About You

This is an exciting time for our client, and they have an ambitious new organisational strategy. They are looking for an 'Enablement support worker' to play a pivotal role in supporting people with sight loss to remain independent in their homes, by providing high quality assessments and overseeing support delivered by multi-disciplinary teams. 

The Enablement support worker will also support service users to build on their existing skills, and develop valuable life skills through delivery of a range of courses. The required approach is strengths-based, individual to each person they support, and will involve working closely with the friends and family of their service users to achieve the best possible outcomes.
 
Key responsibilities

- Conduct home assessments for the people they support in a 1-to-1 capacity, followed by six monthly or twelve monthly reviews.
- Deliver support within community based settings across the city.
- Deliver Life Skills Education Courses and Technology Skills Courses.
- Support their enablement contract with defined KPIs and outcomes, and provide ongoing monitoring and impact reporting.
- Build and manage relationships with external partners and local authority referrals to meet project outcomes and ensure service standards.
- Refer those who require additional support to external partners and the Low Vision team.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation and best practice.
- Provide and support a comprehensive training program for Enablement volunteer champions and other supporting volunteers. Assist in supervising and promoting development of volunteers, ensuring they work in line with best practice and organisational policies.

The new role of MEAL Officer will undertake high-quality data management and analysis to produce key learnings on the outcomes of our client’s grantmaking and other programmatic activity, as well as leading system improvements for the evolving monitoring, evaluation and learning framework in collaboration with global colleagues.

Providing support to the emerging global Learning function, the role will support the delivery of learning activities across the network to develop clear briefs, learnings and findings that can be used by other functions, including the Communications and Philanthropic Partnerships teams, to strengthen the organisation’s external and internal engagement and knowledge sharing activities.

This position currently sits within the UK Program Support function, and will integrate closely with the existing global Program function, as well as with the planned Learning function (in development).

Major duties and responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Programmes and Learning functions to ensure high-quality analysis and reporting from grantee data across the growing grantmaking portfolio.
• Analyse grantmaking and other programmatic activity against a pre-defined set of indicators as set out in GGF’s current Monitoring & Evaluation framework, including generating reports for donor-funded grantmaking.

• Data entry of all UK grants made for audited accounts, and annual analysis and data visualizations for audited accounts, and global analyses for the annual report.

Position Specifications:

• Commitment to a value-based intersectional framework and its implications for organizational practices and principles of anti-oppression.
• Significant relevant experience in a similar role undertaking monitoring, evaluation, learning and data analysis in a charitable, environmental, development, social justice, feminist, gender, human rights organisation, and/or grantmaking organisation.
• A strong track record in data collection, monitoring and analysis, with good working knowledge of a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, tools and systems, and in using this information to evaluate and recommend adaptations, and in reporting.
• Higher-level qualifications/certification in a relevant field, post-graduate qualification (e.g. MSc, PhD) preferred, particularly in the social sciences and/or use of mixed method approaches
• Author of MEAL-related reports, either organisational reports or academic publications
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and improve the process of data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in managing datasets, databases, programming, and other analysis software.
• Demonstrated capacity to think strategically, innovatively, and analytically, with expertise in complex problem solving, decision making, and critical thinking skills, displays good judgment.

About you

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our HR team.  You will be responsible for providing specialist advice on the full spectrum of Employee Relations cases including absence, disciplinary investigations, grievance, performance management and organisational change, ensuring the delivery  of an exceptional and timely service to stakeholders.

 About the role

We are recruiting a Counselling Lead to coordinate, lead and expand our counselling service. We are looking for an individual who is a British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) member; the successful applicant will be required to maintain their professional registration and accreditation.

You will be joining a team of experienced counsellors, providing multi-disciplinary trauma informed counselling to adults who have experienced domestic abuse at any point in their lives.

The successful applicant will hold their own small client caseload and will also co-ordinate and lead our service, ensuring our delivery falls within the BACP Framework and is safe, professional and accessible. The individual will actively promote our clients’ best interests and have an excellent understanding of and commitment to best practice, safeguarding and confidentiality.

The post is part of the NCB Enhanced Strategic Leadership Team and is accountable for harnessing NCB’s specialisms within a broad understanding of children’s lives, providing high level policy and political analysis.

Position Summary/ Objective

A new role within our European region, the Paid Social Media Specialist will be working closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Lead (UK) to deliver world-class paid media campaigns on multiple digital platforms in multiple countries.

This role will work across IFAW’s four fundraising markets in Europe: France, Germany, Netherlands and the UK to grow our paid media revenue. The role will focus on Social and Search advertising but also to experiment with new emerging platforms.

Directly reporting to the Senior Digital Marking Lead in the UK, this role will coordinate and plan new paid social campaigns and content, working closely with the Digital Leads, and the Senior Fundraising and Marketing Manager, to roll these out across our markets.  You will work across a variety of channels such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Reddit, Bing, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, Spotify and more.

Role and Responsibilities

Working with the Digital Marketing Lead in each country (France, Germany, Netherlands and UK), the role will:

- Coordinate, develop, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns from conception to launch and completion across EU fundraising markets.

- Building out media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day execution of paid media to support each market.

- Work closely with Digital Marketing Leads to agree on campaigns, budget allocation and spend, ad grouping and audience targeting.

- Support and contribute to the creative process of building advertising campaigns. Including video creation specifically for advertising.

- Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, and suggest landing pages optimization.

- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.

- Working cross-departmentally, specifically with the Content team.

- Identify and suggest new emerging platforms and avenues for digital outreach.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- 5+ years’ experience with digital paid media, specifically with Meta and Google advertising.

- Excellent understanding of creating and implementing paid media campaigns with prior campaign examples (across multiple countries/markets a plus). 

- Ideally completed advertising certifications (for example, Meta Certified Media Buying Professional, Google Analytics 4).

- Extensive experience in creating digital ad assets and copy, including video.  

- Video creation skills specifically for advertising, experience working with Adobe Creative Suite tools.

- Fluency in working with analytics platforms, for example Looker Studio.

- Goal driven, extremely analytical, with the ability to make data-based decisions and conclusions.

- Excellent communication skills to present the results of campaign performance verbally, as well as provide clear and concise reports.

- Fluent English (spoken French, German or Dutch is a plus).

- Interest in IFAW’s programmatic work and global wildlife conservation issues.

- Self-starter with ability to jump into a hectic situation to provide support.

We are looking for a Regional (Peripatetic) Sessional Shop Assistant to cover four of our shops in the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire areas. These shops are the Newark, Sutton, New Ollerton and Retford shops and you would need to have access to your own transport or if not there would be a requirement to use public transport to fully cover these shops. All travel expenses would be covered.

Are you self motivated with strong interpersonal skills and thrive on challenges and opportunities that come with assisting in the running of a shop? Can you assist the Shop Manager in driving sales and profits and able to work closely with staff and Volunteers to ensure we deliver the best level of customer service.

We are looking for someone who loves working with people and has the ability to lead in the absence of the Shop Manager, inspire and empower people around them. We are looking for someone who is friendly and positive in their approach and can instil an energy to those around them. Have you got a creative ability that you can bring to the role?

You will make a real difference to young people in England by helping to raise vital funds needed to support our frontline work.

It is important that you have good communication skills both inside and outside the shop, reaching out to the local community to help build support for the shop.

Job Purpose: To provide Information & Advice to older people. The service is primarily office-based but may also include outreach or home visits; providing support to the Volunteer I&A Advisors, providing office cover as required and supporting the I&A Advice Case Supervisor in keeping our information resources up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide information and advice to older people, their careers, relatives and friends. This advice may be in person, in writing, by email or telephone. There may also be occasional home visits

To be responsible for the provision of up-to-date welfare benefit information and undertaking of benefits checks supporting older people with their claims and where necessary challenging DWP decisions and assisting with appeals.

To have an in-depth knowledge of those issues likely to affect older people, for example but not limited to Lasting Power of Attorney, succession, care provision and housing as well as paying for care

To respond promptly, proactively and effectively to a wide range of enquiries from the public

To support access to a wide range of services that are appropriate, paying particular attention to the needs of marginalised groups

To undertake rights-based casework, for example assisting with a wide range of complaints and making representations where appropriate.

To be responsible for the recording, collation and monitoring of all relevant information relating to clients accessing our services and the milestones, outcomes and outputs of the service

To be responsible for inputting client records onto the organisations case management system and running reports

To arrange and participate in stakeholder and other events throughout the two Borough’s

To provide high quality information, ensuring that our policies and procedures are fully complied with, and that we meet the standards required by the Age UK Quality Advice Standard and any other external accreditations

To undertake accurate case recording according to our policies and procedures

To support the I&A Case Supervisor with the statistics and reports required across both the Boroughs

To keep up to date with relevant laws, policies and procedures – locally and nationally and participate in training (internal and external)

About the role:

This role is based at our Coventry office with the option of hybrid working from home. Travel across the area is required, travelling time is within working hours & expenses are reimbursed. The hours for this role are Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8am to 4pm, Wednesday 12noon to 8pm & Saturday 9am to 5pm.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Effectively managing a caseload, delivering excellent services via telephone, video call and in person to support service users
• Assessing need and risk at initial contact and on an on-going basis
• Developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans for those affected by crime, who accept ongoing support. Support will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users
• Helping service users build healthy coping mechanisms and providing practical support and information
• Identifying and providing action to safeguarding concerns
• Working collaboratively with key partners
• Using a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential records and contributing to monitoring information including the collection of outcomes
• Delivering awareness raising sessions on the impact of crime to partner agencies and community groups and participating in community events.
