As Philanthropy Manager you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Philanthropy fundraising strategy, working closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, to implement a plan to deliver and significantly grow major gifts. You will be responsible for building relationships with individual supporters who are able to make major gifts as well as mid-value donors. You will personally manage a portfolio of donors and support the Philanthropy team to achieve income and other KPIs.
As a key member of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, you will work across the organisation to develop opportunities for supporters to be partners in delivering our ambitious plans to end new cases of HIV in the UK by 2030 and be here until the last person living with HIV needs us.
Main duties of the role:
- Lead our philanthropy activities, leading on the development of the operational plan and overseeing delivery of the programme and income and expenditure targets.
- Liaise with relevant colleagues across the wider organisation, looking for ways to work jointly to meet the needs of the people we engage.
- Always take a supporter focused view, being led by their preferences and wishes, and delivering our work in a way that is going to appeal the most to our target audiences.
- Develop and implement clear strategies for the effective management and cultivation of THT's existing and prospective major donors and mid value supporters.
- Diversify our supporter base to ensure that our audiences better reflect the population and the communities that we serve.
- Make approaches to potential supporters and partners, engaging them in our work and securing their support.
- Proactively develop and oversee the philanthropy new business pipeline, working with colleagues across the organisation to identify new opportunities.
- Manage and support two direct reports: the Special Events and Patrons Officer and the Major Gifts Executive.
- Evaluate activities to continually optimise our relationships with supporters and partners for greater mutual benefit.
- Be responsible for budgets for major gifts income and expenditure, ensuring regular reporting and monitoring.
- Stay abreast of changes and trends in fundraising practice to continually optimise performance, as well as ensuring compliance with changing regulations, including GDPR.

As Senior Fundraising Officer (Corporate Partnerships), you will:
- Identify and develop potential new business relationships and funding opportunities for YMCA England & Wales, including developing compelling new fundraising propositions and staying abreast of emerging areas of interest for businesses and innovation within the corporate charity partnerships space.

The fundraising team generates more than £10m every year, around half of which comes through gifts left to the charity as legacies. Your new role
We need a dynamic, innovative and driven lottery administrator curious about data, and passionate about using data to solve problems. You will have an excellent knowledge of relational databases and be experienced in importing, selecting, analysing and validating large data sets.
Responsible for all administration of the St Christopher’s monthly lottery, you will help grow our lottery donors with accurate and efficient data entry and timely report production. Working with the Individual Giving Manager you will ensure full compliance with all Gambling Commission and other regulatory regulations.

- To help us grow our lottery income from £.5m to £1m, using multiple channels: face to face, telemarketing, direct mail, email and paid social.

We are looking for a Global Technical Lead – Inclusive Education to provide technical leadership and expertise in inclusive education to guide the development and delivery of specific initiatives and programmes.
As the Global Technical Lead for Inclusive Education, you will support Sightsavers to promote inclusive education for children, youth, and adults with disabilities in education systems in West Africa, East, Central and Southern Africa (ECSA), and South Asia. As an Individual Giving Fundraiser you will plan, develop and implement a programme of individual giving campaigns to acquire new one-off cash and regular donors, secure repeat donations from our warm database and upgrade donors to maximise and grow our induvial giving income.
You will analyse and monitor performance of campaigns and make tactical and strategic recommendations to enhance results using the full marketing mix. You will lead on developing donor journeys for our existing and new supporters ensuring donors feel valued and understand the impact their donations make.

What you’ll do
Individual Giving
· Using a storytelling technique develop and deliver all aspects of direct marketing appeals ensuring effective and emotive copywriting and by working collaboratively with colleagues and external suppliers to deliver within budget and meet income targets.
· Co-ordinate all aspects of Age Scotland’s donor acquisition programme to develop and build our individual donor base using traditional and digital channels.
· Lead the creation and implementation of donor journeys to recruit, retain, upgrade and re-activate donors. Review and make recommendations where appropriate.
· Explore, develop and test new ways of recruiting new donors and generating income.
· Lead the creation of a strategy to re-activate lapsed donors.
· Develop and implement plans to recruits payroll giving donors.
· Work with colleagues throughout the organisation to identify, engage and cross-sell individual giving opportunities to key stakeholder groups.

Fundraising administration and processes
· Work closely with the Fundraising & Marketing Assistant to warmly thank donors for their support and ensure an exceptional level of donor care.
· Capture monthly income from the different individual giving income streams on the fundraising database.
· Lead on tracking individual giving income to meet targets and ensuring costs are within budget.
· Project and forecast income and contribute to annual operating plan.
· Ensure the website is up to date with individual giving fundraising activity.
· Ensure all individual giving activity is run in compliance with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising codes of practice.
· Maintain accurate and up to date records and accept responsibility for the safe and secure handling and storage of confidential information, and in accordance with GDPR and Age Scotland’s own data protection policies.
· Work with the fundraising and database administrator to ensure gift aid claims are processed accurately and timely.
Other Duties
· When required, support in taking donations or setting up regular donations over the phone.
· During peak campaign periods support in the processing of donations.
· Attend, present and participate in events and meetings, as appropriate, to represent and promote Age Scotland’s interests.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that each income stream feeds into and supports others so that funds are maximised.

- Manage community fundraising enquires and challenge event registrations via the MQ website and other digital platforms such as Just Giving
- Assist with the development of community and challenge event marketing and stewardship materials
- Be a key point of contact for event organisers of third-party events, including Run for Charity
- Source and manage new opportunities for community fundraising and engagement, including schools, colleges and universities.
- Work closely with Marketing Team colleagues to develop community and challenge event marketing and stewardship material
- Upload challenge event opportunities to the MQ website.
- To support social media ads for community fundraising products and our challenge events.
- Reply to messages and moderate comments on our social media channels.
- Support the content team with additional content when needed e.g. social media posts, blogs etc.
- Send out supporter packs to new fundraisers when they initially sign up and fundraising materials when needed throughout the supporter journey
- Attend challenge events and community fundraising events as required to support MQ fundraisers (Will include some evenings and weekends)
About You:
This role is for you, if you have 1+ years’ experience in supporting community and events fundraising and track record of achieving financial targets and key objectives.
We need someone with experience of working on challenge events as well as knowledge of marketing and social media management.
You'll need to be organised, creative and proactive.
Experience of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge/NXT is desirable but not essential.

The Role
The role requires multitasking and problem solving across a range of responsibilities, including overseeing data bases, managing service contracts, setting up and reviewing our admin processes, completing data reports, supporting the senior management team, event planning and delivery.

About the Role
We are looking for an EDI Committee Chair to provide direction to the organisation’s EDI-BIIDE Work and to lead the EDI-BIIDE Committee, ensuring alignment between the organisation’s EDI-BIIDE Action Plan and the organisation’s three-year strategy and resources.

About the Role
