Our Finance & Performance team are looking for a skilled and experienced finance professional with excellent communication and analytical skills to become the new Financial Performance & Analysis Accountant in Birmingham. 

In this newly created role you will be responsible for the provision of high quality financial performance reporting, management information and business insights to inform decision making and drive financial performance.   

You will be responsible for the month end activities including production of the management accounts with analysis and commentary as well as supporting the financial planning process and provision of financial performance reports.  You will also be responsible for the management and development of our Assistant Management Accountant and will collaborate with Finance & Performance colleagues as well as the Finance Business Partners.

This role is ideal if you want to join a friendly and capable finance team where you will play a key role in shaping and developing our financial performance and reporting function.

The Director of Education Services is key to every learner’s success. The role will support people aged 18 and over who have experienced sexual abuse or rape at any point. As Educational Partnerships Manager you will be a key contributor to the South Central & East of England regional educational partnerships team, supporting the team to achieve shared KPIs for the region and the wider organisation. The Role

At this important time, we are looking for a high calibre candidate to join our team as a Fundraising Manager. You will be responsible for working with the CEO, Fundraising Officers and Fundraising and Development Committee (a planning board which consists of staff, trustees and volunteers) in all aspects of fundraising. In this role, you will oversee fundraising systems/procedures, support in the management of existing funding streams, the development of corporate giving and an ambitious capital fundraising campaign. You will manage two Fundraising Officers and one Volunteer Coordinator (the Development Team) who works closely with the Fundraising Team to coordinate events, increase engagement with supporters and build corporate partnerships.

You will have excellent analytical skills, excellent written English, extremely efficient organisation skills and excellent inter-personal and communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a proven track record of fundraising. You will also have passion and enthusiasm for the mission of The ClementJames Centre.

This role

We are recruiting for a new role providing EA support to the CEO and administrative support across the organisation. 

Justice and Care is at an exciting moment with the imminent launch of a new ten-year strategy and this role will be a key part of our team and play a vital role in helping us achieve our vision. 

This role will report to the Head of HR but will provide EA support to the CEO and ad hoc support to other members of the Senior Leadership Team. The role will provide administrative support across the organisation so will get to work alongside all teams. 

Your main responsibilities will include;

• High volume diary management for the CEO and providing ad hoc diary support for other members of the Senior Leadership Team. 

• Management of Board meetings including coordinating dates, venues and preparing and circulating Board reports. 

• Office Management including liaising with suppliers / brokers, relationship management with office landlord and overseeing office supplies and equipment

• Internal event organisation (e.g. staff away day, Christmas party, Leadership meetings), including budget management, venue booking, overseeing delivery on site.

• Management of travel arrangements for the CEO and ad hoc management for other members of the Senior Leadership team.

• Hosting visitors to the UK office including management of travel arrangements and itineraries. 

• General team administration including managing video conferencing, team calendar events, upkeep of Intranet and shared team documents.

• Managing the relationship with the IT contractor, procuring IT equipment and dealing with any breakages 

• Managing work experience placements in the London office.

• Point of Contact - being the first point of contact for general external enquiries, overseeing our generic email address, managing calls on the office phone and managing physical post.

Although this role is predominantly working from home the role does require monthly travel to see our local teams which are currently accross the south of England. ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will involve working as part of a team providing 1st and 2nd line remote and on-site support to the services across London and a site in Berkshire. The ideal candidate for the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer role will have at least 3-6 years of experience in Windows Server and Desktop focused IT support. The position will be responsible for resolving day-to-day IT issues, maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting a range of software and equipment across our network. . You will have strong expertise and the ability to provide rapid solutions and working flexibly in resolving and further investigating possible escalations. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Managing and maintaining computer hardware and software issues from logging to resolution, to ensure high levels of availability of the supported business  applications.
2. Liaising internally and externally with technical support companies and suppliers and working alongside the IT Manager and Application Support team, the role of 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will involve the following tasks:
3. Using the Helpdesk ticket logging system to facilitate Desktop/Remote Support.
4. Liaising with Support Companies to get issues fixed.
5. Configuring, installing and supporting any client hardware and software.
6. Configuring, installing and supporting mobile devices and internal phone systems.
7. Assisting with new user desk setups, desk moves and associated cabling.
8. Processing new and leaver’s accounts.
9. Maintaining Asset register of all IT equipment.
10. Managing, assessing, and reporting on project activities to meet deadlines.
11. Focus on solving customer’s problems, striving to understand their needs.
12. Be aware of the key IT and cyber risks, proactively operating to minimise these risks within the remit of the role, acting quickly to notify of any potential or  identified IT risks through the appropriate incidents and escalations process
13. Maintaining end-user computing solutions including physical desktops, mobile devices (laptops, tablets, smart phones), printers, and end-device security including remote access technologies.
14. To be a car driver and have access to a car during office hours and willing to drive between locations.
