More about the role: As Senior Visit Coordinator, you will manage up to four visits a month, acting as the primary contact for a portfolio of schools and organisations. You will work closely with the Team Leader to ensure the visits are well-planned and executed, and you will deputise for them during visits when required. You will lead and support visits, deliver engaging sessions in areas such as woodwork, gardening, and horse care, and contribute to daily farm activities like walks, mealtimes, and evening activities that strengthen the connections between young people and staff.
You will ensure the smooth operation of each visit, overseeing the completion of documentation to track and monitor progress. and work closely with visiting staff to ensure they get maximum value from the experience including the follow-up process ensuring lasting change beyond the visit itself.

ROLE PURPOSE
The Individual Giving (IG) and Legacies Officer will work closely with the IG Manager and play a pivotal role in growing cash and regular donors and legacy giving for St George’s Hospital Charity. This position is crucial to our goal of increasing individual giving from £350,000 to £600,000 and legacies over the next five years.
The postholder will have a strong direct and digital marketing background as they will work closely with the Individual Giving Manager to:
• lead marketing initiatives for all IG streams including cash, regular, Payroll Giving, Face to Face, Lottery.
• drive forward seamless automated digital stewardship journeys, and produce engaging campaigns that demonstrate our impact.
• delivering effective digital activities that grow our brand awareness and income from fundraising campaigns
They will also be a strong administrator, with attention to detail leading on administration for Individual Giving and Legacies, working with IG Manager and Fundraising Assistant to ensure online and offline donations are accurately processed, reconciled and uploaded to our database.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Individual Giving
1.1. Recruit, engage and mobilise donors to increase income year on year.
1.2. Lead on two fundraising campaigns each year, creating communication assets for our website, social media platforms and newsletters.
1.3. Ensure our donation platforms are fit for purpose and integrate into our database, with a view to ensuring we have a high donor conversion rate.
1.4. Ensure all activities comply with relevant data protection and gift aid legislation, adhering to Fundraising Regulator standards.
1.5. Where appropriate, act as a point of contact for external agencies and direct marketing platform providers.
1.6. With support from Fundraising Assistant, ensure our administration, record keeping and thanking for all IG activity is accurate and up to date.
1.7. Process & record income onto our CRM, including batch uploads.
2. Legacy Giving
2.1. Lead on all legacy administration including processing incoming legacy gifts, keeping accurate records, ensure they are allocated correctly and thanked appropriately, where possible.
2.2. Liaising with solicitors on open legacy cases and recording updates.
2.3. Support IG Manager on legacy marketing materials and campaigns.
3. Donor Journeys
3.1. Develop and disseminate key supporter journeys across web, social media and Google Ads
3.2. Plan, design, write and deliver automated email supporter journeys for new and existing donors to enhance engagement and retention.
3.3. Create engaging communication assets (videos, blog posts, leaflets) for donors and prospective donors that demonstrate the charity’s impact.
4. Direct & Digital Marketing
4.1. Lead on content creation creatively that will appeal and engage our supporters e.g. social media posts, videos, blog posts
4.2. Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to drive traffic and donations.
4.3. Liaise with external agencies where necessary.
4.4. Update associated webpages e.g. Donate, Leave a Gift in your Will, ensuring these pages are user friendly and accessible with a view to improve conversion rates of people donating online and leaving a gift in their will.
4.5. Collaborate with internal teams and hospital staff to research, develop, and deliver new campaigns, messages, or digital products.
4.6. Implement tests with clear segmentation and testing matrices to maximize learning and income from each campaign.
4.7. Analyse and interpret direct marketing campaign results, producing regular reports that draw conclusions and make recommendations for future activity.
4.8. Work with our Database Manager to ensure all campaign data is utilized, captured, and processed efficiently and accurately.
4.9. Work with management to develop a digital fundraising plan that is clear and timeline-focussed to grow relevant income streams e.g. legacies and individual giving.
4.10.Plan and implement strategies to mobilise supporters via digital channels aiming to increase our newsletter subscribers from 3,000 – 10,000 contacts with a view to convert digital leads into cash donors
5. General Duties
• Participate actively in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights to enhance team performance and collaboration.
• Using our communications toolkit, incorporate our branding and tone of voice across all assets.
• As and when required, provide front desk coverage, welcoming visitors and donors at the Welcome Office and serving as a friendly and helpful representative of the organisation.
• Engage in continuous professional development and participate in regular performance reviews

The post will be primarily based remotely, working from home, but with access to shared office space in Camden and Monument in London. Our board of trustees meet twice a year in person in central London (and twice more online), and our Executive Director is often in London for meetings once or twice a week. The Media and Engagement Officer is an exciting and crucial new role suited to a natural storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This role will support the way we communicate with communities across South and East Kent by gathering, creating and sharing stories in engaging and creative ways, whilst also handling media enquiries on behalf of the Diocese.
Reporting to the Senior Media and Engagement Officer and working closely with the team, you will play a key role in the execution of the communications and engagement strategy for our diocese and help to enhance our digital profile by creating informative, engaging and inspiring content to all our audiences.
You will acti as first point of contact for our clergy, parishes and staff to support their communications work, including support with digital, video, social and traditional media. You will also be a point of contact for media enquiries, as well as assisting with urgent/crisis communications.
You will ensure the diocesan website meets the needs of our audiences by working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the content is up-to-date, fresh and relevant, whilst also providing an analytical approach to web performance.
With a relevant professional or educational background, you should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be capable of writing engaging media content, including news stories and press releases.
You should be creative, detail-oriented, proactive in spotting trends and have a good awareness of current affairs, as well as having experience of editing, proofreading and fact-checking copy.
Experienced in managing and improving websites and social media platforms, you will be at ease analysing social media performance and capable of helping to implement the social media strategy, ensuring we connect and engage with audiences from a range of backgrounds.
As part of this role, it is important for you to maintain a high degree of personal visibility around the Diocese in order to build excellent relationships with clergy, parishioners, local communities, local leaders and media contacts. The Community and Events Fundraising team designs and delivers memorable fundraising experiences that raises millions of pounds and turns one-time participants in to lifetime supporters. This role will contribute to this purpose by supporting the delivery of fundraising activity and creating a great supporter experience for our participants ensuring our supporters are at the heart of everything we do.
You will play a pivotal role in the Community and Events Fundraising team reaching and exceeding their target of circa £12.8 million NET income by 2025. You will project manage fundraising activity and supporter journeys from beginning to end, delivering them on time and in line with annual plans and budget. You will analyse and produce evaluation reports reporting against budget, and interpreting these results to inform future activity and contribute towards the annual planning of the team. You will possess strong verbal communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively our supporters across a range of channels including mail, e-mail, telephone, face-to-face, and online. You will be an adaptable and flexible member of the Community and Events fundraising team, able to move and slot in to sub-teams to help deliver changes in capacity and strategy. You will form strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Mind, following briefing processes and ways of working to ensure the efficient delivery of activity. You will help gather content for the media and digital teams through the relationships you develop with our supporters
Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
1. Deliver fundraising activity and supporter journeys from beginning to end as delegated by the senior officer from writing briefs, working with creative agencies/freelancers, internal data teams, print and production, fulfilment agencies to collating results and recommending learnings.
2. Deliver all activities within budget expenditure, continuously improving to ensure income targets are met.
3. Build excellent relationships with internal teams and third-party suppliers to effectively deliver activities and achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. To assess and proactively steward registered participants as per their supporter journey. This could include undertaking welcome calls, sending supporter communications, providing ongoing fundraising support, following up non-payments, personalised thanking, and supporter surveys. This can be done across a range of channels including mail, email, and telephone, online and face to face.
2. To attend supporter led and third-party events to help enhance our supporters experience and deepen their relationship with Mind.
3. To support the Senior Fundraising Officer in the delivery of Community Fundraising activity. This can include planning, writing and submitting briefs, generating marketing and stewardship communications, working with third party agencies, setting up web pages, reporting and analysing live activity and conducting evaluations.
4. To analyse and interpret data, including marketing and stewardship performance, and adjust tactics to continuously improve and ensure results are met.
5. To produce high quality analysis reports for activities, including recommendations to inform and improve future fundraising.
6. To liaise positively with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure that all activities, publications and materials fall within the Mind's tone of voice and brand guidelines, and Mind policies are adhered to.
7. To work with our media agency and internal Digital Team to achieve Mind's digital-first strategy, attending training opportunities with internal teams and external agencies to upskill as needed, and thinking digital-first in the briefing of all new activity.
8. To identify and capture inspiring and motivational supporter stories that can be shared across Mind's media and digital channels.
9. To maintain high standards of data capture by ensuring data entered on systems are accurate and timely, in accordance with the team's requirements.
10. To manage timely payment of invoices, including raising/requesting POs accurately and tracking expenditure to ensure activities are within budget.
11. To proactively manage your workload, including short-term and long-term deadlines.

Introduction and background
The Maternal Mental Health Alliance (MMHA) was founded in 2011 by people with lived experience, healthcare professionals, and organisations who understood the impact of perinatal mental problems and shared a commitment to improving the lives of women and their families.
Today, the MMHA is a UK-wide charity and network of over 130 member organisations. We work with parents, families, clinicians, and academics to ensure all women, birthing people, babies, and families have access to high-quality, compassionate mental health care. We bring the perinatal mental health community together and make change happen by combining the power of real-life experience with clinical and professional expertise.
We actively contribute to significantly improving mental health outcomes for people who experience discrimination, trauma and deprivation during the perinatal period and tackle systemic inequity and injustice.
We are now seeking a Chief Executive to take over from our interim CEO and lead the MMHA in the next stage of our development.
We have recently been awarded a 5-year grant by the National Lottery Community Fund to tackle maternal mental health inequities through community action. This project, due to start in Spring 2025, will develop, test and replicate a model of community-based decision making, support and service provision that is led by women with lived experience. This project aims to achieve system change locally and nationally to improve the mental health of marginalised women and is the next phase of the MMHA’s programme to tackle maternal mental health inequities across the UK. This will be our biggest piece of work over the next five years and will dovetail with other activities aimed at achieving our mission, where funding allows.

Leadership and strategy
- To provide clear strategic and inspirational leadership to the MMHA To drive the MMHA forward into the next stage of its development
- To ensure MMHA tackles maternal mental health inequities across the UK
- To be responsible for the management and administration of the charity within the strategic and accountability frameworks laid down by the Board of Trustees
- To work with Chair and Trustees in shaping the MMHA’s strategic mission, policies, aims and objectives
- To ensure long term sustainability of the MMHA through effective governance, sound finance and implementation of operational plans.
People
- To take overall responsibility for all permanent and temporary staff, and other members of the MMHA team, including contractors, champions and ambassadors

Governance, finance and compliance
- To support the Chair and Trustees to ensure that the governance of the charity is proportionate and effective, and that the charity fulfils its legal, statutory, regulatory and moral duties and responsibilities
- To be responsible overall for the financial sustainability of the charity, and ensure that there are effective mechanisms to ensure the robustness of external and internal controls (financial and non-financial), supported by the Consultant Finance Director
- To support the Consultant Finance Director to ensure the timely and complete preparation of key reports, information and activities, including management accounts, budgets, annual report and accounts, and payroll
- To ensure that the major risks to which the charity is exposed are reviewed regularly by the Board and the Executive team, systems have been established to mitigate these risks
- To work with the Chair and the Board Secretary to ensure that meetings of trustees are effective and that Trustees have appropriate information to perform their duties.
Income generation
- To take overall responsibility for the MMHA’s income generation activities, securing the future of the organisation and delivering its ambition for the mental health of women during the perinatal period
- To lead on all trust, foundation and lottery fundraising, establishing and maintaining relationships, including with the National Lottery Community Fund
- To support the Marketing & Partnerships Director to develop corporate partnerships, taking the lead on the relationship with Tommee Tippee
- To work with the Marketing & Partnerships Director to secure funding from individuals.
Communications and external affairs
- To support the Head of Engagement to maintain a relevant, diverse and effective range of members organisations, and ensure their ongoing contribution to achieving the goals of the charity 4
- To have oversight of the social, economic, clinical and policy context and how they impact on maternal mental health and MMHA strategy
- To ensure the Alliance is working effectively across the 4 UK nations and devolved administrations
- To act as a visible leader for the charity, representing the MMHA at external events and networking opportunities, and act as a spokesperson
- To oversee the development and delivery of marketing and communications strategies which effectively promote all aspects of the Alliance.

Job Role:
The Forces Employment Charity (FEC) delivers a specialist programme, OP Nova, to support veterans in the justice system who may be vulnerable, socially isolated, or need support to live or maintain a law-abiding life. FEC is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Caseworker - Op Nova in Kent & Sussex to join our team.
Reporting to Op NOVA Regional Manager. The successful candidate will have experience in managing and supporting a caseload of vulnerable veterans in your allocated region. A strong customer focus and an ability to work independently to achieve targets and deadlines is an essential requirement along with strong communication and organising skills, knowledge of the local employment market, training, and adult education opportunities.
This position is full-time, 35 hours per week with a salary of £29,000 per annum. This role is peripatetic in nature. It involves regular travel across the operating region and working from home when not out in the community. The usual working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm; however, there may be an occasional need to work outside core hours to meet the demands of the role.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Contact all clients within 48 hours of allocation
- Undertake needs assessments and develop support plan within 5 days of allocation
- Carry out an assessment using the Outcome Star, understand and record Employment and Housing status, and other assessments as required by the Regional Manager.

Salary: £30,800 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Northampton office
Contract: Permanent
Hybrid Working and Flexibility: This role offers hybrid working, with the expectation to attend the office at least one day per week. We are open to part-time applications or job shares - please indicate your preferred working arrangement in your application. Flexibility to work limited unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends, is also required.
