As Head of Development, you will be a key member of a small team. Reporting to the incoming Chief Executive, you will develop and implement the preexisting fundraising strategy and guide the organisation’s communications and PR strategy. You will inherit a strategically developed portfolio of relationships and income streams, with particular strengths in trusts and foundations, and a strong network of individual donors and scope to build corporates. There is also a small but growing legacy circle, created in response to a recent bequest of £1M+. You will line manage a small team of two: the Development & Communications Coordinator, and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. With ambitions to expand upon NYJO’s existing work, your ability to set and achieve more ambitious targets will be essential.

As Head of Development, you will:
- Develop and implement the existing fundraising strategy and develop marketing and communications efforts, ensuring cohesive and impactful messaging to effectively engage donors and stakeholders
- Deliver a high standard of supporter care and relationship management tailored to the level of giving, including nurturing their successful new Legacy Club
- Manage and attend an annual series of fundraising events, from relaxed open days to formal receptions

The Philanthropy Manager is a key member of the Philanthropy & Partner Engagement Department within War Child’s award-winning Fundraising team. As Philanthropy Manager, you will:
- Identify and qualify a pipeline for up to 6-figure gifts for both unrestricted and restricted giving

The Fundraising Lead will play a critical role in supporting our ‘sustainability' strategic priority to ensure Cycle Sisters can access the resources it needs to keep making a difference. This post-holder will lead on growing Cycle Sisters’ unrestricted income, with a focus on community fundraising and corporate partnerships.

This role is a remote role (must be in England or Wales) within a supportive and friendly team. As the Fundraising Officer for Community and Events you will:
- Support the delivery of a successful fundraising plan that aligns with Victim Support's vision, mission and values.
- Implement and support impactful activities associated with our Community, Fundraising Events and Individual Giving income streams.

About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a creative and ambitious Fundraising and Communications Officer.
As our reach and impact has increased significantly in recent years, so has our income, and this new role has been created in response to that demand. This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraiser who wants to widen, or consolidate, their knowledge and experience of fundraising, in an international context, as well as gain communications experience.
We are a very small team so the role will cover a breadth of funding streams, with a particular focus on Trusts and Foundations, High Value Donors, and Events, both special and community. Key Responsibilities
- Steward, retain and grow the support of our existing donor portfolio: KHULA has an existing portfolio of donors including trusts, foundations, corporates, major donors, individual and regular givers, the majority of whom are based in the UK or South Africa. Alongside the Director of Fundraising and Communications, the post holder will be responsible for managing these relationships, including bespoke reporting for trusts and major donors and taking responsibility for their own portfolio of donors.
- Donor prospecting and new business: researching and generating new donor leads as well as acting on opportunities provided by our Board and others, converting prospects into supporters of our programmes.

About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do.
