Flint House Police Rehabilitation is a registered Charity offering rehabilitation services to ill or injured serving and retired police officers suffering from a wide variety of physical and mental health conditions. Every year we treat over 3,000 police officers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets and support the Flint House strategic plan and mission.

Qualifications and Experience

• Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, business administration, marketing, or a related field (master's degree preferred). Membership with the Institute of Fundraising.
• Significant experience in non-profit fundraising, development, or related field, with a proven track record of success in meeting fundraising goals and securing major gifts -  annual fundraising income of upward of £1 million.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate the charity's mission and impact to diverse audiences.
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising appeals, grant proposals, and other donor communications.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in donor management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant fundraising tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, ethical guidelines, and regulations governing charitable organisations.
• Working knowledge of marketing communications strategy and donor engagement.
• Proven line manager and demonstrated ability to work across all levels within Flint House to support and drive our fundraising efforts.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Hall Farm in Snetterton for an experienced maintenance supervisor to work closely with the Centre Manager to efficiently maintain the general buildings and pasture at our Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Snetterton, Norfolk.

The key responsibilities of this role are to ensure an up to date, well-planned, effective preventative and reactive maintenance regime is in place. This role is responsible for a team of two maintenance assistants and is required to provide daily support and on-going training and development as required.  You will be responsible for the critical systems such as drainage, water, lighting, heating and fire related alarm systems as well as ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for the pasture management and the use of all relevant chemicals and pesticides where necessary.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in general maintenance in relation to buildings, grassland/pasture management and have the ability to react swiftly to maintenance requests to meet strict timescales. You will possess excellent communication skills, highly organised with a sound understanding of the principles of H&S and Fire Safety in a similar environment.  You will also be required to drive certain farm machinery such as tractors and transporters.

High Net Worth Philanthropy

Alongside the corporate offering, we would like this role to come and help us shape a strong proposition for major donors. You will use your strengths in relationship development and management to support and grow our base of high net worth supporters. There will also be a role of coordinating the pipeline of major donors, nurturing and supporting relationships through our extended network across the organisation and beyond.
 

Main responsibilities
 

Corporate Partnerships

• Work with the Head of Engagement, Communications and Fundraising to review our current corporate partnerships offerings & processes. Develop a set of recommendations for improvements, with the potential to overhaul the proposition and shape it in your own vision. This will cover a full range of relationships from larger charity of the year type partnerships to pro-bono support

• Manage our new business pipeline and generate new leads, with a focus of onboarding partners who share our vision & ambition and meet the environmental & ethical standards of our vetting process

  • Attend or arrange events to facilitate networking and lead generation 

• Develop relationships at all levels, from senior decision makers to more junior staff in companies, inspiring them with our vision and ensuring long-term buy-in

• Delivery:

We have supported over 48,000 animals and built two dog shelters and one for disabled and senior cats. As a Philanthropy Executive, you will work closely with the Philanthropy Manager supporting the development of a proactive and sustainable major donor programme. Your role will involve the relationship management of a portfolio of major donors and prospects; ensuring the donors you work with are engaged with our cause, and that you are responding to their individual stewardship needs as you keep them updated with our work.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the Philanthropy Manager in making strategic decisions to grow our major donor programme: providing insight from the excellent relationships you will manage, identifying opportunities and securing significant contributions ranging from four to six figures.

You will develop and use stewardship tools to guide donors through their giving journey, including cultivation plans, proposals, and reports. You will be involved in sourcing and presenting tailored information to donors, making appropriate financial and non-financial requests. You will facilitate and attend meetings and events, both in person and online, to nurture these relationships.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with colleagues and volunteers across the organisation to support our fundraising efforts.

To succeed in this role, you should have a good understanding of sector trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements. You will also need to accurately record and report on your activities and portfolio, contributing to the team's KPIs.

What are we looking for?

A very skilled communicator with the ability to write and present clearly and persuasively. You should have experience securing major donations or other high-value support, or managing influential partnerships; ideally within a similar role in either the charity or commercial sector. Building and maintaining excellent relationships with individuals and organisations at all levels is essential.

A proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial targets is desirable. You should be creative and adaptable, able to identify and maximise opportunities. Strong IT skills are important, and knowledge of Raisers Edge is a plus.

You should be able to prioritise tasks and work flexibly across organisational boundaries, thriving as part of a team. A full driving licence for UK travel is desirable but not essential.

CAFOD’s Major Donor Executive will play a key role in delivering our fundraising programme. They will help develop and implement operational plans, manage a portfolio of existing donors and work to identify prospective new donors and their networks. They will work alongside a collaborative and talented team of fundraising professionals who support and encourage each other to reach their fundraising and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Donor relationship management 

• Develop lasting relationships with existing donors and new prospects, building and managing a portfolio of donors giving £5,000 upwards

• With the Philanthropy Manager and Major Donor Team, devise and implement online and offline communication plans with a clear focus on securing funds for CAFOD’s core programmes 

• Steward donors effectively, to ensure satisfaction and long-term commitment. Communicate, thank and report back on the work of CAFOD using donors preferred channels, ensuring the highest standards of donor care 

• Ensure systematic data input and management so that key information, donor interactions and communications are appropriately recorded  in line with organisational systems and processes, and in compliance with GDPR and fundraising best practice 

• Work with the Philanthropy Manager, the Research and Information Team, Senior Management colleagues and Trustees to carry out donor research, identify new prospects and grow the pipeline of donors. 

• As part of the team’s wider work, contribute to (and at times lead on) hosting cultivation and stewardship events – including planning event logistics; sending and tracking invitations; hosting and speaking at events; co-ordinating follow-up and completing evaluations 

 Contribute to Major Donor strategy, plans and income targets 

• Contribute to the development of team annual plans and income forecasts

Cumberland Lodge, based in Windsor Great Park,  is an educational charity that exists to provide young people with the skills, perspective, and confidence to question, challenge, and understand, some of the most complex social issues of our time. Day-to-day, our historic venue, spacious grounds, and facilities operate as a social enterprise, hosting multi-day residential retreats, workshops, conferences, and similar events on a commercial basis. For this newly-created role, we are seeking a passionate, creative and results-driven Business Development & Marketing Manager to help us grow occupancy and generate more income from group bookings to fund an expansion in our charitable work. Resolve Poverty is seeking a Network Development Coordinator to establish a cross-sectoral community of Liverpool City Region based stakeholder organisations. Working with this community, the Network Development Coordinator will identify opportunities to strengthen anti-poverty activities across the city region that align with Resolve Poverty’s strategic priorities to: 

o Maximise the financial resources available to households 

o Implement effective strategic responses to poverty 

o Equip stakeholders with the knowledge they need to tackle poverty.

This exciting new role will enable you to harness the work of Resolve Poverty so that we can have impact across Liverpool City Region. You will join a dedicated and growing team working to maximise the impact of local responses to poverty in order to resolve poverty nationally. 

Title: Network Development Coordinator (Liverpool City Region) 

Location: Combination of homeworking and office based. There is an expectation that you will work one day a week from our offices in central Manchester.
