The Role
Reporting into the Funding and Innovation Manager you will support the delivery of our fundraising strategy and secure external funding into SNG communities and to charities we work with.
Key Responsibilities
- To support the Fundraising and Innovation Manager to deliver our fundraising strategy.
- To secure external funding to benefit SNG communities and customer facing teams around the following themes: Financial & Digital Inclusion, Employment and Training, Community Action and Engagement.
- Lead projects, bids and programmes that bring in external funding to SNG communities and to charities benefiting SNG communities.
- Innovate by supporting the testing and piloting of new programmes and partnerships and identify opportunities to the Head of Partnerships and Funding.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, including funders, businesses, local authorities and national agencies.
- Support the implementation of governance oversight for fundraising and systems and processes.

You should have demonstrable experience in a similar role or have knowledge within fundraising and partnerships. We're also looking for:
- Experience in previous roles of securing external funding via bid writing, public sector tenders and contracts, Trusts and Foundations and corporates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Persuasive writing and storytelling skills.
- Strong innovation mindset.
- Confident with budget management and financial systems.

We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. The role will involve supporting the team in the day to day running of the service including the preparation of contract documentation (such as registration forms, as well as specified supporting evidence: ID proofs, Proofs of Address etc.) for submission to funding partners, uploading data spreadsheets and CMS systems, and supporting the team with promotion, outreach and engagement of our services. About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Grants Fundraiser to join our highly successful Grants team at an exciting time for WWT.
As Grants Fundraiser you will manage a wide funder portfolio of charitable trust, statutory and Lottery grant partners, with a combined value in excess of £1M and supporting a range of high-impact and innovative programmes across the UK.
The Grants Team make a major contribution to raising critical funding for high-impact and innovative conservation, education and community-focussed programmes in the UK and internationally, raising in excess of £3M p/a. This is an exciting opportunity to maximise the potential of key relationships with a range of UK grant funders. The successful candidate will help influence the development of key projects to ensure projects are aligned with strategy and create compelling funding proposals.
The role is a permanent full time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is based at our Slimbridge office and suitable for hybrid working, with around one to two days a week required in the office. Occasional travel will be required to sites or funder meetings, so a driver's licence is desirable.

A fast-expanding IAPT compliant Service requires a service administrator to support a team of volunteer counsellors. The role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive PA to support the CEO. This is a critical role that requires exceptional administrative and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage complex international travel arrangements, provide governance and Board support, and oversee the CEO’s busy diary. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of handling sensitive information with discretion and working efficiently in a fact paced environment.
Ideally, the candidate should have relevant PA experience, however this is not essential for the role. Candidates with no experience will be considered if they have the relevant qualities of being trustworthy, hard working, eager to learn and have a great attention to detail.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Diary Management:
- Proactively manage the CEO’s diary, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
- Coordinate and prioritise the CEO’s daily activities to ensure efficient use of time.
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve them with minimal disruption to the CEO’s schedule.
Travel Coordination:
- Organise and manage complex international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, visas and security provision.
- Prepare detailed travel itineraries, ensuring all logistics are seamlessly coordinated.
- Handle any travel-related issues that may arise, including last-minute changes or emergencies.
- Monitor travellers safety during travel to medium-high risk locations (on-call), with the support of a security company.
Governance and Board Support:
- Provide administrative support for board meetings, including preparing agendas, distributing materials and taking minutes.
- Ensure the CEO is well-prepared for board meetings and other governancerelated activities.
- Manage communication with board members and assist with organisation of board-related events and functions.
Administrative Support:
- Handle correspondence on behalf of the CEO, including emails, phone calls and written communication
- Draft and prepare documents, presentations, and reports as required by the CEO
- Assist in managing the CEO’s expense reports, invoices, and other financial documentation
- Support the CEO in maintaining strong relationships with partners, donors, and other key stakeholders
Confidentiality and discretion:
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity
- Ensure that all communications and documents are managed in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
Knowledge and Skills
- Previous PA experience (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams/SharePoint

The role:
This key role in the Trust’s staff team will be reporting to the Head of Finance & Resources. The postholder will provide practical, administrative, project-management and communications support to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team. This person will additionally take the lead on the scheduling and minuting of governance meetings both for the Trust and its trading subsidiary, and will ensure efficient and smooth communications between the Trustees, SMT and the wider team.

The successful candidate will be a highly-organised individual with excellent prioritisation and time-management skills. They will have a excellent eye for detail and an ambition to improve processes and support the CEO and Chair of Trustees to enhance performance of employees and trustee boards through record-keeping and reporting, minute-taking, action-tracking, recording deadlines and monitoring contributions towards the Trust’s charitable purposes.
