We run a small night shelter provision and a day centre from two sites in Edmonton, Enfield. These services were set up to meet the needs of those rough sleeping and on the cusp of homelessness in the borough to provide daytime respite and independent housing related advocacy and support. Our night shelter service is a static, single occupancy provision managed by the council where we have up to 6 beds for our clients who, predominantly, have complex immigration issues and NRPF. Our day centre provision is open 3 days per week and provides respite, a light food offering, access to IT, laundry and shower facilities for clients to access.
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic person to join our team as a Project Worker. The role will involve undertaking assessments, conducting housing-related casework, providing advice and advocacy and supporting clients who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or rough sleeping to identify and address the underlying cause of their homelessness. We work in partnership with a number of key local agencies to ensure that our clients are able to access the services and support they need at the time they need it. The role is predominantly based out of the day centre with between 0.5 and 1 day per week based at the shelter to casework and support our clients there.

Salary
The spot salary for this post is £38,128 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants who do not meet all the requirements of the post will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and lead-deliver a wide variety of energy and carbon reduction projects and activities with communities, businesses, and individuals across North Wales.
- Plan and support the Energy Advice Team to deliver our service in line with all funder and contract requirements, ensuring quality of support, time management and report requirements are all completed in appropriate time aligned with all requirements.
- Manage and monitor the Energy Advice Team through performance monitoring and monthly review.
- Using a standard Groundwork Federation GHG Inventory Tool for emission reporting develop, deliver and monitor our annual carbon reduction plan, working with business managers to ensure data is recoded correctly and improvements to our carbon footprint are made.
- Facilitate the renewal of the Green Dragon accreditation, implementing and managing our internal environment systems and processes up to a level 3 standard.
- Arrange and carry out home visits to support residents in reducing their carbon emissions and to save money by lowering the level of consumption and cost of energy.
- Advocate and liaise for householders with energy companies and gas and electric network providers to ensure customers receive the best possible deal for their requirements.
- Work with referral partners to identify vulnerable households, and evidence eligibility to provide support with energy advice and administer emergency fuel vouchers.
- Provide effective support, both advisory and practical, to enable people to make positive changes to their behaviour and to improve the quality of their lives; record actions and highlight the importance of keeping warm to the health and wellbeing of residents.
- Assist residents to access other relevant and complementary services and agencies, liaising with other agencies to assist residents to access funding and support to deliver larger energy efficiency measures.
- Liaise with residents on a day-to-day basis in a professional and friendly manner and build good working relationships with them either face to face or through the provision of telephone advice.
- Oversee the booking and scheduling of visits and respond to referrals from funders in a timely manner.
- Oversee the ordering of stock, ensuring stock levels are maintained and stock is monitored closely.
- Undertake monitoring information and reporting requirements as required by the Trust and funders, ensuring all the funders’ requirements are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Run events or energy surgeries to raise awareness of projects in local communities.
- Deliver outreach activities to generate referrals, e.g. door-knocking, events, road shows, etc.
- Work flexibly as part of the Energy Advice Team and across other teams, including occasional weekend working.

Your primary role will be to keep our service and young people, safe. You will help to contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations. In addition, you will complete health and safety checks, ensuring the service is clean and tidy and reporting any repairs. You will be lone working as part of the role, so you will need to be comfortable with decision making and following procedures.
You will work Sunday - Thursday 20:00 - 07:00, Friday and Saturday 21:00 - 08:00 on a four night on, four night off rota. Although these are long shifts, you will get four days off after, which can provide a great work life balance.

As the Head of Data, you will develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy to support the organization's mission. This involves translating complex data needs into clear dashboards and ensuring data quality for various reporting needs, including external stakeholders.
You will collaborate with data champions across the organization to drive data-driven decisions, ensuring data is accessible, well-understood, and fit for strategic and tactical purposes. Your expertise in data management—including structures, definitions, modelling, and visualisation—will be crucial in coaching and implementing changes.
Your role will be central in fostering a data-centric culture within the organization. By leveraging your skills in data leadership, project management, and analysis, you will ensure sustainable growth through effective data management practices, enabling the organization to make informed decisions and achieve strategic goals.
Skills required for the Head of Data are:
- Experience in PowerBI and visualisation tools
- Great knowledge of Raisers Edge And/or NXT
- Line management & strategy experience
- An expert communicator and have the ability to work with senior stakeholders

Your new company
A permanent position has arisen within a large, renowned regulatory body, based in Central London. You will work as a Finance Business Partner and play a key role in the delivery of accurate financial services. The working pattern is hybrid , equating to 1 day in the office per week.
Your new role
- Reporting to the Finance Manager.
- Lead on the accurate and timely production of management accounts with relevant variance analysis and appropriate commentary.
- Oversee the production of monthly accruals, prepayments, deferred income and other accounting journals into the accounting system.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Provide business partnering support across the business. Work with budget holders to ensure that their performance against budget is understood.
- Drive forward the development of financial reporting.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial systems.
What you'll need to succeed
- Part-qualified and actively studying for a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial software.
- Strong management accounting and business partnering experience.
- Good technical experience with a good understanding of statutory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Our client, a leading London University are currently looking to recruit a temporary Academic Admin and Student Engagement Manager on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). The post will be looking to start as soon as possible, running for 2 months in the first instance. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days onsite based in Greenwich.
Key responsibilities for this post will include:
- Providing line management and effective leadership to the Academic Administration team to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Overseeing the running of the Student Engagement team.
- Working with the Dean to project manage and ensure the successful completion of strategic tasks across departments and courses.
- Working with various department heads to support with budget monitoring and ensuring that resource demands are met consistently.
- Proactively working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective running of interdepartmental processes and service delivery.
- Producing relevant management information in an efficient and timely manner to inform both internal and external decision-making and reporting.
To be considered for this post, you will have:
- Experience of working within a Higher Education or similar organisation setting.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in attendance monitoring within Higher Education.
- Experience of developing and implementing processes, procedures, and services.
- Experience of successful line management and leadership.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence with liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
