As our Partnership Recovery and Development Manager you will need to work collaboratively and effectively in partnership with all agencies to ensure productive partnership working. You will support the development and implementation of a range of voluntary community sector roles throughout community mental health services in the Recovery Bristol Partnership. You will manage our Assistant Recovery Navigators, Recovery Navigators, Crisis Workers, Peer Recovery Workers and Facilitated Discharge Worker working in different hubs across the city.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Partnership Recovery and Development Manager:
- Work in partnership with AWP and Second Step to ensure the development and performance of VCS staff
- Facilitate partnership working between VCS partners and AWP, by acting as a key advocate for VCS roles at all Partnership meetings
- Proactively and professionally address and resolve challenges, working in a collaborative way, to ensure VCS staff are working within the remit of their roles
- Maintain and promote good understanding of Community Mental Health Services and the wider Bristol Mental Health Services
- Analyse problems and situations and find long-term solutions that benefit and improve the partnership
- Support the RBP to embed VCS Management policies and procedures to support effective Human Resources management and ensure the health and wellbeing of VCS staff
- Promote a supportive and recovery focused culture within the Partnership
- Support recruitment across the partnership
- Carry out HR processes for staff working in the partnership, for example, inductions, probationary reviews, appraisals, performance and absence management and disciplinaries
- In partnership with AWP managers conduct quality assurance reviews and ensure any issues are resolved

As a QEHB Charity Senior Corporate Fundraiser you will primarily be based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in Edgbaston, with frequent travel off site to attend meetings and events.
You will be key in helping to build new relationships with corporates across the region and nationally as well as nurture existing supporters.
This role is for someone with considerable experience in corporate fundraising (ideally 3-5 years) within a Charity with a proven track record of delivering on income targets and proactively generating fundraising leads and ideas.

About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, the Major Donor Manager sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team.
The role involves developing plans that feed into the USPG fundraising strategy to increase engagement from high net worth individuals and cultivating new high value donors. Managing the major donor income and expenditure budgets, ensuring all activity meets income targets and expenditure remains on budget. Developing and managing a pipeline of donors to approach and build relationships, securing high value (5 and 6 figure) gifts. Hosting meetings, presentations and special events to network with high value donors and cultivate new relationships.

About You
You are a confident, passionate fundraiser and relationship manager with the proven ability to motivate and inspire others to give. You have experience of implementing fundraising plans, developing a pipeline of high value donors and securing high value (5 and 6 figure) gifts. You are pro-active and self-sufficient, equally comfortable working alone or as part of a team to achieve shared goals. You are target driven with a hands-on approach, adapting as necessary to carry out a range of tasks from writing proposals, managing events and researching prospective donors.

Key Accountabilities
Secretariat support to governance committees:
- Drafting agendas, production and dissemination of papers for Committees and Board meetings to trustees
- Attendance to governance meetings, minute taking, and following up on actions
- Organising RFL annual governance schedule of meetings
- Liaising and acting as point of contact for trustees
- Arranging meetings for Execs and Trustees
