We are looking for a Legacy Officer to ensure that legacy income is processed in accordance with internal policies.
You will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of legacy cases where the charity is named as a beneficiary; work with external solicitors and lay executors to ensure that gifts are received in a timely fashion and that all internal and external procedures and legislation is adhered to; promote pragmatic solutions and refer appropriate matters to the Senior Legacy Manager to ensure all reputational risks are proactively managed.
Additionally, you will be required to work on projects to improve the Legacy Team’s ways of working and to help support with the development and delivery of the team and organisational strategies.
Expected travel for this role is approximately meeting internal and external stakeholders as required, approximately twice per quarter; this may increase during busy periods. In addition, attendance to two all-staff away days per year and team away days in London on a quarterly basis.

Reporting to: Events Manager
Location:Hybrid. Home working with 40% of contracted hours at our office in Welwyn Garden City

The Willow Major Events Team hosts a range of events to engage Willow’s key supporters. These range in large-scale events such as the Willow Ball and London Football Awards, to smaller more intimate events such as Golf and Shoot Days.
Job purpose
- This role will support the delivery of Willow’s programme of Major Events, as well as supporting third party events, ensuring that these promote and present Willow in a professional and compelling manner, maximising opportunities for donor cultivation, fundraising and maximising income generation.
- To work with the Events Manager on delivering events to an exceptional standard.
- To lead on auction procurement and fulfilment to maximise fundraising revenue.
Key responsibilities
Core Events
- To support the events strategy through delivery of high-quality events, designed to attract current and new supporters.
- To support the Events Fundraising Manager in ensuring that each event plan is actioned in a timely and efficient manner, as well as working with external suppliers, ensuring all suppliers work to agreed terms and conditions
- To assist in the research, development and planning of potential new event opportunities, ensuring that the events programme evolves in response to new fundraising requirements, opportunities and sector trends.
- With support from Event Manager, lead on events within the portfolio, working with key stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring delivery of a high-quality event.
Auction
- Lead on securing auction prizes for relevant events, developing relationships with key supporters and external businesses to secure exclusive and desirable auction items.
- Manage the auction fulfilment process, ensuring all auction winners are thanked post event and that lots are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Oversee online auction platform, ensuring accurate listings, engaging descriptions and looking for ways to maximise income.
Event Supporter Stewardship
- Provide support on guest management, ensuring a smooth process for guests during the lead up to and on the day of the event.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, guests and stakeholders ensuring excellent stewardship and recognition
- To identify opportunities to engage or recruit new event supporters to existing or new events in the Willow calendar.
General
- To support the Events Manager with financial management of each event, supporting on areas such as: budgeting, planning, controlling and monitoring expenditure as appropriate and managing income against targets, KPI’s and provide regular revised projections as required.
- To maintain good practice in the use of database system (Raiser’s Edge), including the events module, ensuring that information is recorded accurately to allow for excellent supporter care, stewardship and accurate analysis of event performance.
- To keep up to date with current competitor activity, potential new opportunities for events and improved ways of managing and developing events.
- To keep up to date and comply with fundraising, data protection and other relevant legislation and codes of practice and good standards.

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. The Role
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Role Purpose
The Social Media Officer will play a crucial role in enhancing Dialogue Earth’s digital presence by implementing a dynamic and evolving social media strategy. Working closely with the Social Media Content Creator and international team members, the post-holder will ensure content is disseminated effectively across various platforms, with a strong focus on audience engagement and alignment with audience personas. They will also be responsible for developing campaigns, overseeing social media analytics, and presenting insights in engaging ways to support the organisation’s mission of promoting awareness and dialogue on environmental and climate change issues.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media Content Creator to develop and implement Dialogue Earth’s evolving global social media strategy.
- Work with Dialogue Earth’s editorial teams in the UK, China, South Asia, Latin America, and Southeast Asia to promote content effectively and innovatively on platforms, including Bluesky, X, WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others as needed.
- Oversee and guide the work of the part-time Social Media Officer in Southeast Asia by providing task management and feedback.
- In partnership with the Social Media Content Creator, develop and manage campaigns, such as thematic weeks and awareness initiatives.
- Collaborate with the editorial and social media teams to produce audience-centric social media content, ensuring alignment with established audience personas and continuously improving dissemination strategies.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report social media performance through streamlined analytics processes, making stats accessible and engaging for the broader team.

Further Information and Benefits
- Salary: £36,035.70 per annum.
- Working Hours: 32 hours per week from 9am-6pm. We offer a four-day working week, with full-time pay.

Global Campaigns Officer - Health
Contract type: Permanent (37.5 hours per week), Full time

About the Role: As our Global Campaigns Officer, you will be a key part of the team driving forward progress on our women’s health campaign. In particular, you will be responsible for some specific high-profile projects for the women’s health campaign, with the support of the Senior Campaigner. You will also keep the ‘engine’ of the global campaigns team by ensuring key working group and decision-making meetings are scheduled and internal communications compiled. You’ll also:
- Be an active member of specific campaign working groups and project teams, adding value by bringing your insights, ideas and solutions.
- Work alongside a number of country offices to support the delivery of their campaign plans, alongside other colleagues.
- Build excellent working relationships with country teams, federation member teams and others responsible for delivery of their campaigns.
- Support the Head of Campaigns and Senior Campaigner by tracking progress and engagement across country offices - documenting this in the campaign project plan.
- Maintain key tools that support the operation of the campaign, including a contact management system – that tracks engagement with decision makers and key influencers – and the campaign calendar.
- Provide administrative support relating to WaterAid’s global campaigns, including scheduling key meetings, coordinating feedback processes and taking minutes.

Requirements
You will be a self-starter, a great team player, a confident cross-cultural communicator and have strong project management skills.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Past background in campaigning, with an ability to evidence skills in public mobilisation (such as utilising communications, events, stunts, social media & other tactics to get the public behind your campaign).
- Experience of working on complex multi-stakeholder projects related to public campaigning/ advocacy/influencing.
- Excellent digital communication skills including social media and working virtually, as well as Microsoft Office (including Teams, Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
- Strong commitment to working in partnership with others in a collaborative and equitable way.
Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:
- Experience working with colleagues in different country contexts.

The role
This is an exciting role, to liaise and support partner organisations to ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and up to date, coded correctly on UH’s cashbooks and reconciled against bank statements. You will also provide technical support to partners’ finance staff and train them on the use of the cashbooks and financial reporting to UH.
You will be educated to degree level and have experience in a fast-paced and complex finance role. You should have experience of working with technical accounting packages as well as experience in financial planning and monitoring.
The role is fast-paced and complex, and the ideal candidate will need to have proven inter-personal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to assess priorities, organise workloads and initiate action and problem solve.

Role Responsibilities:
Individual Giving
- Support the Individual Giving Manager with day-to-day communications with our donor base, including timely database administration to capture communication preferences and personal details.
- Support the Database Manager with data and financial processes, including recording and batching donations, generating reports, contributing to supporter journeys and reconciling income.
- Undertake research into new projects and areas of fundraising and highlight areas of potential opportunities to raise income and ensure continuous supporter engagement.

The role is part of our work to achieve justice in society, where disabled people’s voices are amplified, and our message is heard and acted upon.
