing its staff numbers. The Foundation recruited its first Director in Summer 2023, and we are now seeking a Fundraising Manager to join the Foundation during this exciting period of growth.

You will work as part of a small team to deliver our fundraising strategy – we aim to grow fundraised income to £1 million annually by 2027 to fund vital work in the National Park, including moorland restoration and climate change mitigation, biodiversity and habitat preservation, and work with young people and under-served communities.

You will look after a mixed portfolio of supporters and prospects and take the lead on building a pipeline of potential supporters and building long-term meaningful relationships with grant-making trusts and foundations, corporate partners and individual donors. The role will also include helping to distribute much-needed grants to projects across the park.

We are looking for a talented individual with excellent relationship building skills and a passion for the Park to enhance and maximise the fundraising potential at the Foundation. This is a full-time post, but we are open to part-time applicants.

Role Overview

As a member of the Supporter Engagement Team no two days will be the same. You will be essential in helping us improve the lives of those living with Crohn's and Colitis by offering fantastic supporter service and ensuring our members and fundraisers feel valued and keen to continue to support!

The Supporter Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in achieving this. By taking a lead in the day to day management of the income processing and membership arm of the team ensuring all income is processed quickly and accurately and supporters are thanked efficiently.

About You

You will have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner.

You will be experienced in supervising staff or volunteers and be an effective and approachable networker with a proved track record of building excellent relations with all stakeholders, using high levels of tact and sensitivity when needed.

You'll need strong written and verbal skills and the ability to adapt your style depending on the audience. You'll also be effective at managing challenging situations and competing priorities.

You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required. 

You will also have experience of working with databases to produce reports and insights, as well as the managing the handling of cash and finance processes.

Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Our Location

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home although you will need to be in the office for two days a week minimum. There will also be other times when you’ll need to be in the office for fulfilment tasks or to attend meetings such as our ‘All Staff Together’ days four times a year and you will also be required to attend fundraising events.

The Baobab Centre is a non-residential therapeutic community that supports young asylum seekers and refugees who have experienced human rights abuses and have sought asylum in the UK as unaccompanied minors. Our two focus areas are rehabilitation and justice.

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to progress further in their career, with the freedom to creatively enhance and develop the fundraising strategy of an impactful community-based charity.

As Senior Fundraising Lead you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will lead on the development of fundraising at Baobab, exploring new avenues for funding, as well as nurturing and growing existing fundraising relationships. You will be responsible for strategising and carrying out a successful program of fundraising from small, medium and large charitable trusts and foundations to an agreed annual fundraising target. This role is for 4 or 5 days per week depending on your preference, it will include Fridays which is when staff meetings are held.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Fundraising to join our Income Generation team. Primarily, this new role will have direct responsibility for growing and managing our Individual Giving income streams within the Fundraising team, but will also have managerial responsibility for the Corporate, Community & Events income streams. As Individual Giving Fundraiser you will be responsible for planning and delivering appeals, campaigns and supporter journeys to recruit, retain and reward individual donors. Specifically, you will be responsible for the growth of strategically important income streams of general donations, regular giving,  and lottery

The successful candidate will be working to maximise income and develop supporter relationships across a variety of activities.

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a programme of acquisition campaigns to acquire new cash and regular giving donors.
• Contribute to maximising the potential of the fundraising database, segmenting and targeting supporters who have the potential to give regularly or at a mid-range level.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and providing all required information for the successful delivery of campaigns and strategies.
• Develop, implement and monitor direct response campaigns (post, email, phone and digital) to acquire new supporters and deepen our relationship with existing supporters including raffles and other campaigns and appeals.
• To carry out research and maintain awareness of the wider fundraising industry to obtain relevant information that can contribute to proposals, mailings, applications, donor strategies and fundraising communications.
• Use supporter insight, data, and external trend analysis to spot opportunities for income growth or development.
• Work with colleagues in Marketing to develop engaging case studies and beneficiary stories to support fundraising and donor relationship-building.
• Devise inspirational and exciting ways to demonstrate the impact of donations on the lives of beneficiaries and ensure that this is communicated regularly and effectively to supporters.
• Ensure all activity is compliant with any regulations and any reporting requirements completed.

We are a community hospice charity, based near Stroud. We believe that everyone touched by a life-limiting illness in Gloucestershire should benefit from free hospice care and our strategy is to reach more of them. We support people with life-limiting conditions to live well after diagnosis through a range of wellbeing services for them and their loved ones and, when the time comes, we enable them to have the choice of dying in the comfort of their own home.

Back Up’s Regional Outreach and Engagement team are the very face of the organisation and are based across the UK, working directly with spinal cord injury centres, major trauma centres and hospitals – or indeed anywhere that people affected by spinal cord injury may be.

As a Regional Coordinator, you will build relationships and take ownership for what happens in your geographical area. Whether it be providing peer support to newly injured people in a clinical setting, facilitating wheelchair skills sessions, making referrals for ongoing support or supporting volunteers and fundraisers – you will be passionate about being able to demonstrate the impact of what we do, and will see for yourself how Back Up quite literally transforms lives.

The role

You’ll be key to delivering our corporate partnerships income strategy, identifying and driving vital new business as well retaining longer term support from priority sectors. As Corporate Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for driving income growth and leveraging Ovarian Cancer Action’s increasing levels of brand awareness and creating compelling, mutually beneficial partnerships. To achieve this, you’ll need to find innovative ways to engage businesses and identify opportunities to maximise income from the relevant sectors.

Has fantastic experience of securing, developing and growing partnerships. As well as a creative, insight led and good business acumen approach to developing mutually beneficial partnerships, in line with organisational priorities.
