We are looking for a friendly and dynamic fundraiser to join our team and manage our Trust and Foundation applications. We need someone who cares and who wants to make a real difference, ideally with a disability background or a working knowledge of disability issues.

The Thames Valley Adventure Playground (TVAP) is run by the CIO Trustees and through their Playworkers and support staff provides safe and stimulating play and learning opportunities for over 25,000 visiting families and individuals with disabilities every year. TVAP also offers additional support to families through our respite and ancillary services.

TVAP is an inclusive adventure play space where siblings, friends of a child with additional needs and children from the local community are always welcome to come and join in the fun, play together and experience a special TVAP adventure.

This post is a unique opportunity for you to make a positive difference to thousands of individuals living with disabilities. The working hours will be a flexible 16 hours per week and the post is offered for an initial period of 1 year, which will be renewable by mutual agreement. Job Vacancy – Regional Adviser

The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is looking for an experienced, proactive and customer focused adviser to support the work of the wider Advice and Support team

The post holder will be responsible for the Midlands area plus other areas as required with an expectation of completing in person visits across the allocated counties.  The role therefore requires access to your own vehicle and to reliable broadband. A car allowance and mileage will be paid on top of the salary.

About the Masonic Charitable Foundation

The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is one of the UK’s leading charities, providing a range of benevolent support to individuals and awarding grants to local and national charities.

Our Regional Advisers are home-based workers who are compassionate and dedicated to responding to the needs of Freemasons and their dependents in their area, providing essential support. Their main purpose is to visit and contact members of the Masonic community to determine their needs and to help them to access support from the MCF and other relevant agencies. Support is provided through a combination of home visits, telephone calls, or video calling.

The role also provides guidance, support and recommendations to office based staff processing applications for our extensive range of grants to support those in need. They form close and effective working relationships with local volunteers, providing support and guidance to extend our reach.

Main responsibilities

• Responding to/visiting freemasons and their dependents to:

  • determine relevant support from the MCF or other agencies to meet their needs
• Face-to-face visits, video conferencing and in-depth telephone calls are required to provide extensive and detailed support.
• Production of accurate and comprehensive reports detailing agreed plans and all relevant supporting documents

Purpose of The role

Habitat GB is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Advocacy to lead our efforts in advocating for policy change within the UK government (in particular targeting the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) to prioritise housing in international development. This pivotal role will play a crucial part in supporting Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy agenda which aims to promote equitable access to adequate housing worldwide, focusing on informal settlements in the Global South. The Head of Advocacy will be instrumental in building Habitat GB's profile and influence, establishing strong relationships and coalitions with stakeholders in the UK, identifying lobbying opportunities, providing strategic political insight, and ensuring systematic monitoring and analysis of the international development political landscape. We are hiring! We have a job vacancy for a Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) / Dementia Coordinator.

Shine has a membership of over 13,500 members living with SpinaBifida and/or Hydrocephalus and associated conditions and over 6,000 associated members.

In the last year we have seen a 25% increase in members who are living with NPH across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. There are currently just under 600 members with NPH, plus their carers registered, but we are expecting this to continue to rise as awareness and diagnosis of the condition grows.

We are looking for an experienced, skilled, organised and dedicated new staff member to join Shine’s Services team to develop and lead our new NPH service.

Staff management:

1. Evaluate existing support for members living with NPH and their families/ carers within Shine

2. Develop and grow the service based on the needs and voice of our members

· In collaboration with Shine’s National Programmes & Membership Engagement Manager, Health and Services colleagues and external partners, lead the delivery of the NPH awareness week once a year

· Review existing and develop new resources for members with NPH alongside the Health team

· Develop and deliver an annual programme of events and peer support groups for members with NPH and their families and carers

· Oversee social media, Facebook and WhatsApp support groups

· Organise steering groups, providing opportunities for Shine members to guide the development of the service, and engage in consultations and research

· Develop partnership opportunities and closer working relationships with health professionals, statutory organisations and charities

· Identify key campaigns to improve the rights of members with NPH, improving access to statutory services, access to NHS care, awareness regarding diagnosis and treatment.

The role

The Associate Technical Advisor will support project management and provision of technical assistance to endemic country governments across a portfolio of NTD projects, with a focus on schistosomiasis (SCH) and soil-transmitted helminthiases (STH). Working with Deputy Directors and Technical Advisors within the Technical Team, the Associate Technical Advisor will contribute to planning and delivery of NTD programming, monitoring of progress and project outcomes, and reporting. 

Having excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel, the Associate Technical Advisor will have technical knowledge of global health issues and ideally also the control and elimination of neglected tropical diseases and will support the wider team in working respectfully and in partnership with our colleagues globally. The Associate Technical Advisor will ideally also have experience working in sub-Saharan Africa and effectively managing daily priorities in a flexible and adaptable manner.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Work with product owners to design and run paid digital campaigns (Meta ads, LinkedIn ads, PPC, display). Run campaigns in-house as well as manage the day-to-day work of media agencies.

Lead on email marketing, designing and building high-performing campaigns and journeys. Take ownership for training and support on the ESP platform
Monitor the impact of marketing campaigns, identify and recognise trends within the data and use these to inform future campaigns.

Support a data-driven and test and learn approach within the team, encouraging continual learning and optimisation, particularly focused on a testing approach to donation journeys.
