As our Senior Accountant & Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insight, advice and support to key stakeholders across the organisation. You will be a trusted adviser to non-finance teams helping them to understand financial data and make informed decisions. You will be a key element of the high-performing and credible finance team, supporting both the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant and the Assistant Accountant in operational finance and in ongoing delivery of accurate financial information on which the business partnering relies.

To be successful in this role you will have strong analytical skills, providing financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting advice to drive performance and operational efficiency. What you’ll do: 

• Deliver a decision support service to managers and directors to deliver improved financial performance outcomes for the RCR.
• Ensure that partners use effective financial controls over their spend and income conforming to RCR’s policies and to optimise RCR’s outcomes.
• Support the partners in the production of outturn forecasts, budgets and multiyear financial plans that conform to RCR’s financial needs.
• Provide effective analytical insight and advice to partners and Head of Finance to maximise the return on investment and support for implementing change to improve outcomes. 
• Supporting RCR’s regular financial and non-financial performance reporting with analytical advice, insight and commentaries.

We are looking for a Fundraising and Events Coordinator to join our busy team. This entry-level role will work across our organisation and the successful candidate will gain valuable experience in fundraising, event planning and management and marketing.

Children and Families Across Borders will be marking our 70th anniversary in 2024 and will be using this special occasion to leverage funds and raise our profile.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and management of large fundraising events. You will coordinate the event logistics and ensure that each event is successful. Working closely with the Deputy CEO, you will help to promote both events to CFAB’s donors and prospects and research and identify potential event sponsors.

You will also help us to work on our annual online fundraising campaign, The Big Give Christmas Challenge. Working with both the fundraising and marketing team, you will help us to create initial design concepts and draft copy. You will help us to clean and segment donor and prospect data and log all communications on our CRM database.

This position will also play an important role in creating our donor communications throughout the year including regular updates and our annual impact report.

In addition, the candidate will also be responsible for some administrative functions including updating our CRM database, prospect research and collecting data on our services.

The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration for its own estate. For this reason CCT has been contracted to deliver a programme of work for Historic Chapels Trust (HCT). HCT owns and cares for 20 of the most significant Nonconformist and Catholic chapels no longer in regular use by their congregations, all listed at Grade I and Grade II*.  Key to the project is management of the assets, funded by the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) through their Cultural Assets Fund (CAF).

As a member of CCT’s national Conservation team you will be the main point of contact for all chapel maintenance related issues, liaising closely with contractors, local groups and volunteers. Alongside the Conservation Projects Manager for Chapels you will deliver the maintenance programme, including regulatory and legal compliance, as well as deal with utilities and insurance of chapels. 10 of the chapels are in our North region, 6 in our West region and 4 are in our South East region.

You will have previous experience in the field of historic buildings maintenance, repair or property management. You will be an effective communicator, be able to plan and deliver your own workload and also work as part of a team. As you’ll be working at chapels throughout England it is essential you have a full driving licence.

We're a registered charity on a mission to improve the way that credit is provided and create better support and solutions for people who are struggling with debt. We conduct high quality research and test out innovative solutions. We're now seeking an External Affairs Lead to ensure we achieve maximum impact.

Working with our Chief Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing our stakeholder engagement strategy and will lead our external communications and engagement, including with respect to Parliamentarians, regulators, funders, and the media. 

This a key position in our small but developing organisation, and the role requires a deep commitment to our mission and values. The successful applicant will have a wide range of skills and experience, including with respect to stakeholder engagement, marketing and communications, effective team working and project management.

Job Description

Salary Range: £38,000 to £45,000. 

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week. Consideration will be given to four day working and other flexible arrangements.

Line Manager: Digital Communications Lead

Your responsibilities will include:

Social media delivery and community management

• Plan and deliver inspiring and effective social media content, including as part of engagement campaigns, fundraising appeals and initiative launches, and in support of our partners and members.
• Produce text- and video-/graphic-based social media posts and campaigns that are both suited to our target audiences and adapted for the most appropriate social channels.
• Carry out community management across the charity's digital channels, triaging queries and drafting responses.
• Assist with the optimisation of Rewilding Britain's current social media channels and the identification of new opportunities/platforms/trends that would help further our mission.
  

Email communications 

• Support the Communications and Engagement team with the planning, building and scheduling of email communications (campaigns, supporters, fundraising, corporate partners etc) within Mailchimp.
• Assist with the AB testing of our email marketing and executing a plan of continuous improvement for our emails.
• Support with managing our enquiry inboxes as and when required.
  

Reporting and optimising

• Collate statistics on the performance of our social and email channels, in line with our KPIs, and work closely with the Digital Communications Lead to make ongoing recommendations for our output.
• Implement feedback and lessons learned to refine and improve our social media approach.
• Stay current with sector and specialist trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously grow the effectiveness of our channels, particularly social media.

Communications support

• Take responsibility for triaging internal requests for content output across our channels and coordinate this across the Communications and  Engagement team.

• Support the team by uploading content to Rewilding Britain's website, following best practice. You may also provide support for more involved web optimisation projects.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits

The role is a full-time, 5-day-week (35 hours) position.

The salary is £23,000 - £27,000 per annum depending upon experience.

Purpose of the post

HDR UK is seeking to appoint an experienced and hands-on Project Coordinator to deliver vital UK-wide initiatives which focus on building public trust and confidence in the use of data and statistics in research. Reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager, Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement at HDR UK and the Senior Communications and Engagement Manager at DARE UK, this new and pivotal role will work with several PEDRI and DARE UK partner organisations. The role will be key to supporting and drawing on the expertise of organisations across the data research and statistics sector in the UK to embed meaningful public engagement and involvement in data research.

PEDRI has set up its approach and delivery plan until March 2027 and needs a skilled and collaborative Project Coordinator to drive the delivery of this plan. The role holder will bring effective project coordinating tools and skills to work with and support organisations, teams and senior leaders to deliver on objectives across communications, events and stakeholder involvement and engagement. Additionally, the post holder will directly support one of PEDRI’s founding partners; DARE UK’s public involvement and engagement functions and will have a central role in working across the data research and statistics ecosystem. The post holder will draw on expertise to enable shared knowledge and good practise-based learning about involvement and engagement of patients, the public and practitioners in data science.

The successful candidate will share HDR UK’s values, have strong collaboration skills, excellent communications skills, be comfortable with supporting multiple projects at pace in a complex organisation and demonstrate a clear willingness and passion to support organisations within the Initiative to trial, develop and deliver innovative approaches to engagement.

Main responsibilities

• Organise and administer PEDRI meetings including the Governing Board, Steering Group and Public Advisory Group meetings, annual Away Days and ad-hoc working group meetings whilst ensuring agendas, meeting notes and actions are sent out in a timely manner
• Support the delivery of detailed project plan for PEDRI, reporting on progress, and highlighting key milestones and risks to key stakeholders
• Develop and maintain partnerships with PEDRI partners and facilitate the involvement of key stakeholders throughout the Initiative
• Support the Initiative Co-Leads with meeting set up, note taking and following on actions as needed.
• Co-ordinate regular reports from different working groups and prepare relevant updates for onward communication
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

Experience

• Experience of working with the public and supporting PPIE activities

This advisory role will play a key contribution to help grow the RSPB’s Fair to Nature programme and improve habitats to protect and restore nature and wildlife on UK farms with one specific major business partner, and also with a wide range of other farmers and businesses.

What's the role about?

For the key strategic business partnership the role will visit farmer-suppliers and provide in-person habitat advice to improve the conditions for biodiversity on the farms visited.

You will use this insight and experience to provide the content to help inform communications tools and a broader advisory programme for other farms within the partnership (you will not be responsible for the communications execution).

For other Fair to Nature farmers, and businesses directly linked to them, you will prepare for and complete advisory visits and follow up with applicant Fair to Nature farmers and share the benefits of Fair to Nature certification. You will advise them on how to comply with the FtN Standard and help them complete their Farm Plan.

Essential knowledge, skills and experience:

• Knowledge of land management practices that deliver nature and wider environment benefits on farmland.
• Understanding of the ecology of main farmland taxa, particularly those of conservation concern.
• Understanding of agricultural systems and how conservation management may impact on farming practice.
• Able to communicate effectively with farmers and advise them on land management for nature.
• Ability to be self-motivated and work efficiently within a defined work plan. This necessitates the ability to plan and organise their own work.
• Competent IT user (e.g. MS packages, Outlook etc).
• An ability to produce clear written communications.
• Proven time management and organisational skills to meet project deadlines.
• Experience of working with farmers.
• Experience of giving land and / or habitat management advice.

Senior AV Technician
Location: Based in Kensington, London.

As part of the Venue Hire team you will be leading on the AV elements of Society and Venue Hire client event delivery and assist them to project their ideas with technical expertise. You will be responsible for leading the technical team for events requiring support with Audio/Video, streaming, hybrid, lighting and recording needs.

Duties and responsibilities 

• Lead the technical production of high-profile, technically complex events and assist in the hands-on delivery of events in line with the programme requirements for the venue.
