We are looking for someone who has passion for both business and data, ensuring that business systems, infrastructure and processes are functioning effectively and efficiently. You will be naturally curious and keen to encourage continuous improvement of systems.

Job Purpose: The role holder will ensure that business systems, infrastructure and processes are functioning as effectively and efficiently as possible. They will support colleagues to improve their knowledge and use Microsoft Office 365 (O365) and SharePoint/Teams and support with identifying new technologies that will enhance service delivery to YMCA customers.  

To review and replace business systems as YMCA East Surrey enters the next phase of digital transformation of integration of systems, cloud telephony and a business intelligence tool. This role will be an integral part of the transformation and onboarding new systems.  

 Hours of work:Part time 28 hours per week. Working pattern will usually be between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Location: YMCA Sports and Community Centre, Princes Road, Redhill, Surrey, RH1 6JJ.

Annual leave:Five weeks plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time workers) Holidays increase after two years’ service to a maximum of six weeks after six years’ service.(pro-rata for part time workers)

The holiday year runs from 1April to 31 March each year.

Main Responsibilities:

 · Colleague support and triage of O365 and SharePoint issues.  

· Train and support colleagues to maintain the SharePoint Intranet.   

· Train and support superusers across the different O365 business systems   

· Assist and lead the efficient delivery of ICT driven projects across the business through collaboration with internal and external partners/stakeholders.  

· Lead on the specific project of procuring and rolling out a new VoIP system across the whole organisation.

· Assist in the analysis of existing systems, identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability. 

· Working closely together with the Senior Management Team and our IT Support Provider to ensure the technical viability of solutions.  

· Designing and overseeing test specifications and conducting rigorous testing before rolling out live systems  

· Support the Senior Management Team to determine budgets and time frames for implementation of proposed solutions.  

· Ensure system compliance with GDPR and follow the organisations Data Protection procedures relating to confidentiality.  

· Ensuring that implementation IT projects remain within agreed-upon budgets and time frames.  

· Identifying and managing IT risks and issues that impact business outcomes   

· Training users and creating instruction manuals for new or improved O365 systems  

· Researching and evaluating emerging technologies, including both hardware and software to improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes.

· Support managers to measure levels and activities and outcomes by collating data from different systems to demonstrate effectiveness and impact across all service areas.

· Attend system user groups and share learning and best practice.  

· Advise on IT solutions and software for the development of new sites and projects.   

· Attend contract review meetings with IT Support Provider, to help the HoCS to monitor their performance and resolve and contractual issues that might arise 

· Take responsibility for all IT hardware, to issue new equipment and to put in place arrangements for maintenance, repair and replacement where necessary and support maintenance of up-to-date asset register

· Take responsibility for drafting and reviewing relevant IT policies.

· Put in place the required systems and processes to achieve and maintain Cyber Essentials accreditation. 

· Manage all relevant software licences including O365 licences. 

· To produce monthly reports for senior management and to prepare proposals for new software where required. 

· Use Office applications such as Forms and Power BI to produce tools to help managers collect data and monitor and report on performance.

· To undertake such other tasks as may be allocated from time to time within your capabilities by the HoCS and CEO. 

· Any other duties are required to be performed within the grade and renumeration of the role. – this is mandatory

The Events and Activities Producer will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of social activities, events and services.

Pembroke House is a centre for community, creativity and collective action in Walworth. We work across two buildings in Walworth: Pembroke House and All Saints Hall. One of our core activities is the Walworth Living Room (WLR), a space where people can hang out, enjoy various activities, build relationships with each other, eat, learn, share and create. Located in the All Saints Hall building on Surrey Square Road, it is a place where people can work together to develop models of collective support and of collective control over community resources. Staff and visitors work collaboratively to make decisions about how the space is run.

The Walworth Living Room offers a cafe, activities, resources and workshops that support people to:

The Events and Activities Producer will be responsible for planning new activities, commissioning people to deliver them, coordinating logistics and developing a plan to monitor and evaluate them. Those activities will take place predominantly in the WLR, but may take place outside the hours it is open to the public or in our other building, Pembroke House. The role will also support other individuals and organisations to deliver activities. And it will hold overall responsibility for the schedule of all activities. Key to this role is ensuring that all activities are aligned with the organisation’s mission and values and reflect the interests of the people who use the space.

The role will be part of a team of seven staff, supervised by the Director of Programmes and the Director of Partnerships, that coordinates community-building work within the WLR as well as the broader neighbourhood.

Are you an ambitious and dynamic fundraiser looking for your next role? We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to join our team, reporting to the Head of Marketing, to help increase and diversify income for The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre to support people coming to terms with a cancer diagnosis. 

Focusing on building new relationships and developing high-level, multi-year partnerships, the role holder will be responsible for corporate fundraising, managing all income streams, regular donations, bucket collections, one off donations and funds generated from third party engagement. If you are keen to make a difference and help us grow this income stream to support our plans, we would love to hear from you!

• Taking the lead to develop relationships with existing and new prospects with a view to growing the charity’s income

• Communicating and networking with the aim to deliver presentations and proposals that tell our story
• Working alongside the Head of Marketing to create fundraising products and tools to help support our partners
• Assisting with all levels of corporate administration, thank you letters, certificates, project reports, updating information via the database, website and social media etc.

Essential requirements include:
Proven track record in delivering income targets of £100k and upwards
Ability to research, compile and manage corporate prospects

• Ability to communicate both verbally and written with a range of audiences
• Ability to develop high quality, coherent and thorough fundraising proposals and pitches
• Good attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Competence in the use of IT tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Able to work independently, applying own initiative
• Able to be flexible and adaptable (attending networking events and meetings as necessary)
• A full clean driving licence and use of vehicle.

This role will provide line management and support for a small team of Children and Young People (CYP) practitioners, each supporting a caseload of CYP displaying abusive and aggressive behaviours in their familial and other close relationships. The team deliver interventions on a one to one and group-work basis, in schools and other community based settings, to children and young people aged between 5 and 17. This role will include duties around co-ordinating, and supporting the team in delivering, those interventions.

The Senior Behaviour Change caseworker will also take responsibility for the initial triage and assessment of referrals, ensuring that they are then allocated to the most appropriate support/intervention according to their individual needs.

The role may include some out of hours and weekend working, as dictated by the business needs of the service.

About the Role:

This role is based in Stafford but will work flexibly across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. The service will be delivered as per service user requirements and will involve early evening and possible weekend delivery, potentially on a rota basis.

• managing a team of CYP Behaviour Change caseworkers, working with children and young people
• delivering interventions in person, individually or as part of a group
• assessing risk and needs at all times; ensuring the safe delivery of service

· Demonstrable experience in budgeting, financial management, and people leadership

We're looking for a Research and Insight Executive to join a newly created team within our Fundraising directorate. The team have been created to work alongside the high value teams (Philanthropy and Partnerships) to provide them with the highest quality donor research, funding propositions and stewardship materials required to create transformative partnerships with businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations.

As a Research and Insight Executive, your role will play a crucial role, supporting our ambitious high value fundraising strategy and will be pivotal in the development of Prostate Cancer UK’s first Major Appeal. You’ll be identifying new prospecting and senior volunteer opportunities and providing insights to the high value teams.

You'll identify and research potential donors, creating detailed profiles to inform engagement strategies. You'll also develop strategic relationships and access routes to prospective supporters.

Your analytical skills will be essential for conducting financial and data analysis to inform our decision-making and strategy development. Additionally, you'll play a key role in streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency by developing and implementing new processes.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a curious, organised and enthusiastic person to work with our high value fundraisers to support them with research and insight on new and existing funding opportunities to support our ambitious growth plans. 

As well as conducting research and creating research profiles, you’ll work closely with the Research and Insight Manager to implement new prospect research processes and ways of working to maximise the effectiveness of our high value fundraising programme. You’ll also run finance and KPI data reports for the Head of Philanthropy, Head of Appeal and Head of Partnerships to ensure that we have an understanding of fundraising performance.

You’ll have experience of proactive prospecting, creating research profiles and network maps. You’ll also have knowledge of high value fundraising principals. You’ll have excellent relationship building skills.

This is a rewarding role where you'll be working closely with high value fundraisers to ensure they have the right opportunities and insights to build mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with supporters and ultimately, grow income to fund transformational work and achieve impact for men.

Summary of role: This is a varied role which will see the successful applicant working outside on practical grounds maintenance and conservation tasks in some of the most beautiful parts of the Colne Valley.

You will be joining the Green Team who carry out a range of projects across the Colne Valley Regional Park. These include nature reserve management, grounds maintenance, corporate volunteering events, volunteering events for the public, hard landscaping tasks, and conducting Green Skills Courses to educate long-term unemployed individuals. About the role

We are excited to be advertising this newly created role as part of WGN’s growth. This role will be the lead on the finance function. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Resources, the role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation including executive leadership, with a specific focus on working closely with the Director and external auditors. The role will have two direct reports – Finance Business Partner and Finance Officer. This is a hands-on role and will have full responsibility for the finance function on a day to day and medium-term basis. The Financial Controller is to lead on all financial systems set up and upgrades.

Although the organisation is well established, this is a growing sector, and the organisation has gone through rapid change over the past few years and is therefore offering the right candidate a great opportunity to deliver change and make a real difference to WGN’s staff and clients. 

Role Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the management and development of the Finance Business Partner and Finance Officer.
• Preparing the year-end statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors.
• Responsible for ensuring that all financial controls are implemented and adhered to within the organisation, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Supporting non-finance colleagues and stakeholders in understanding all requirements related to the funding agreements.
• Leading the month-end process with the support of the Finance Business Partner and the Finance Officer.
• Leading on all financial systems set up and upgrades.
• Ensuring that all restricted funds are used in accordance with the funding agreements.
• Responsible for treasury and investment management across the organisation.
• Ensuring all payroll payments are made on time.
• Leading the procurement function across the organisation.

About you

If you are someone who has strong financial reporting, budget setting, and year end processing skills, with a keen eye on details and drive to facilitate change and enhance the finance function this role would be for you. 

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in working with the charity sector in a similar role for at least two years.
• Work well with non-finance colleagues and trustees in delivering key financial reports in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Be a qualified accountant.
• Be comfortable working in a hands-on environment

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with a fantastic charity supporting young unaccompanied refugees in England who are looking for an Interim Head of Fundraising & Communications to join their team for an initial 6 months period.

The Head of Fundraising & Communications will operate as an effective member of the Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO and acting as the strategic lead for the charity’s fundraising and communications activity.
