Our Grants and Trusts Manager is responsible for managing and developing ReachOut’s income from Trusts and other Grant-making bodies. Working closely with the partnerships team and the Head of Programmes & Impact they will make evidence-informed decisions and collaborate across the organisation to meet our strategic aims. This role is currently reporting to the CEO for an interim period, but longterm will report to the Head of Marketing and Partnerships.

Role purpose
In this new role, you’ll create and grow fundraising opportunities from businesses, individuals, community groups and grant-giving trusts and foundations to help Cirencester Food Bank realise its aim of ending food poverty.
You'll be at the heart of our local community, bringing our cause to life and building lasting relationships with our stakeholders and the wider Cotswolds Community.
Responsibilities
- You’ll identify and prioritise a pool of potential Trusts and Foundations funders for Cirencester Food Bank and, working with colleagues, you’ll develop authentic, compelling, creative and winning funding bids that can successfully engage new and existing Trusts and Foundations funders.
- You’ll work closely with and support the Head of Cirencester Food Bank and the Foodbank’s Treasurer in maintaining and evolving existing relationships, and seeking and pursuing new funding and grant opportunities.
- You’ll engage with local community groups, associations, events, schools and businesses in order to inform and educate on the causes of, and solutions to food poverty and to grow the Foodbank’s community fundraising reach and income.
- Utilising the knowledge gathered from the local community and the Foodbank, you will provide input into relevant stakeholder groups to help end the need for foodbanks.
- You’ll generate and distribute communications to stakeholders and community groups about the work of the Foodbank, which will include: marketing and information brochures, the Foodbank’s annual food poverty report and other external messaging in written, published social and electronic formats
- You’ll represent the Foodbank at community events to ensure effective sharing of the work of the Foodbank, and to develop relationships
- Capitalising on your community connections in the local area, you will support the Foodbank’s Operations Manager in raising awareness of the need for food donations if stocks become critically low, or for key campaigns around Harvest and Christmas.
- You’ll work with colleagues to support client engagement to ensure stories and case studies are captured which help illustrate the charities impact, issues that lead people into food poverty and enable further advocacy, which can then be shared with funders and the wider community.

Key Skills and Experience:
- You’ll have a proven track record of building relationships with individuals, community groups, trusts and foundations and other donors to achieve and exceed annual income targets and Key Performance Indicators.
- You’ll have the capacity to create and craft compelling proposals and appeals that successfully engage and attract donations from new and existing supporters.
- You’ll have strong experience of corporate partner and individual giving fundraising.
- With excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills, you will inspire and motivate existing and prospective supporters, providing excellent stewardship and crafting compelling and winning funding proposals and appeals.
- Your strong IT skills will enable you to use and develop the Foodbanks systems to maximise fundraising impact and community engagement.
- You’ll have an understanding of other areas of fundraising, such as grant giving trusts and foundations fundraising and fundraising from community groups and associations.
- You’ll have experience of setting, managing and reporting against fundraising KPI’s.
- You’ll be tenacious and able to embrace, develop and shape a new role.
- You’ll be well organised, proactive, and a self-starter who is able to self-motivate.

Duties and Key Responsibilities
1. Content development:
- Work with the Information and Content Officer to research, write, edit and produce new information materials including print publications, web pages, videos, infographics and social media content.
- Work in line with Sarcoma UK’s information production process, including:
- Liaise with clinical experts and lived experience reviewers throughout the content development process
- Maintain formal systems within the information production process in line with the PIF tick quality mark
- Ensure all new content meets clinical standards, brand guidelines, plain English principles, and accessibility requirements.
- Be an advocate for best practice in content design and user experience.
2. Content updates & maintenance:
- Maintain a schedule of review and updates to existing print and digital information resources to ensure accuracy and alignment with the PIF quality mark.
- Manage a comprehensive database to track all information resources and versions, and proactively manage stock levels.
3. Content promotion & distribution:
- Work with colleagues to create promotional content for Sarcoma UK's information resources across multiple channels.
- Utilise social media platforms to extend reach and engagement with target audiences.
- Collaborate with communications and digital teams on content publishing and marketing.
4. Administration & reporting:
- Manage the information and content production process in line with the PIF tick quality mark
- Undertake an annual audit of the performance of our printed information and manage the PIF assessment process
- Monitor and report on the impact of print and digital content to inform continuous improvement
- Manage budgets for content production, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Set and monitor KPIs for information resources, ensuring progress against organisational goals
5. External relationships:
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure expert input and review is integrated into the development of new information and content.
- Work with our involvement network to co-create content and ensure it reflects diverse lived experiences
- Collaborate with external organisations to partner on our information and extend our reach.
6. Innovation and Evaluation:
- Explore new areas for improving and developing digital and print content, including improving web accessibility, incorporating more patient stories, and making our content more visual.
- Explore new models to evaluate impact of our resources on patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals
- Explore and implement SEO strategies to improve the discoverability of digital content
7. Line Management:
- Provide line management, day-to-day supervision, and support the learning and development of the Information and Content Officer.
8. General:
- Gain and develop knowledge of sarcoma, keeping up to date with developments in the field
- Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation, developing effective working relationships and participating effectively in cross-organisational projects

About the role

About The Role
Working closely with leaders across the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications and Operation's directorates, this is an exciting role for an experienced marketing manager to lead on the development and delivery of WWT's national visitor marketing strategy.
A visit to a WWT site is often the start of the supporter journey - They showcase the incredible super powers of wetlands and the stunning wildlife they protect, they inspire people to want to come back and to support wetlands into the future. Visitors are a business imperative and a core part of helping WWT achieve its mission, to restore wetlands and unlock their power.
You'll get to collaborate with central and site-based marketing teams to develop the 3-year plan to increase first-time visitors to WWT wetland sites. The role will manage the central visitor marketing budget and guide the development of local marketing plans and budgets, setting clear targets and KPI's to monitor performance and ensure success.

As a marketing expert who's worked in a visitor attraction or similar organisation, you'll be adept at developing and delivering multi-channel marketing strategy and plans to deliver measurable outputs and outcomes.

The role and your key responsibilities
As Marketing Lead, you’ll head up the marketing to our UK and international school audiences - from building compelling email campaigns to crafting engaging slide decks. UK and international schools are our two biggest audiences, and you’ll play a key role in driving their continued growth, helping us to support as many students as possible to make informed decisions about their next steps.

Purpose of the job
The main purpose of the job is to facilitate development and delivery of the BIG Alliance’s skills-based volunteering programme, which utilises the skills, experience and sector-specific expertise of employees within our business partners to support Islington’s community organisations and residents.
Our skilled volunteers are placed with a community partner or beneficiary either individually or join one of our annual programmes which include: CoRe (Community Resourcing), Board Builders, Leaders in Partnership and Time to Talk. Over 2,500 employees have been placed as skilled volunteers through BIG Alliance since 2012 providing expertise in law, finance, IT, HR, and marketing and communications to name just a few.
The postholder will be responsible for the successful delivery of various aspects of this programme, delivering exciting, innovative employer supported volunteering projects that meet the expectations of specific corporate supporters, and the needs of the community with key geographical focus in Islington.
Job Description
Main duties:
• Collaborate closely with community partners, corporate partners and BIG team to understand community needs and design appropriate employee volunteering activities to address these needs
• Develop relationships and effective partnerships with key stakeholders in the community including the local authority and community infrastructure support organisations to maximise the impact of BIG Alliance’s work.
• Support the delivery of all business skills activity and the wider BIG Alliance programmes.
• Proactively market volunteering programmes to BIG Alliance corporate partners.
• Source, place and manage cohorts of corporate volunteers in line with business plan and project targets.
• Develop effective working relationships with community affairs team with BIG Alliance corporate partners, ensuring that these companies are supported to develop employee volunteering and other initiatives that meet their targets, priorities and strategies.
• Implement effective evaluation and impact measurement tools in line with BIG Alliance corporate partner requirements, ensuring that evaluation informs best practise to ensure continuous improvement.
• Work on any projects with BIG Alliance, as and when required.
General
• Develop a broad knowledge of regeneration programmes and local authority priorities in Islington.
• Use BIG Alliance’s internal systems to maintain records and report progress, including due diligence and volunteer recording via Salesforce
• Ensure that effective project management systems for monitoring and evaluation are in place and keep detailed records.
• Proactively generate case studies, news articles, photos and social media content to promote the work of BIG Alliance in line with BIG Alliance communication targets and protocols.
